To me, the most relatable Disney moment is pretty much Mirabel’s “entire life” from “Encanto.” While she is loved by her entire family, she’s still considered the “black sheep” and has difficulty fitting in with them as a whole due to her lack of magic. That’s also been me my entire life as well due to my ADHD and Asperger’s. I’m loved by my family but due to my “differences,” I’m the oddball, ESPECIALLY with my immediate family and I always have to feel like I’m someone I’m not in order to fit in

oh yeah Tiana is the first we identify with wanting to push ourselves hard to achieve our dreams and when I saw the movie, all was set seemed almost modern like today and also the most relatable for me is Mirabel, because mostly in our families sometimes what we do to help is not enough no matter how hard we try and I identify with her pain.. And oh yeah the embarrasing blunders of Mulan and I laughed at Rapunzel's existential crisis, what is identifiable is that sometimes we are also so conflicted with ourselves jaja

Jasmine is my favorite and Aladdin was always my favorite to watch growing up. But as I got older, my love for books just kept growing and I became more like Belle! Also like EVERY book lover wishes to have THE LIBRARY! 2 of my favorites quotes that I live by daily is,

Yet I need to say something about The Princess and the Frog here.
My main dream is to officially become an author someday.
Yet there was a time in high school where I felt like I needed to jump on it when I was sixteen like if it didn’t come true can I really live well with my life?
My parents tried to teach me this but The Princess and the Frog really got me thinking too.
The lesson in that movie is even if you don’t get your main dream. In full reality you get something else that is your main dream that makes you happier and that’s what people mean when they say that dreams always come true yet at times they don’t come true either.
I admit there are other movies out there that I love far more than Princess and the Frog like Tangled for example.
But I always highly appreciated the film for teaching me that lesson at the right time when I needed it.
Who knew it come from a Disney movie of all things too? I mean Disney is filled with varieties of lessons but still! Lol
It helped me grow and mature in that way.
God bless The Princess and the Frog for doing that for me! EEP!🤩
Dig A Little Deeper is my favorite song for a reason and it’s a fun song which helps! Lol

As much as I love mirabel I think having a heroine who doesn’t correlate to princess in any way is amazing. She’s just a normal girl trying her best her family are also just normal people trying their best (minus the magic) but the encanto isn’t ruled by monarchy it seems that the townspeople want alma to lead them but the family also are the providers rather than the other way around. It’s a real sense of community that’s not often portrayed. Maybe encanto shows that you don’t need to have a special title such as princess to make a difference.

One relatable thing I see in disney princesses is: Little to no patience with others
For example, when Moana first met Maui and he was going on about being "Maui demigod of the wind and sea, hero to all" and thinks that he's Moana's hero. You can see that Moana was getting fed up with his ego and literally wacked him with her oar.
That is me when ever someone is testing my patience and it's so relatable 😂

On behalf of my mum, YES!!!!! She declares Surface Pressure as her life's theme song! Now she tells me stories of when she was ordered to take care of her younger brother (my uncle), despite him being almost a foot taller 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Suppose it's lucky I'm the younger sister, I'm the Mirabel of the family!!

In case you ever needed a shorthand explanation of how men and women watch movies:
WatchMojo would do a list of "10 Greatest Princess Moments"
MsMojo does a list of "10 Times Disney Characters Were The Most Like ME! 😊"

Me grown up and having some trouble watching Mulan's matchmaking scenes. Her makeup is definitely not Chinese (personally thought it looked more similar to Japanese style make up if not plz inform) while she is wearing some sort of Han dynasty looking garb 🤣

apparently the statue of the prince and the human knick-knacks were in the original story
disagree with you regarding teenage period/adolescence: in the Ancient World *there was no such concept* , and teenagers were *already considered adults*
