I “rediscovered “ Gerald in August 2023 through a 2014 TH-cam Hymn Sing & realized immediately what a treasure he is. I attended my first GV concert this past May & was over the moon to be able to talk to him. Will be seeing GV again at a Gospel music festival in AZ in Jan. 2025. I love him to pieces. ❤️Praise God for Bill Gaither (met him in So CA in Jan. 2011); without his Homecoming concerts I may never have known about GV.
My Absolute Favorite Gerald Wolfe song from the piano, (Champion of Love obvious #1) I loved this part of the Cathedrals set when they would just let Gerald share and sing so authentic and rich! AND ANOINTED!!!
When he first joined the Cathedrals, I couldn’t figure out why they hired a kid. Boy has he ever evolved into a most wonderful blessing to me and many others !❤
Good Lord!! I've listened to Gerald Wolfe sing for years but I've never heard this recording...my my my Lord!! You better sang! His voice is so smooth yet so powerful! His dynamics and technicals are flawless but most importantly, you can hear the anointing of the Holy Spirit in his voice! Come on son, you better sang!
I discovered the talents of Gerald Wolfe with Greater Vision a few years ago. Amazing, believable singer. “Just One More Soul “ is my favorite of him.The late Glen Payne sings a song “ We Shall See Jesus” recorded live with the Gaithers years ago is in my opinion his Banner Song. If he never sang another note that song is Enough.
Gerald Wolfe hit every branch of the talent tree when God sat him on top of it. Lord have mercy.
It’s a shame that he can’t sing like this anymore because of his voice issues, but when he was in his prime, very few could match his vocal talents…
