Dear Alex, I am a very oppressed,diseased,impoverished, marginalised, isolated,trapped,bullied,suicidal, depressed, angry, stressed, unattractive, failed, undeveloped, traumatised woman of colour in the UK, unemployed, a non driver,a non graduate,a non happy person,in my late 20s , chronically ill, alone in a flat around some of the most awful people, rotting away, not okay BUT nonetheless I choose to intentionally listen to such recorded affirmations with the undying hope to manifest a much better life. Now, take every each of your negative statements and rewrite them positively - as existing positive statements, not "I wish" rather "I am"...
Or statements like "I love the feeling of...." .
1st will feel stupid, but slowly things will start to change... Just keep doing it for several weeks and witness the positive changes in your feelings and life.

This is a very empowering affirmation and I have noticed effects almost immediately in how I carry myself. Even before I know I am confident and emotionally strong and resilient, but there are times I found myself holding back. I always thought procrastination was my issue too but it was really self shame. I subconsciously didn't think I was worth anything and felt shameful if anything I do wasn't perfect.
