Edward lost his money, but Carl and Mother Estelle bailed him out thanks to Steve Urkel tellin' Aunt Rachel about it and when Carl came in, those guys were like Uh Oh and they tried to hustle the boys, but when they lost, Eddie was relieved, but he had to be Urkel's buddy for a week
Uncle Phil bailed Will Smith out after he lost the car and Thank GOD for Uncle Phil and Geoffrey breakin' out Lucille (his Pool Stick) and the hustler got HUSTLED when he lost $900 and got the car back, but unlike Eddie, Will got punished by Uncle Phil
Martin during the 4th Season, Martin got hustled by a woman and when he tried to tell Gina along with Tommy & Cole, it backfired on them and Gina locked Martin out and she went to tell Pam
and on The Steve Harvey Show, Romeo was ordered by Steve Hightower to deposit the Fine Arts Club Money, but Bullethead used his boneheaded ways to double the club's money by playing pool with a couple of ladies and got HUSTLED and so, to get the club's money back, Steve & Cedric used the African Pool Scam and got their money back and for punishment, Romeo & Bullethead were ordered to bring some old clothes and to meet them @ Mr. Hightower's place and he put them to work

I find it funny that a place like the "The Corner Pocket" had been in business for years, what with all the law breaking and hustling going on. Earlier in the episode Carl tells Eddie how he was a great pool player and earned quite a reputation at "The Corner Pocket"

Watching this episode now. Steve showed some street smarts. It took him 2 seconds to realize that Eddie was about to get hustled. Also found it odd that they were able to pull up Eddie's life story (even Judy's grades), yet weren't able to find out his father's occupation.
I always thought the same exact thing. I.guess that would count as a goof on IMDb.
But they quickly found out what it was when he and Estelle showed up to bail Eddie, Steve and Rodney out.
He knew who Boyd was because of his uncle, Cecil's history with the former. Hence, Steve tried to warn Eddie against playing him in a game of pool. Boyd has a reputation as a pool hustler

Johnny, it wouldn't be the same, nothing will ever be as unique as the late 80s early 90s ever again, plus the cast is now very old. It was a once in a lifetime era, it was special, it was the coolest of times, sadly it will never come back or be like that ever again, and believe me, no one is more sad and depressed about it than me., I so loved The Late 80s and early 90s like you wouldn't believe.

Jaleel may not have been a professional pool player at the time of this episode but, looking at his proper stance and grip before his shots, you can tell he received some kind of training for this scene in order to make it look as authentic as possible.
They don't make family shows like this anymore I remember growing up watching Family Matter with my family setting in the living room spending time talking and laughing and bonding yeah those were the good old days I also remember watching Happy Days, The Golden Girls, Step by Step, Cheers, Three's Companies the list goes on and on and on
