    Nice video. I made a cradle that bolts to the two threaded 3/4" holes on the each side of the tractor and then bolts to my floor jack. With the handle sticking between the front tires of the tractor, it is very easy to split the tractor. If you use one of those motorcycle jacks and change out their puny steel wheels with some hand cart tires, you can also use it in the dirt or grass.

      Sounds like an awesome hack, thanks for sharing!

    Most of the work is just getting to the problem. The fix is pretty straight forward. Been there done that. Thanks

      Yes indeed, splitting the tractor is the biggest part of the job. It's always a good idea to check over everything inside when you are there!

    Good job, The good thing the alignment tool comes with spare parts. Sometime we need to shape a wood bar and this is really hardest part

      Yes having the alignment tool really helps a lot!

    Hi Apart from the loader looking like it's had some bad experiences that tractor looks pretty decent for an acreage machine.
    Glad it still had the organic clutch in.,I hate those ceramic paddle clutches, Guys round here run the crap out of them and chew the disc 1/8 " into the flywheel and the cover. if they are real bad the flywheels are junk and can't be machined back to specs safely a second time.
    It was a common update on Belarus in Canada now most of them I do get flywheels, it's a good job the flywheels less than $400. our tractors a 1996 5270, its had 2 organic discs fitted and only had the cover changed as it ripped the pto drive hub out last year. The flywheel is perfect and yes it has a loader on but we drive it like we own it, not stole it. it shows with the lack of wear on the flywheel. The tool in the cover kit sure saves some messing using bits of pipe/ bar and tape making a temporary lining tool for the disc and cover to! Thanks for sharing the job, I wish they all went that easy

      The loader had been twisted up a bit, but the rest of the tractor is in very nice shape. The current owner has been going over it and catching up on some things that had been neglected by the original owner and has it in pretty top shape.
      One reason I got the kit where I did is the lining tool that comes with, it's just cheep plastic but does the job A1.
      I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching!

    I just did a clutch install on a 3930 and had 2 small tabs fall out as soon as I tightened everything up. Also, now I’m out of adjustment and after sitting for a day or so the clutch won’t disengage. Any suggestions

    • @CanadianRedneck15
      @CanadianRedneck15  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      First thing you will have to pull it back apart and figure out what those tabs are for. If they are spacers to hold place until it's together another one should have come out as well, if they are not supposed to fall out you will have to figure out where they go. Good luck and thanks for watching!

      It sounds like you may have a bad lift cylinder, it attaches to the under side of the lift cover. I make videos of what comes in for repair, I haven't had any of the lifts to repair yet.
      Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for the video. I noticed in a couple of them you use the alignment tool. Is that something you made or were you able to buy it?

    • @CanadianRedneck15
      @CanadianRedneck15  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      An alignment tool comes with some of the kits, for others we have made one from transmission input shafts and sometimes we just improvise, LOL.

    On a Ford New Holland 3930. When you remove flywheel what relation to crankshaft does it go? I see some timing marks on flywheel. Only way to see it is through that hole you mentioned on bottom.

    • @CanadianRedneck15
      @CanadianRedneck15  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe that the bolt holes line up only one way so the timing marks are correct. Thanks for watching!

      All four of my kids have worked with me at the shop here before they got jobs elsewhere, I figured it was good training for them and an opportunity to earn a few bucks. :) The home place here is 65 acres, not real big, but at least 1/4 mile to each of the neighbors.
      We live in New Brunswick, about 50 miles from the Bay of Fundy.

      shxx, lol i wish i had 65 acres. thanks for the come back. next year i retire God willing and will be getting me a place like 15-20 acres is good for me. lol.

      Good luck with your impending retirement and purchase. For a home lot 10 or more acres is large, but as a farm 65 acres is quite small. We no longer farm, but have another farm property as well where we hunt and do some of our shooting.

    looking at condition of clutch I would say that tractor was driven by teenager also I noticed white diesel in filter bowl and not cheaper red diesel

    • @CanadianRedneck15
      @CanadianRedneck15  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a teenager but not an experienced operator either. It is not used on a farm but for personal use to clear his driveway and bush hogging so is not eligible to use tax exempt diesel.

    Is this applicable to the Ford 3000 tractor as well?

    • @CanadianRedneck15
      @CanadianRedneck15  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should be similar but the 3000 could have a 2 stage clutch whereas this 3600 had a single clutch with a drive hub fixed in the pressure plate. Either way the process is pretty much the same.
      Thanks for watching!

    I rebuilt a Ford 3000 Industrial tractor and ordered a clutch for a 3000. Turns out there are several clutches for that tractor and you can't tell which one you need by tractor serial number. I got the wrong one and we took that tractor apart 5 times before we put in the old pressure plate and voila it works. Anyone need a brand new 14" Ford pressure plate???!!

    • @CanadianRedneck15
      @CanadianRedneck15  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, there are quite a few option's, that's why I always take the tractor apart before I order parts. Thanks for watching!

    Looks to me like you put the clutch disk in backwards.

    • @CanadianRedneck15
      @CanadianRedneck15  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, turned the other way the clutch hub would have touched the drive hub in the pressure plate. Thanks for watching!
