It’s real ... you don’t know what you’re talking about. The Pacific NW is like this. Being from BC I know. It’s not just Seattle. Now, does that mean you won’t make friends? No. But it is real.
How is that different from any other city on the planet? Big cities with tons of people mean that people are going to be cold. Small towns value people more so they're open and welcoming.
This Seattle Freeze is very real. Otherwise why does everyone mention it. I just moved out here a couple days ago frim Las Vegas, and I totally see what people mean. The people here are too serious. I dont like small talk myself but they dont even smile or greet you over here. I'm introverted myself too but not this much. Geez. There are some exceptions. Some people are different but overall the people here are so cold. They don't even look at you. No disrespect, it's just that i noticed it too. Hey Seattle, why so serious?

Well every city has a stigma. Im from NY and they we’re rude.
Seattle freeze is so real. Looking forward to moving! I’ve moved all over and this is the toughest place I’ve lived. So many people ghosting.
