I got a Ride The Lightning shirt when I was 15 years old. I did not know that skeleton on the shirt version of the album cover GLEW in the dark in neon where the guys in the electric chair until I was at a fun house at 16 years old. But noticed it by accident in one of the mirrors of that place! (Maybe this random fact could help me win some sort of Rock and Roll "Jeopardy" game or whatever.)
That’s a cool story! 🤘 The Ride the Lightning album cover is iconic, and it’s fascinating that the skeleton on your shirt glows in the dark. It’s like a hidden surprise waiting to be discovered! If you ever find yourself in a Rock and Roll “Jeopardy” game, this tidbit could definitely earn you some bonus points. Keep rocking! 🎸🔥
1:30 I thought I'd do a lot about Metallica. But I did not know about the green colored instead of blue version of Ride the Lightning misprint of theirs abroad!
The green-colored version of Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning” is a fascinating rarity. Back in 1984, when the album was released, there was a misprint by Bernett Records (the label that released it in France). These green versions are highly sought after by collectors. Only around 200 green copies exist, making them quite valuable. If you happen to have one, hold onto it! 🎶💚Who knows, it might become even more valuable over time! 😊🔥
Interesting 🎉
Thanks. Cheers!
Been a fan since the 80s
Wow...true fan. They are legends and nothing else matters :)
It was seeing the video for "One" in 1988 that got me back into listening to hard rock and metal again at 15-yrs old. it was easy to build a record collection then especially into my late teens and early twenties because I can find any band at some of these used record stores for $2 a cassette (even though I was mainly buying CDs since 1990)
Big fan🎉
I love them!
