I am planning a trip to Paris. So glad I found your channel.
Oh so happy to hear that.
I will be there in 6 days and all your videos have helped me so much to prepare for the trip.
Oh, so glad I could help. Have a great trip. It's finally going to get warm this week, so highs of 76 (I believe) which is not super warm but it's comfortable.
Great video. Just bought the vintage packet. Hugs from Texas😊
Ah cool. Thank you!
In Paris I love to take a Metro into the centre then walk all day, stopping for a coffee, a glass of wine, lunch etc. I never get tired of it. Was there last weekend 🎉❤
Aww. I hope you had a good trip.
@@adrielfelise it was fabulous
thank you Adriele. I have shared this video with bmy girls as they will be going to Paris in November.
Great. Glad to hear that! Feel free to let them know they can ping me on Insta if they have any queries.
💯These were EXCELLENT!💯
I’m so glad you liked it!
30:28 I just watched a video were they said that in some places, like Montmartré, menu in English can have different prices because is for tourists.
I’ve never heard that but that’s easy to check. Every restaurant has their menu outside on the wall or a card so you can see what the prices are in french. And if they’re different when you get the r lights menu, just walk out. Besides unless you speak fluent French like a french person, they will assume you are a tourist and give you the English menu anyway. It’s not going to be easy to hide you’re a tourist. One thing I do know they do, is they will totally ask for a tip or expect a tip if you’re a tourist but they know a local isn’t doing that.
Thank youuuuu so much taking care of us and making sure that you give thorough, comprehensive information - please don't apologize!!!!. PS, I love and look forward to your content!!!
Can you please give information on getting to Versailles for half a day, as I can only afford 1 day Paris in December. Thanks again
It will be hard to do Versailles in half a day but it would be possible if you get there right when it opens. Just book your tickets super early in advance. Normally, you can take the RER C straight to Versailles but they’re doing some work on it so I think there’s a diversion now. And depending upon the train you take, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to get to Versailles.
@@adrielfelise Thanks again for this information, very helpful.
Such good information! Thanks!
You’re welcome.
With the G7 app, can I pay through the app and know the price in advance? I have been to Paris many times but never did the tour bus. I will be there in October and may try it.. My daughter likes to order lasagna in every country we have visited. Paris wins so far. We haven't been to Italy. Awesome video!
Thanks. Last I checked, with G7 you can pay through the app but only if you’ve ordered the cab through the app. Personally; I no longer use the G7 app because they charge a fee if you order it in advance and, as a result, it comes out more expensive than an Uber or just hailing a cab on the street.
The lasagne here is good. Even the Picard lasagne.
Does the Navigo card work on the bus as well?
Yes!!
The navigo card can actually take you pretty far out of Paris. I think my navigo took me to the city where Picasso lived. I can’t remember if it took me to Giverny though.
When we arrived in Paris, the taxi driver told me his card machine wasn’t working. My husband knew he was lying. Smh.
It ticks me off so much. That’s why I now will tell them before I get in that I have no ability to give cash and cannot go to an ATM so either you accept card or don’t. They usually stop with those games real quick then.
Did this video include the new scam you experienced on your way to the airport?
No that happened long after I did the video. You can find a summary of that in the blog post, which is linked in the video description.
