Mixeli all trainer's forget pikachu's signature move volt tackle One.... Two.... And.... Ta da! pikachu forget volt tackle and learn zippy zap, floaty fall and splishy splash 😔😔😔 but this video reminds all trainer's pikachu's first signature move
For me, gen 3 hands down because of how Pikachu bolts across the screen, slams into the opponent, then quickly appears back in place surging with electricity truly demonstrates how powerful it is
Seriously. I mean, that move was specifically created so Pikachu could have it's own unique signature move... but then in B/W they just go dropping it for Electro Ball of all things, especially when Pikachu doesn't even know Agility anymore to make the most of that move. If Pikachu needed a new move to keep things fresh they really should have dropped Thunderbolt instead.
Lab Rats Battles I honestly thought it was Introduced in Gen 5 when they introduced along with Volt Switch. LOL I don’t think I even remember using Volt Switch in Gen 4. And Gen 4 was the first Gen to be officially new and a fan to the Pokémon gaming franchise. LOL
*My Volt Tackle Review!* RSE: looks like a volt tackle! An electrified pounce! DPPt/HGSS: the backgrounds cool, but not much of a Tackle. Just a couple electric waves. BW: I like this one! The animated electric waves across the screen look super cool! B2W2: awesome! Just like BW, but with the electricity outburst at the end, looks even better! XY/ORAS: looks like a powerful volt Tackle! Simple enough. SMUSUM: I like this one a lot. The electricity in this one looks gorgeous and smooth. LGPE: there’s only about a second of this one, but it looks incredible! It actually looks like the anime, where Pikachu coats itself in electricity and tackles the foe! Looks awesome and lifelike. Overall favourite: LGPE
Gen 3 volt tackle actually looks like a Volt tackle from the Anime. Gen 4 and 5 seems just likes some electric pulses. Gen 6 and above seems like a little too short of an animation for a high power signature move.
It is incredible that gen 3 did the best job animating the move and making it look strong, gen 4 pikachu just stays there, gen 5 is ok but doesn't give the impression pikachu tackled so hard it received damage too, gen 6-7 almost a volt switch, LGPE is nice but too short
Very clever...to those who don't know, and I can't blame you, the name is a reference to the manga "The Electric Tale of Pikachu" which is basically an alternate/abridged version of the animé. In one chapter, Ash says all his Pokémon have nicknames, with the first being Jean-Luc Pikachu (upon saying this, Pikachu suddenly has the Starfleet symbol on his chest),...to which Misty quips, "How engaging."
@Eating Soba no it’s not, zippy zap is weaker then volt tackle(zippy zap has 80 power while volt tackle has 120 power),it doesn’t have self damage,it’s guaranteed crit and I think has an high priority(not sure about this last one)
I liked gen 5’a animation! Especially B2W2! It’s the faster version of gen 4’s. Animation kinda died down after gen 5. Basically from gen 6-7 it’s just pikachu forming into a ball lol i’m glad in Let’s Go’s version it bears a resemblance to the anime, minus the flashy yellow aura surrounding pikachu
cant believe even in 3ds games they didnt make pikachu stand on its four feet and attack, it is a damn simple animation, but it is good to see what it became in lets go
I remember feeling like a boss when I bred a Female Pikachu holding a volt orb with a Male Pikachu to have a baby Pichu with Volt Tackle back in Pokemon Heart Gold
Wow... not even the franchise mascot's signature attack can get an animation budget in the 3d games. They could have done so much better. Why is it that Brave Bird is the only one of the heavy recoil attacks to look amazing?
With absolutely no doubt the generation 3 animation is much (MUCH) better than the later generations. "Volt Tackle" was a gorgeous move, back then. Now, it's a real pity how Game Freak has gotten rid of all the aura and soul of the moves, specially after generation 4. Up until generation 3 (with a few generation 4 ones) moves used to be longer, better designed and overall more beautiful (look at gen 1 "Thunder" and "Psychic" animations, for instance). There was soul involved. Now, moves are rather short, in length, less animated and souless (mind that "Ice Beam" from gen 4: what a horrible simplified animation with that thin icy beam that looked like a simple string of ice or something, whilst gen 3 had wonderful ice moves animations with that ice wall on the background of the screen in many of them).
wow, that has to be the move that got destroyed the most by Gen 6 literally removed everything cool about the animation In Gen 7 it just looks like a generic move (why didn't they give this move to more Pokemon anyways!!!)

The Pokemon Xy one should be 1:33.
And 1:41 for Pokemon omega ruby and alpha sapphire
For me, gen 3 hands down because of how Pikachu bolts across the screen, slams into the opponent, then quickly appears back in place surging with electricity truly demonstrates how powerful it is
Ahh Volt Tackle...remember those days when Ash's Pikachu knew that move : )
that move was insanely op in the anime
That was incredible to see pikachu running and then the air surrounding it getting volt and the electricity making it so powerful and charged
I miss it a lot 😪😪😪
Seriously. I mean, that move was specifically created so Pikachu could have it's own unique signature move... but then in B/W they just go dropping it for Electro Ball of all things, especially when Pikachu doesn't even know Agility anymore to make the most of that move.

@@EmeralBookwise yeah I would agree on that
Back then I always thought Volt Tackle originated from Gen 4, but gosh darn I was wrong.
Same here (especially sense platinum was the first pokemon game i ever played)
Gen 3*

@@OnlyTimefps9 thats because volt switch didnt exist in gen 4
x Hale yeah man just noticed. It’s been so long that I haven’t played Platinum or HesrtGold.
2:15 ah good, they finally made an accurate animation of what volt tackle was supposed to look like.
That's not volt tackle, that's zippy zap, pikachu's new exclusive move.
@@chuyrenteria6252 still it’s accurate volt tackle or not

Zygarde Complete I love your reactions
Actually, from lets go, its actually zippy zap, pikachu's new exclusive move, instead.
I like the Let's go one
Gen 3 volt tackle actually looks like a Volt tackle from the Anime. Gen 4 and 5 seems just likes some electric pulses. Gen 6 and above seems like a little too short of an animation for a high power signature move.
My favorite move of pikachu in anime
Gen 3 volt tackle 😍

1:28 gotta love that B2W2 Volt Tackle backdrop.
how to learn pikachu a volt tackle
Oh I just love how you nicknamed that Pikachu Jean Luc! xD
Another nice video mixeli you make video is awesome
“Jean Luc” is the most random Pikachu nickname ever
I specifically remember trying to get a light ball in Pokémon Diamond just so I could breed a Pikachu that knew Volt Tackle
Pikachu Volt Tackle is AWESOME!I like it!

IMHO, gen 3 had the best Volt tackle animation
Thanks for doing my favorite Pokemon.
Non mais sérieux le pikachu prénommé Jean-Luc m’a tuée XD
Meilleur surnom pour pire pokémon
Brasileiro com certeza
The LGPE move isn't Volt Tackle, it's Zippy Zap.
@Eating Soba no it's not 🤦🏻♂️

Nice video dude :)
Tim say volt tackle is my best moves. *charging up.. ZYOOM!!⚡
"Jean Luc" -This revival of Star Trek: The Next Generation sure looks awesome. D:
1. RSE/FRLG
2. B2W2
3. BW
4. LGPLGE
5. SM/USUM
6. DPPt/HGSS

Cabziiechuu Gen 6 was still he best as it showed actual movement but Lets Go so far is the best looking
The one from lets go is actually not volt tackle; instead, its pikachu's new exclusive move, zippy zap.
Volt tackle is an awsome move
The nickname of Jean Luc is great, so as the video
Wow uploaded during my b day
This is the only move that made Pikachu very but decently strong.
*cough* light Ball *cough*
I would love an evolution of the move tackle, pretty please !
Why it's the same animation since red and blue
@@pigeonlord8128 good point

I remember feeling like a boss when I bred a Female Pikachu holding a volt orb with a Male Pikachu to have a baby Pichu with Volt Tackle back in Pokemon Heart Gold
The lvl 70 pichu was the best part lmao
Gen 3 is my favorite since you can see pikachu get recoil static at the end ( sorry for my bad english)
Le nom Jean-luc va très bien à ce pikatchu !
1:22 that cry always made me laugh back then🤷♂️🤷♂️
He got the Jean Luc from the Manga if you were curious
El mejor por siempre será la animación de la tercera generación 😎🥹👌🏻
1:10 a Kanto gym theme facing vs Toxicroak. Whose trainer owns a Toxicroak?
Probably Janine.
What happened with gamecube animations?
Fire Red and leaf green 🔥🔥🔥🔥
the one in let's go is not Zippy Zap? looks the same
The Electric-Type Double Edge...
Lv.70 Pichu lol
Move that I don't think I've ever seen on gen 3
It went from Thunderclap and Flash Fivefold to Threefold to just Thunderclap and Flash.
Quick question can a Raichu have volt tackle?
@Smithaz-Corey ok thanks
what is the ending theme? i forgot
Pikachu has that move volt tackle as final smash in smash bros
Out of all of these, I surprisingly only liked bw2 and lgpe
Wow... not even the franchise mascot's signature attack can get an animation budget in the 3d games. They could have done so much better. Why is it that Brave Bird is the only one of the heavy recoil attacks to look amazing?
The move you showed in pokemon lets go Pikachu and eevee is zippy zap
How the heck did you get a volt tackle to pokemon black and white,
Gen 3 is the best, the sound of the impact makes it seem like it hurts a lot.
And it's because of this move that physical electric types have no good stab
How the hell did you get that pikachu learned volt tackle in pokemon soul silver
how to breed?
I will never understand why Pikachu didn't used that move more in the anime.
Imagine volt tackle when used by luxray with 120 Attck
The next of ratelate plis
Strike with Volt Tackle!
3rd gen is the coolest one

Volt Tackle really needs more distribution (or at least, switch the BPs of Wild Charge and Volt Tackle)
All the Physical electric types deserve it
It's the signature move of the Pichu line, they won't take away one of Pikachu's perks
That's like saying more pokemon should get roar of time or fusion bolt.
@@shawn4116 no
@@abarette_ it's Pikachu's signature move, so what's the difference compared to my examples?
@@shawn4116 uh, that it's just Electric-type Flare Blitz?
Volt tackle for life ash should’ve used it in the anime
Gen 3's definitely the best.
I don't know why in gen 4 & 5 Pikachu just stands there
Black and white 2
The one on Let's Go wasn't volt tackle it was Zippy Zap
how to learn volt tackle to pikachu..I mean every time I use pikachu, there's no volt tackle😢
You need to breed a pichu, both parents needs to be 2 pikachus, 1 holding a light ball
When the egg opens, the pichu will know volt tackle instantly
Let’s Go Pikachu😆
Why not add the Super Smash Bros. one?
Pourquoi Jean Luc comme surnom
01:42
You forgot detective pikachu movie
I could never learn volt tackle on my raichu at pokemon diamond and soulsilver
How can a 2003 GBA game portray Volt tackle than a Nintendo Switch one?
Jean-Luc Raichu-mann ? ;)
Gen 6 looked the best.
Its funny when you fight amogus in x y
Hahaha the second one is hilarious
It's not very effective, still one shot him
Ikr xD
They butchered it in gen 4. Gen 3 actually looked like a tackle.
Zippy zap is volt tackle but inf times less powerful and inf times more better because no recoil I called it king zap
Let's Go: 100%
Lol
1:34 the pokemon name looks sus
Jean-Luc???????????????? XD
Jean-Luc le Pikachu.
That zippy zap not volt tackle
C'est Éclair fou ou Électacle ?
C'est Électacle.

Bw2 volt tackle best
Remember volt tackle will damage pikachu health

Gen 3 seems more brutal
wow, that has to be the move that got destroyed the most by Gen 6
