She'd most likely refuse. Unlike Tails who has an inherently tragic backstory ripe for bad influence, Amy has no real trauma. She's a good enough person even at a young age to say no to Eggman.

I think Maria’s death was just unavoidable, with her disease not being cured and the raiding of the ARK her dead was just impossible to prevent.
