- in today's video, we go about replacing the front wheel bearing on the Massey Ferguson 35 and father Phil also adds a new dynamo to the tractor. i was supposed to be doing the repairs but father Phil is incapable of standing back and letting me do it.

Happy easter to all on farm. I am same as father phil. Its hard to watch someone doing job when you know exactly how to do it! (age thing) Build father phil shed for all his projects. You look after cattle & when you break things father phil can repair them!!! Great video as usual phil. Keep up the good work.
Fergie spanner fits the hub cap, changed bearing on front of the
TEF20 other month and was having trouble finding a charging problem, was the shunt in the amp meter fitted new one sorted😀🚜 joys of running the old one's. Cheers Phil keep them coming 👍

Father Phil, I do the same thing to my kids and say that exact thing too haha. It is hard to stand back and let them do the job even when you know they can do it.
Supposed to fill the cap with greese. A stillson is a better job for taking off that cap.
Clean the spades up on the regulator before ordering one
Great little tractor, still well able to earn its keep. Just needs a set of headlights so it can work after dark!

Whenever ye are loosening hubs or studs for wheels, ye should open them up loose and then jack up the tractor

I had the same problem when I changed the wheel bearing on my 674 from agriline a slight bit of play in there but I loctite it in place

Try polorising the dynamo
A 35 doesn't have a grease nipple in the hub cap. The 35x had 1 in the cap the same as 135.
Was the engine done in her when she was restored
I reckon he's right about the front wheels and axle being off a 20, the "hub cap" is out past the wheel on our 35

Go back a couple of videos and I'm sure they said it's a 35 with some 35x parts, think the video is "is it a 35 or 35x"
Ud no by the sound tat she is a 35 not an x
They did a vintage thursday explaining it better, but in short it was a late model 35 so had the diesel pump and engine set up similar to 35x spec, however was a 35 going off the serial number, casting numbers, etc.
It's common enough for late on the line tractors to receive some upgrades from their replacements before they've been officially phased out
