Under $200 plus $80 in tools to properly setup. I got the 400m version and had to buy a notched flatness gauge, radius gauges, and sanding block. then had to level the frets, and reset action height, also had to lube tuners and tighten knob screws operate right. still a nice looking guitar but didn't expect to need such an involved setup. i guess my first warning was one is the pickup guard/cover was installed upside down.
Wow! your experience surprised me. I didn't have any issues with either guitar out of the box. sorry you had to do all that. I checked both of mine right out of the box and even the intonation was spot on. How is yours now?
Still putting it back together. Just finished fret leveling and much its better now. It's a nice guitar but Fesley didn't do a very good job at setup. guess the quality control people went home when this one was made. To counteract fret buzz they had the action way too high. The guy over at scar my guitar wasn't too impressed either. If I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have purchased it. But the order was placed before I came across his review. And to be honest what I had to do is pretty much what I call general maint. Sure I could have played it as is even with the intonation off. but it wasn't easy to play @@RJsCave
@@drpc98014 I'm glad you were able to save the purchase. I agree, for me what you experienced wouldn't have been a deal breaker either. it's still a solid guitar with better than average tuners and pickups at this price point. I saw Seans video too. he didn't like the logo being everywhere and his bridge was mounted about a 1/4" out of scale. This is why I buy from amazon mostly. they have the worlds easiest return policy. Other than guys like you n me, people that get into this situation should always return the guitar.
@@RJsCaveYeah I really like the business model Amazon uses. If whole goods were closer I might have been tempted to do a return. But my purchase was based on 60% look/style/etc and 50% cost. Speaking of cost, Ever try out one of those temu acoustic guitars for around 50$ ? i sorta like the blue/black one. soldiering on, i noticed the pickups are quite low. to fix i need new hardware. wonder what other surprises i'll find? oh, here's one the bays that hold the electronics is un-shielded, so $ 10 for a roll of copper
@@dennysguitarchannel3422 several other people noticed this as well. After seeing all the comments I examined the guitar add the video. In person the guitar is fine. So I assume what everyone has been seeing is just a trick of the camera angle

It's corts new chinese factory house brand so they can afford to give you more and stay competetive. if you have a few $$$ more i'd say get a Tease guitar but they don't have a dinky
