Very kind of you and a way in the wilderness for sharing my post. Thank you for your support it means lots. Hope to chat with you in the comments. Have a great weekend.
It will definitely save some pennies for your pocket buddy. I only chose butane as the refill because it was the cheapest option at the time. You can also find this type of fuel canister with the same mix, but is somewhat more expensive.
Those cannisters are absolutely amazing they are the home bargains Butain isobutain mix, they work really well in cold weather I've used the in minus 5 and great! The butain only cans will struggle approaching freezing but ok for summer 👍
That Canister Adapter has been on the market for years!!!! I know this because I have been using it regularly since 2012, as well as other adapters to recharge 16.4oz small containers, but hey, many people still don't know about them.
Hey there thanks for stopping by. Yeah I have been using it for a while myself. I actually made a video on the same adapter about 3 years ago, but my channel was hacked so decided to make it again. Like you said it's been around for an age l, but not everyone knows about it so thought it would be useful. Thanks for stopping by bud. Take care.
Great hack, Ste! I didn't know those adapters existed. I've only seen the ones for the 1lb. propane canisters. Does the straight butane work well in cold and freezing temperatures? Thanks for the video. Happy New year. 👍
Hey Jeff great to hear from you pal. I did a vid on the same valve a few years ago, but as you know the channel was hacked and I lost all vids. I have used just the butane refills down to about -2 degrees here in the UK and they still ran fine. I'm not sure what temps they would stop working altogether, but as long as the canister is kept warm they should be fine. Thanks for dropping in bud. Hope everything is good your end. Take care.
I heat my living room on those butane cans🤣 30 cans for £28. Costs me 90p a day (evening) to heat. The only real difference between propane and butane is temp affected. Propane flows better at cold temps.
Subbed from a way in the wilderness! Keep up the good work!

Thanks Corley. It should hopefully help to save a few pennies.
Thanks, man! I don't even want to know how much ive spent on cannisters over the years.

Very useful tip there. Shame I just bought a 12 pack of Coleman canisters! Oh well live and learn.
That just means you have 12 canisters to refill when empty 😂 Take care fella.
I've got a few of these ste for my transfer But 🥁🥁🥁 I've never tried freezing the canister 🤔👍
Science!! 😂
