Dude, I followed this tutorial, and I genuinely feel like I learned more than in the donut tutorial! I also love robots, so this is perfect for me! We need more simple, speedy tutorials like this!
@@gcstudios9091 haha thanks. The donut tutorial touches on almost every aspect of Blender, so it can get overwhelming. If you want a more focused modeling tutorial, check out Blenderguru's chair tutorial.
I’ve been dreading getting back into blender but this is honestly just what I needed. All the information and shortcuts that I forgot in one quick video. Please continue making this awesome content man
@@lubod2491 You can add glow in the post-processing compositor. You can search "Add Bloom Blender Compositor" on Google or TH-cam and follow a quick tutorial to achieve that nice glow effect!
Oh good, you are speaking with ADHD speed. There are too many videos i need to run at 1.5x speed for me to stay engaged with learning. Crushcourse lets go!!
1. Make sure your body is scaled properly. This is a super common issue and should be the first thing you do when diagnosing issues. Not applying scale will make modifiers act strange, especially Bevel and Solidify. Press control-A and Apply scale in object mode. 2. Check for flipped normals. Here is how to do that: th-cam.com/video/qJvvDHyK14Y/w-d-xo.html Once you find out how to see the normal direction (faces will turn blue and red), make sure that all the normals are correct (blue faces outwards, red faces inwards). You can press alt-N in edit mode to flip normals. 3. Make sure you don't have edge loops too close to each other, including the edge of the object. That can cause issues with the bevel modifier, which will create even more edge loops and cause overlapping issues, which will affect the shade smooth. If this is the case, don't use the bevel modifier; instead, try a subdivision surface modifier. If that doesn't look good, then maybe try using a bevel shader, which is a way to bevel without any cleanup: th-cam.com/video/BCjw5FcHO_g/w-d-xo.html 4. Make sure that all faces are connected, and that you don't have disconnected faces. If you have overlapping vertices, edges, or faces, that can cause a lot of issues. You can try selecting everything in edit mode and pressing M, then clicking "Merge By Distance" to get rid of any potentially overlapping geometry.
Very informative without wasting any time. Exactly as a TH-cam tutorial should be.
glad you thought it was helpful!

Thank you. This was a nice recap video. I like that you kept all your shortcuts in the bottom left so we can review/confirm quicker.

fxck, this amazing course take me 6h to understand. Nocluse > college course.
will there be a tutorial on how to texture?
This is nice, but even slowed down it is still shorter than those tutorials that take like 15 videos
the most technically impressive thing someone in blender can do is deleting the default cube because the default one is the worst >:(
