You would have to hold the trigger down for about 2 minutes straight to fully empty, but thats if it doesn't skip any shots. So you can fire for a pretty long time
As a paintball veteran, I’m not sure if I should love or hate these gell blasters. Can’t argue with the value though.

Only bad thing with paint balls is that there so expensive you get 20,000 gel bullets for $10
Coworker got one and was shooting everyone at work. Thought it was kinda cool, but then we went out to lunch. While driving to lunch we used two cars. We pulled up next to them bumping some music with the windows down to mess with them. All of a sudden we 2 guns point out the window at us and just start showering us in gel bbs. Light turns green, we slam the gas into an empty parking lot as they give chase. Most fun I've had in years. The fact that they're bio degradable, and won't damage anything. On top of not having to pick them up like darts or deal with air tanks like paintball.... Everyone in the shop ordered a personal one today. Most unanimous decision I've seen by 10 grown men.
I have 4 of these, and they end up rarely getting used due to the bit of planning required… plus, infinite ammo at high rate it fire doesn’t make for super interesting games in a small arena… they are cool though. They show off well to people.
Basically all my friends have one. We normally play CTF or TDM. Except it’s the first model, not the drum model so the none infinite ammo and it being 8 or 9 of us improves the fun

Got these for my younger brothers for Christmas. Played in the backyard. Probably longer than they ever have. Charged them and filled up a bunch of gels the night before. Best toy ever. Didn't hurt them but shoots fast enough to still be fun.

if you could only change the color of the lights to separate players of different teams that'd be insane
You could easily use colored gels meant for photography lights. Just slap the gels on one of the teams guns and that would change the color of their lights.
Recently got the older splat r ball gun pretty sweet I like it but only thing with this new one why not select fire the old one had full auto is always fun but not always needed plinking is fun too and the mags are cross compatible

Prehydrating ammo is extremely simple. Just fill up a milk jug with them and seal it. Trust me, it keeps forever when sealed. You don't even need anything special to seal it, just screw the cap back on and verify it's not leaking. Simple as that. You can store it anywhere you want as long as you know it won't freeze.
do you keep water in the jug with the ammo?
@@braydencook3110 You can if you want, but it's not necessary. As long as the cap is on and it's not leaking air they'll keep for as long as you need them.
If you do want to keep water in the jug and it's a clear jug, be sure to label it because the clear beads are nearly impossible to see when submerged in water.

That's what I was thinking, don't plan it out just hydrate all of then at once and seal them somewhere cool and wet if you're really worried they'll dry out

Gelsoft is big here in Queensland, Australia. We're not allowed airsoft, so it's the Aussie alternative. A lot of gel blasters are converted airsoft weapons.

@@grimworld27 We are overgoverned. Our govts have a history of removing personal freedoms. A mass shooting in 1996 precipitated strict gun laws banning semi-auto / self-loading long arms, eg no AR-15s in Oz. We are also prohibited from carrying firearms (and gel blasters and airsoft guns) in public, including handguns. Airsoft weapons are viewed by authorities as resembling real steel and having the potential to be converted to firearms. Crazy, I know.
Those goggles are pretty good quality too I test them buy setting them on a ledge and shot a full clip of copper steel and black diamond bbs from a full auto co2 beretta pistol which is firing atleast 380 fps and they deflected every shot and I did semi auto for full co2 power and still only left little dents in the plastic. Now I'm not saying you should have a war with bb guns while wearing them bcuz bb guns nowadays are very lethal still ACCIDENTS can happen BE CAREFUL FUN WITH FRIENDS ISNT WORTH YOUR LIFE AGAIN BE SAFE

I own the original splatr ball gun and it works great, the only issues i had was once there was no gel balls to feed up the tube it would no longer fire, so you would have about 15-20 unused gel balls which you could either trash or throw at am ur friends, aswell semi didnt work to well and it either didnt shoot it popped a few out at the same time,
flip the gun upside down me and my friend just say that we only gotta a few gangster shots left

Range and accuracy is very comparable especially at low to low med ranges but these hit @ a basketball court what Amazons do at 15m Or 48ft

Anyway you would entertain doing some modding tutorials for these? I have the SRB400 and I'd be curious to know if an upgraded piston head (aluminum, better seals all around) would be worth it. I don't really care to upgrade the battery as 8 rounds per second is plenty, but more FPS and a quieter operation would be cool. If the improvements are disappointing, I guess I'll wait to modify it until I get metal gear replacements and a bigger spring as well.

I live in Australia, so the legality of gel blasters differs from state to state, I had a friend recently move up to Queensland and the first thing he did was buy a gel glock. Wish I could join in the fun, but sadly New South Wales law is a buzzkill :( You need an actual gun license to own a blaster like this, but if you have a blaster that looks like a real military-style weapon they're completely illegal.
I assume these gel ball ammo diameters are standardized to everything else?
I bought a couple cheap gel ball spring pistols on eBay and they use 12mm balls (11-12mm). This is 7.5mm. I’m pretty sure most higher quality gel blasters use the same ammo size as the one in this video. SplattRball calls them 7.5mm but most other gel ball companies would call that same ammo 7-8mm, they do that to account for any deviation. Gel balls are usually sold with a 1mm range, not a specific size. That might save someone some confusion.

My airsoft AEG can hit a soda cans over a hundred feet away with a few shots, and it only 350 fps. It is more economic than a airsoft gun that has the same rate of fire but nowhere the range and accuracy of a airsoft gun.
The only thing stoping me from buying these gel ball blasters is location. Even if they make these things look child friendly as possible a lot of civvies would be concern about getting hit by something like this by accident while a Nerf blaster they would assume it won't hit long distances even if it's been modded to do so. Otherwise I would buy 6 of these lol
A silicone measuring cup helps you to get more ammunition in the drum.

I just got mine and I loaded it up I made sure the ammo was hydrated, the battery was charged and followed all the steps but whenever I fire my gun the blue light turns off whenever I press the trigger and the gun dosent even make a noise it just instantly turns off and I don't think anything is broken because the day before I dry fired it for a test run and it was shooting air
If just this were allowed in a nerf game it would replace rival protons.
you could probably find the gel balls and feed them back into the blaster before you can do that with the hyper rounds
In some parts of Australia you need a FIRE ARM LICENSE to own one, and your a loud to fire a real gun at your private property in the middle of no we’re but you can only fire a gel blaster at a registered paint ball field how stupid is that

You could probably replace this ammo with silicone water beads in which $5 gets you a 50 gallon tub of beads and they won't explode on impact but they will eventually dry out and be smaller than sand

It works with a motion sensor so if u not touching it/moving it the light turns off after a bit

To my experience, mostly. Indoors? No. If you shoot the shit around you’re gonna have to wash it. Outdoors? 100% of the time.
