God Bless You! I'm so happy you are appreciating the incredible recordings, composing, and vocalizing on this life changing album of Elton John's.I can never get enough of this record. I talk about it with most everyone I meet - especially if I understand they are into music. I have never heard anyone else's recordings that match the depth and "purpose" that Elton and his band has done, here. And, I would say, on most every other album they have produced since. My brain, mind and nervous system is always DELIGHTED when I listen to Elton's music - and I agree that he is one of the absolute best vocalists I have ever listened to. So much fun and amazement to listen to Elton!!!!!

Good bang for the buck pressing, but not all analog unfortunately... RL was using a digital chain back when this was cut.
I hear most people still prefer the original UK DJM, and I also hear good things about the old MFSL. Heard alot of people complain the Speakers Corner is overly bright, but the real sleeper seems to be the the 1/2 speed Direct Disk Labs - Super Disk from the 80's, which is what I'm on the hunt for personally. I have vinyl rips of all these, but even the OG CD sounds great, IMHO. Anyway, _Lots_ of different options out there. :)

Thanks for the comment and the information. I'll have to see how rare those Direct Disk Lab pressings are. You are correct in that this version is a very good bang for the buck! Thanks for watching.
