  • Step into the heart of a pressing issue in Pakistan - the escalating violence rooted in religious intolerance. As we go through this growing challenge, it’s evident that religious minorities face mounting insecurity. Are we overlooking their struggles? Why does each administration seem helpless in confronting these issues head-on? Why is there alarming silence surrounding this issue?
Let’s explore the plight of religious minorities and confront the complexities of this critical matter.
Panelists: Harris Khalique, Dr. Shoaib Suddle, Samuel Bashir and Ms. Jaaya Jaggi
    Moderator: Dr. A. H. Nayyar

The attendance itself shows how serious are these people for minority rights. And they never fail to lecture us.

Pakistan should never lecture any other country till they improve their own human rights issues!!!

I find myself short of words to appericiate the courage of people arranging the black hole and people who speak with courage under serious threats.

I cannot believe that we have made a living hell for own citizens! What a tragedy! How did we got here? What is the cause for this shameful thing? Will it ever come to an end????

Quaede Azam's speech was just idealism at. best and cheap propaganda at worst. The first speaker quoted as if it has legal implication!

After listening to this, definitely "Islam Khatrey mein hai" !!. Excellent discussion. We are heavily paying the price of the 2nd Amendment. All the generations born after this, educated or illiterate, have been brought up on hate filled upbringing.

The last speaker amongst the audience is pure gold, trying to bring a semblance balance to the discussion rather than the usual rona randi Pakistani self loathing.
But, overall, this discussion was better than most I've heard on this forum.

Jinna was not secular and was communal. He destroyed subcontinent. First reform your history and religious books full of lies and hatred towards non-Muslims.

No point having discussion on minorities in pak because more than 90 percent muslim majority won't believe this.

Being Muslim, we must protect rights of all the citizens of Pakistan. They are part of us.

As long as the philosophy of the ‘lesser religion’ pertains, nothing will change with you Muslims. Truth is you guys feel only you deserve rights because of your religion; others are famously called kafirs. Imagine that someone as educated as Dr. Pervez doesn’t understand RSS philosophy … says a lot about your religion and it’s core.

    # of audience in your show tells what majority of Pakistani think about non Muslims in your state. Pakistan Islamic constitution and education system reflect soul of your society. No change is coming, you are dead man walking polity.

Lethal dose of religion is always fatal.
Four intellectuals are speaking before a crowd of fifteen only.
This only shows how receptive are people of Pak ,over these issues.
Any way good to hear saner and human voices.
