    PLEASE NOTE: I nicked the wire when I was stripping the 2nd part of the plastic...make sure your wire is straight and flat on the table. Hold your exacto knife horizontal so it slides across the surface of the wire and doesn't scratch it. DISCLAIMER: Not for kids. Be very careful when stripping the plastic off the wire!!!

    Oh my goodness, I can tell just by this video I like the thinner wire (10g) so much more. My other one is a little on the heavy side. The plastic covered wire I bought from Home Depot I was actually able to cut slowly with my scissors as it was not on tight tight around the wires. If you have a dremel or fine sand paper you can sand of the nick on your wire ( wet 1600 or 2000 will work wonders) Plus fingernail buffers are not only for fingernails. Dremel & wet sandpaper tricks I learned on another YT video. ☺♥

    Can we go around to a bunch of hardware stores and ask for foot long samples of different wires? Kidding! (Or am I? LOL)

      Now there is a good idea! ;)

      Hopefully yours will. Mine would only sell me 1 meter pieces at the smallest, except the heavy duty expensive stuff he let me buy 1/2 M.

      Love that idea. Test out different gauges - nothing wrong with that!

    I can’t find this on your Amazon link. Can you please post a link? I absolutely LOVE your teaching. Quite clear and enjoyable.

      I can't find any on Amazon. I think you are best to go to your local hardware store. Home Depot has the larger 6 gauge size: www.homedepot.com/p/Southwire-25-ft-6-Gauge-Stranded-SD-Bare-Copper-Grounding-Wire-10665872/301124927 the 10-gauge is usually covered with plastic which can be removed. Good luck and thanks for your kind words.

    Thank you. I’m not the kind of person that does these things, but it seems simple enough that I should at least try before giving in to paying $200 for the vertigo bracelet that I was advised to purchase

    • @HeatherBoydWire
      @HeatherBoydWire  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is expensive. I don't promote the healing qualities of metals and crystals, but if you want to wear a copper bracelet I'm sure you can find a cheaper option or make one yourself.

      Hi Myrna: I bought this wire at Canadian Tire. You can get it at many hardware stores like Home Depot. I have some links in the description of the video.

      My pleasure Dino. This wire is awesome. I used it to make this head scratcher/massager: th-cam.com/video/VkojdKPnbFU/w-d-xo.html

    I so wanted to do this and searched so many electrical shops for the electrical cable. They all mostly have 3-4 core wire and each wire is no thicker than a 24g 😭😭

    • @HeatherBoydWire
      @HeatherBoydWire  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's too bad Neel. I only found the wire at one local hardware store. You can always twist some 18g wire together to make it!
