- Are you having trouble freezing panes (rows and columns) in Excel for Mac?
I was too, until I found the solution... it's so simple too lol!
Set View to Normal
(freeze panes doesn't work in 'Page Layout' view). - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
DUDE!!! this is the thing I've been looking for for a few weeks... casually looking. I was selecting the row index and column headers not the cell I wanted to freeze!
THANK YOU!
thank you, thank you !! that was my 'greyed out Freeze Pane issue'
I was going bonkers trying to freeze the top 4 rows and you just cured me ! I had page layout checked and don't know why.

hahaha freaked me out! I thought it was my cat meowing lol
Hi! Thought your video was great. I'm in NORMAL layout. I can freeze the top row but cannot free the leftmost A date column. Did that solution happen to pop into your head since you made the vid? Thanks!
Thank you! I was about to rip my hair out 😂
you scroll over right away to a "freeze panes" icon on the toolbar, I don't have that icon showing at all. Of course everybody is fixing the simple I WANT THE COLUMN HEADER ROW TO STAY FIXED SO I CAN SCROLL DOWN AND ADD DATE WITHOUT HAVING TO SCROLL BACK UP TO SEE WHAT COLUMN I"M IN. I did this myself about 10 years ago, but I bumped my head on a cat meowing and I[m amnesia.
