I was travelling over nagpur Mumbai expressway ME-2. The road was very good but all the bridges like culvert and all major bridges approaches which merges with the box the soil has been compacted due the which the road has been ducked. Due to which we need to break at every small bridge to prevent jerk.

Correct
The earthwork tends to settle for the first two or three years, due to change in the weather during summer, rains, winters. Things tends to settle down after that and then a resurfacing will be required. Same happened with Agra Lucknow expressway, but after 2 resurfacing it is smooth now.
@@sushar2000 yes sir I agree not only on this road in any other small additional highway or may be village roads this will happen due to phenomenon. Yet as per expressway this should not happen for so long. They should take steps immediately

It is because from 2019 Dec to 2022 work has stopped by Maharashtra govt .
Jitna Mumbai k kareeb aate hai utna land cost aur acquisition me problem zyada hojata hai. Isliye Mumbai k aaju baaju saare metro airport aur expressway projects delayed hai. Plus COVID and government change me ye saare project impact hogaye but abhi kaam kaafi speed se chal Raha hai. Next 1-2 years agar koi issues nahi hua to ye saare projects complete hojane chaiye

In china there's a rule that every road project has to be completed within 5 years of span ( Min lenth 400kms and above) otherwise contractors have to face the penalty. In India roads start to build when I'm in college and now I have children and it still going on. 😑😑😑

But yes, unhe mature hone mein atleast 5-6 years ka time lagta hai.
Planted nos. are many times multiple of trees that were uprooted for highways.

Completing jnpt to virar is partial work. Can you give us update of vadodra to virar because if that section is incomplete there is no use of completing jnpt virar.
Also if you can would like to know more about vadodra to MP border work status and the tunnels at Mukundra hill Rajasthan.
Sir.i don't agree with your point of virar jnpt sector not important.because major traffic starts from virar towards mumbai.secondly, population of virar region has gone exponentially near highway.vasai region is now major industries for people having factory in Mumbai due to connectivity.once virar jnpt section will open than major port traffic, traffic going towards pune, banglore and south will be diverted.in that case there will be no bottle neck in cities and highways.

He claims to be a site engineer on this project and was saying how the project is ruined, cement quality is sub par, roads will Crack in 10 years and how workers are nothing compared to China and all the machines they are using are from China.

@@rahulp7313 It's not really for commuters either. Why would you drive if you could take a flight or a train? Joyrides will account for some 1% of its use. It's mostly for industrial traffic - heavy traffic. There's another ulterior motive that has to do with conjoining Gujarat's economy to Delhi and Mumbai's (if you look at the alignment, it is clear that routing the expressway via nashik and indore after virar would have been faster.)
