10:31. “Do one”. Amen my brotha!! Pick the one that matches best with your personality and be the best you can add it. I have yet to see a super successful loan officer and real estate agent but I see extremely successful real estate agents all the time and I see extremely successful loan officers all the time. Pick a lane stay in it. Focus and work hard and you can do great in these industries.
Idk I think your answer for the mlo and realtor at the same time is a bit over exaggerated because alot of the work needed to become a good mlo and realtor can overlap tremendously (prospecting being the highest). I think being certified in both could create more of a synergy for the individual than otherwise.
Im a realtor and thinking about also becoming a lender because literally I give my clients ti lenders and lenders reffer their clients to realtors so really not only can you do more for your client but now you get paid even more for ONE transaction. Yes PLEASE. Also because lenders expect agents to know what they’re talking about so at this point if I’m already having to learn the basics I might as well do the whole damn thing myself and not run into lenders coming back to me w regulation I didn’t know about. I’ll know exactly what to avoid, make more money, and close even sooner.
I'm getting my MLO license and am a licensed realtor. Looking forward to the potential with both. Work in NY's Hudson Valley and am open to referrals :-)
I don't know if I should be a real estate agent or loan officer. I'm good at numbers. It seems like it's easier to get referrals for a loan officer that's just my opinion.
Been watching your videos. Just subscribed. I’m learning lots from you. I’m considering a career switch in to the mortgage industry. Appreciate you sharing your wisdom.
I do not but i don’t see how it would be any different than becoming a new loan officer. If anything I feel like you would be ahead of the game since you are coming in with experience
Hello, I'm a student at San Jose State. I just paid for the 20hour SAFE program and am studying for the exam. However, I am unemployed and i noticed that I need to be employed prior to my license becoming "active". Is this true? If so, where should I look for employment?
I am a realtor I love real estate I want to focus on real estate but I want to make guaranteed income And the real estate market is volatile Do you think I should get my mlo license
Im training to be a loan officer right now but I think I’m more interested in becoming a real estate agent but it’s seems so difficult to get in the field without having the proper capital to start. What do you suggest ?
If you need to start part time that is okay. However, you are going to need to give it your all as it is not an easy business. As long as you are giving it your all and constantly working to be better you will succeed 👍
Is it possible to be a loan officer as part time. I am interested in real estate but wanted to start as a part time and learn and grow more. Your videos are very informative. Please advise as I am planning to start working.
How likely do you think AI will take over Loan Officer industry? I worked at retail banking and I think it's a shrinking industry and it's probably not worth me to make it a career since AI will take over a lot of entry-level jobs, plus shrinking the available positions of further career path in the next 20-30 years. It's unlikely I can use what I learned to start a business that related to banking, do you think in the next 20-30 years mortgage industry will be taking over by AI and is it worth it to invest all my time and resources to make a career, possibly a business of my own?
Everything will be done by AI eventually. Not something I really think about because 5 good years of mortgages and you can purchase some rental properties maybe open up a business and you’re set. Another important part here is the sales function of the LO. AI can already do the job for us, what it cant do is sell and originate. When things get rough sales people become more valuable. This is my opinion though lol
I am having a full time job with good benefits and recently I got a real estate license and working on MLO..Just want to get some commission to make up for my kids college and also keeping my full time job..Am I crazy?
No sir, if you can keep up with real estate then you should be doing both until you’re able to come up with enough money to fully transition into real estate full time (with a part time job outside for networking preferably)
There are a couple reasons but the main ones are I love numbers and the Loan Officer really is at the core of every transaction. The agent helps the buyer shop but the loan officer really helps them get into real estate. And I believe real estate is the best asset on the planet so I want to help people get into the game!
@@EnriqueGreatness You're welcome. I love your content. I am a realtor, and I just became a loan officer, so this helps a lot. I struggled with it and I kind of thought this way as well but it's great to hear that voice out loud. Don't ever stop doing videos 👍👊💪💕🔥

🙏
Both because when 1 does not pan out..the other will. There are seasons for both. I do.both for a broker..licensed by DRE and NMLS
I am both. It’s VERY HARD.

the ceiling for income is unlimited for agents but the expenses and failure rate is much higher.

Thank you! Really appreciate the support 🙏
I just passed the both tests. Could you recommend some good sponsors? I live in Orange, CA. Thank you so much
Congrats! Of course!! Send me an email 👍, info in description.
Hi, do you have any videos in regards to doing the transition from Real estate agent to a loan officer?
I do not but i don’t see how it would be any different than becoming a new loan officer. If anything I feel like you would be ahead of the game since you are coming in with experience
Are the test similar for real estate license and loan officer license?
Real estate test has a lower passing grade and people say it’s easier than NMLS
@@EnriqueGreatnessthank you so there are two different systems and one with a higher passing threshold…
Two different organizations. NMLS requires a 75 and real estate requires a 70 I believe

I would contact the NMLS. Their customer service dept. is super helpful.
I am a realtor I love real estate I want to focus on real estate but I want to make guaranteed income
And the real estate market is volatile
Do you think I should get my mlo license
Both will be volatile. All about mastering tough and easy markets
Im training to be a loan officer right now but I think I’m more interested in becoming a real estate agent but it’s seems so difficult to get in the field without having the proper capital to start. What do you suggest ?

Absolutely! Check out my video part time vs full time loan officer or first 30 days of being a loan officer
where should I get my MLO prelicense course? URGENT :)
Mortgage educators & compliance has a great online course
Excellent video, keep it up
Thank you for the support!
Do you recommend any books or study methods for getting real estate license?
Working on getting my real estate license right now actually.
I will post a video soon
That's awesome. I'm an MLO now looking to do the same. What crm do you recommend/use?
Follow up boss
I thought you couldn't get both comitions? The real estate and the loan officer?
Depends what company you work with, some allow it, others don’t.
You can’t here and I’m both so I had to choose. It’s sooooo much being a realtor.
Thank you
Very informative

Ok next question . Why did you choose to be a loan officer :)

Very good info

Why not be both?
You could. I would speak to someone that does both or has done both for more data. Most people I know tried both but it didn’t work out.
Great video! lol
