A shame that people are apparently having bad dealer experiences with Hyundai and Kia, even Genesis. People on savagegeese were saying that the dealerships were so bad that it made the brands irrelevant to them. Once again, when you consider the good quality of Genesis compared to the competition, it’s an even bigger shame that their dealers apparently don’t reflect the quality of their cars.
I second this. I am actively in the market to replace my 2019 Volvo S60 with something in the same class that’s faster with a V6 (which Volvo doesn’t have). The Genesis dealer experience here in Miami is laughable. The dealers are shared with Hyundai and the Sales People use your typical high pressure sales tactics that they use on economy car buyers (like Hyundai). The feel of everything is a far cry from the “luxury” experience one would expect from cars in that price range. Every dealership experience has declined since Covid with lack of loaners and (IMO) lack of care because of other people willing to pay BIG $$$. But, when you have to advertise your concierge/valet pick up service for getting routine maintenance done because your after sales/service experience is THAT bad…
Genesis is far better than Audi, BMW, and Mercedes Benz when it comes to build quality at this point. Seems like every current vehicle from those brands creaks like it’s a cheap toy.

i work at a kia dealer as a technician, the build quality on the new stingers are terrible, same with the sportage and sorento

Between the two, G70 all day. The Q50 is on a 10 year old platform. Maybe look at the Red Sport 400 if you go that route
