Put it back together to a nice working little tractor . No need to do a nut and bolt restoration on her, just a little tidy up and you will be fine Phil.

the heater plug will smoke (inside the manifold) when starting as it sprays diesel onto a hot coil to make a flame to be drawn into engine aiding cold starts.

Bring the 135 to the stage where the engine is cooling itself and leave a list of jobs and spare parts in a safe place and do them over the next few months. When you start using the 135 new things are going to pop up that are more important like maybe the battery is not getting charged because of poor earthing etc. The smoke coming from the glow plug definitely needs looking at now and should be simple to swap out. Take care.

Time is on the clock, so better to get to use it and see what other things need to be sorted, order the parts and put them on the shelv, and tackle it when you have some time for it :)

Get all electrics done. Get a in line fuse on that main live wire from the starter to the ignition. I. Hate how these new wire looms done have them. Get all electrical bits finished up anyway and not having unconnected spades just hanging around it.

Great video Phil Never by pass that start safely switch Too risky Get a loan of father Phil’s Multy meter and test light make up a couple of light jumper leads with crocodile clips Your safety start switch might only be dirty terminals Take it out give it a good wash in petrol also if there’s a spacer washer try a skinnier one But don’t leave if off

Hi Phil great video and well done . I would order the parts . Get working on the grass horrow for a few nights but use the 135 to go topping then as soon as you can get the 135 back in and finish it because if you don't do it now it will never get done.

The wire your a bit lost on could be for the safety switch on the gearbox so she will only start when the high low stick is in neutral!.. there should be a S on your nob in the middle position as far as I can remember!. Hope this helps.👍

Get it back together running and do the rest when you are not rushed and enjoy taking your time. Having your first tractor running and cleaned up should be a time when you are not pressed for time. You will have much more satisfaction without the pressure of other things that have to be done. The tractor sounds great.

When you get around to servicing the back end changing oil and the filter, if it was me I'd put a new blow off valve or technical name hydraulic relief valve ,in it's a little valve that looks like the female end on a grease gun that goes onto a grease nipple, it's only small and costs a few euros under 20 but it could potentially save the lift cover from cracking straight under the seat, further down the line as life moves along, second hand lift covers of tractors can't be gotten that easy when you're looking they are around 600 complete second hand with everything you need, you can buy a bare block new lift cover and build parts of your old one into it, but sometimes its difficult getting shaft for draft control out of the old one and fitted into new one, replacing that valve with a new one could save you alot of hassle in future,
