- A run up the hill from this years 2021 Willunga hillclimb in our modified MK7 Ford Fiesta ST running our Fiesta Division Performance new equal length turbo manifold and Titanium race exhaust.
After a total of 5 runs we ended up.
1st outright 2WD for the event
1st in class: modified 2000cc - 3000cc
7th outright car for the event
New PB 1.25.61

epic build and driving. I thought I could hear the S280 distinct sound. Seems a lot of the question I would ask have already been answered, so have you done anything extra in terms of fuelling or engine block mods / forged rods or pistons? also what kind of induction kit / intake are you using and you using any kind of heat resistant gold wrap etc in the engine bay? pretty common in 350+ bhp race builds I think
Thanks for your kind words, has AUX fuel, engine is completely standard, has one of our NDR fab/Fiesta Division Performance intake kits on it, no gold heat tape in the bay at this time.
@@Team_NDR Wow very fast reply. I appreciate it. Very impressive and I've wanted to build something like this for years. Maybe it'll happen or even just stage 2 or fully stock with some induction / exhaust mods, these things seem like beasts. Only ever had the 1.0 140 ST-Line edition, not the full ST but last car was written off around 2 and a half years ago. Going to subscribe to follow your future runs

@@tristan3612 it is just one of the generic aftermarket screens available for these cars, can be found on eBay or various online stores, just be mindful you will loose some OEM functionality in swapping over to one

That was some great driving! Looked fun! i'd love to be able to do something like that with my fiesta, also what screen are you running? i got sync 1.1 so idk if sync 3 has those gauges but i'm guessing it's a custom screen no?

The screen is an aftermarket android unit running a android based app with the gauges on it.

What size tyres do you run? I'm thinking of modding my wheel arch and front wheel arch section to stop the rub. Also what shocks do you run and spring rate?
These are just 205/40/17 tyres still, some larger tyres would definitely help us a lot with this car, modding the arches is likely the only way to achieve this.
We run the Meister R coilover''s with their out of the box spring rate of 5/3KG

7/3 kg will work better on road. 5kg on front to soft. Roads in q.l.d. are crap. Your car is very fast. H.p. ? Brave driving.

Wanted to ask what size sway bars are you running. Another question is what suspension and chassis upgrades give you the best bang for buck.
I want to do a complete and comprehensive overhaul of the steering and suspension, but a few pointers would be nice, I want to beat the focus rs in my group lol
Standard sway bar, best thing you can do is spend and get a good set of coil overs for it, we run the Meister R GT1s in this and they are fantastic.
A good plated LSD will do a lot for corner speed and grip if you haven’t already done one

That is using an aftermarket screen and the torque app on it.

Isn't this only ~1600cc? Is it swapped to a Focus engine or something?
But yeah, well done! It sounds awesome (I didn't know a FiST could sound that good honestly).
With our racing when a car is turbo or supercharged our engine capacity is multiplied by 1.6x making the fiesta a 2.2L technically.

Im sorry to ask something about the radio again, but can you please give me the head unit model and stuff you used? Ive been searching and only find chinese stuff on ebay. I know the factory radio is integrated to the car with settings and stuff. Not sure if you relocated it or what. If you're willing to help i can give you my email if thats easier. My car is a U.S. spec. Anyhow your car sounds great and definitely looks rowdy. Looking forward to more content!

Mate - pretty good - my driving advisor would tell you to sit 4 inches closer to the wheel so you are steering with your arms and not your shoulders, and don't "feed-the steering-wheel" - hands stay 10 and 2. I didn't believe him either, except it worked and BTW he is the factory test driver for Porsche. Good steering though - nice and smooth - smooth is fast. :)

We played around a fair bit with seating position to get it as close to comfortable as possible with this car and like all things it is a bit of a compromise, we settled with what worked best between pedal reach/feel and steering reach.
@@Team_NDR You might have to move the steering wheel closer. Lol - bit difficult in a road car though :)

A life threatening experience without a roll cage. Add a decent race seat and harnesses, and watch your times instantly drop by many seconds.
Every time any of us decide to get in a car it can be a life threatening experience whether it be with normal road conditions or a race, we do all these things knowing the risks, however we appreciate your concern.
We already have a good race seat and harness in this car.
