The reason people use the raised sticks is because it increases the travel distance from one side to the other, so if you move your thumb like a mm with the raised stick it won't move as far as if you did the same with the lowered one. The idea is basically more precise movement
Those things that raise analog height will greatly improve performance in first person shooters. It enables you to have more range of movement which will make you more accurate.
I have used those little analog stick attachments. The silicone ones slip off too easy. I have a hard plastic one with a rubber top. They work ok, depends on the game and how hard you are on the sticks. Because they will fly off in games like Madden, when you try to use the right Analog stick. I have two different heights and the short one, the glue keeping the rubber top on failed and it doesn’t sit on the base very firmly. It’s something you would have to try to see if your liked it. And they are so cheap that you don’t lose much if you buy them and don’t like them.
The reason why people would like to add height to their sticks is purely for aim. With bigger sticks Micro movements are much easier and it just overall gives you more control.
2:25 I actually use those, I use the medium ones in black only on the left thumb stick, it’s actually pretty good, it keeps my aim pretty stable and such. Good buy.

I bought a $25 pair of (USB) SADES Spirit Wolf 7.1 Headset 4 months shy of 3 years ago for my PS4 and they still work great. The fake leather around the speakers has peeled a bit, revealing the fabric that was attached to the leather. I've dropped them more than 20 times on a hard floor by stepping on the cord as I stood up, and it still works fine and comfortable.
I have that same charging station and I have another one. I have those stickers. I was going to get the those headphones but not after watching this, finding out they don't light up unless you plugged them into the game so close. Very good video 👏

I have the Sunset Orange, Berry Blue, and yellow Death Stranding controllers. I use the thumbstick covers so I don't ruin the actual rubber on the analogs. Mine are cat paws and feel very good, extra grippy, and i don't have to worry about my nails knicking the original analog sticks. When you see controllers with worn out analog tops, especially collectible controllers, you'll get it.
I always thought this silicone pads are useless, until i played so much with my first controller, that the original skin on the pads began slowly to get off. So thanks that these things exist xD
