  • Lots of Scenery Plus some tips for your Forza and any bike really. I did put up my drone at lake vyrnwy and other places but the footage never came out. Never mind it will do for another day.Primarily the reason for these video's are for my family and friends to look and also anyone else who like to look at them. It's just in case anything happens to me, so they can say, that's what he looked like, LOL!!

Thanks Danny, enjoy your life and I hope you enjoy your bike as much as I did. More adventurous coming from me. I can't wait to get out again. Take care out there Danny and look after yourself on the road. Remember this if you can mate. You should never worry about the things you cannot change mate. Take care on the roads there are all sorts of nutters out there and always give yourself time to react to situations on the road. That means stay back and give yourself room so you've got that time to react mate. I was a bus instructor for years and that's what I used to teach. You have to have time to react especially with a bus. All the best Danny, sorry I've gone on a bit 👍

Just come across this and I really enjoyed it. Recently bought a 2015 Forza 300 as being a biker for years and knocking on, the hips were starting to protest getting my leg over :-) so thought I'd try a scooter and I'm loving it.

I find the Forza perfect for the Spanish mountain roads and towns perched on steep hillsides, but the lack of a handbrake is a bit of a nuisance. It´s very easy for the side stand to roll over centre if you park on a slight incline.
I made a clip from sleeved coat hangar wire to hold the rear brake lever against the handlebars, and that seems to be working well.

Hi Kerry, yes I know what you mean. I looked at the 400 Xmax for that reason but apart from a few things I absolutely love my Forza. To say I'm enjoying my scooter is an understatement I'm loving it, much to the annoyance of my biker buddies lol

Nice ride, my playground. I rode my xmax250 to spain/portugal and back several times. Cruising at 65-70. Dont need a 1000cc to get pleasure from biking. Guy who bought it off me was French, living in Manchester. 2 days after the sale he photographed himself with the bike in Marseilles.
Only a 250 single, super reliable, mine was a 2007 with 30k when i sold it. Running perfectly, sold sept 2021, miss it so much.

Great comment Mjt. I love riding in Wales and in Scotland so hopefully I will do some riding there soon after France health permitting. The main reason for going to France is to put some flowers on my Great Uncles grave over there, it's part of my bucket list. My folks haven't been able to get over there so I said I would go beings I've retired now. I'm having a blast with my Forza I'm enjoying it if I go 30 mph or 70mph. Take care all the best to you and thanks for the response 👍

I have the last of the Forza 300s, bought it new in April this year, cracking bike but agree with you about the suspension and the seat being to firm. I've got 4500 miles on the clock now and the seat does soften up a bit with use. The road where you said was your favourite spot, is that through the Berwyn Mountains? I did a similar route back in July and took in Lake Vyrnwy and Pistyll Rhyader waterfalls. Live in Wyre Forest area of Worcestershire and about the same as your journey - couple of hundred miles. The Forza generally is a cracking bit of kit and comes into it's own on the Welsh twisties. Compliments the Royal Enfield I also have and the Honda is the go to bike when I want to munch some miles. Great video by the way, look forward to the next one.👍🙂

Thanks for the great comments Jonathan, I am hoping the seat will give a bit. I'm not sure if it's the berwyn Mountains but just love it there. I used to spend hours and hours up soaking up the quietness of the place. I'm thinking of changing my front fork springs as well before the Belgium trip. Hopefully I can get over there! pandemic permitting. All the very best to you

Been to Lake Vyrnwy...on a tandem cycle weekend. Swallow Tandems used to be based their and we brought a custom built tandem. This was in 94. Pretty round there. We had ridden there from Oswestry. I'd like to get a Forza, but as I don't drive I'd have to do a DAS or do a CBT and get a 125 Forza to start with. The only thing which would be annoyng about 125cc that is that the 300/350 is not a huge amount more...But if would mean having to do a DAS which would add to the cost. Plus insurance will be more. yes the 300/350 better for more distance raod work...but overall cost.... considerbale compared to the 125cc. Thing is with Winter now coming upon, I don't fancy the idea of doing training in poor weather and poor light. So might wait till early summer. As it is..Im very short so a big scooter like the Forza might just be to much for me anyway...oh well...

Hiya, check out my other video. It was a review on the Forza. The actual shocks were purchased from a company in Italy called WRS. If you go onto their web site and type in the search for shocks for a Forza you should get up the page you need. The shocks in question are from a company called YSS SUSPENSION. Hope this helps.

.Hi Boggles, great question and great to hear from you. I've had no problems at all. I'm 19 stone and the wife is no light weight either.i was going to get a T Max or the BMW 400 GT instead but the servicing costs on both were a major factor in making my decision as to what bike I had. Very pleased with it. Service every 6 thousand miles. You can feel the difference of course with someone on the back as with any bike but I found the power ok no probs. Hope this helps all the best.👍

Thoroughly enjoyed this video with the quiet roads and the stunning scenery, thank you. Lake Vyrnwy is now on my list of places to visit on my Forza 350, but will probably have to wait till next spring. It's two and a half hours from where I live near Rochdale, so a day trip is possible, but a weekend away would be better. I bought the Forza in September after years of riding large BMW touring bikes, and I love it. I get as much enjoyment riding it as I have done from any previous bike. One of the best things I like is the weight, or should I say, the lack of it. It's makes it so much fun to ride in my opinion, and it's so comfortable. At 69 I'm beginning to appreciate things like comfort and ease of use! I'm definitely going to use it for touring, and a trip to the south of France next year is sat least one I'm looking forward to, as it's been a while since I last crossed the Millau Viaduct on a bike. I've already fitted the Givi top case which I already had, a Givi touring screen, Oxford heated grips (easy to fit), and a BMW Navigator sat nav which I took off my R1200 RS. I've even managed to adapt and fit a set of Givi pannier frames intended for the Forza 750, which gives optional storage, though I doubt now that I'll ever need it. Like you, I'll upgrade the suspension soon.
The Forza 350 doesn't have the power of my previous bikes, but I don't miss it. It has enough power to do what I want it to do, and nowadays I'd prefer to sit back and enjoy the ride at a more relaxed pace than I used to. Being retired like you, gone are the days when I had to try and squeeze a tour into a 2 week holiday before getting back to work. Instead I can now set off and come back home when I feel like it, instead of rushing everything. 😃
So thanks again, and I will watch any other videos you have posted, or may do in the future. You have another subscriber!
    Ray.

Hi Ray, great to hear from you. I'm hoping to get to Belgium in May and have booked it through Air b&b. Iv'e just heard my back box is in at Honda so I'm going up to Honda to get it fitted. I've had it on back order with them. Ray just like you I get a tremendous amount of pleasure from my Forza. I've had tons of bikes but I'm enjoying every minute with the Forza. If it's just a short journey or a longer one I've got a constant smile on my face. Anyway when I got abroad next year I have to put some flowers on a grave in France then it's up to Brugge for the remainder of the week. If COVID-19 cases rise then I'll have to cancel then re-book once it gets a bit better. Like you Ray I'm enjoying the lack of weight and I find the scooter very flickable. I have a tracker on it as well Ray it's called Moni moto. It's a stand alone unit and it's one of the best things I've got for the bike. Check it out, no wiring in the batteries last 2 years. There is a subscription but it's only £30 odd a year. Peace of mind I'd say. Anyway as I say great to hear off you and thank you so much for subscribing, all the very best to you mate.
