- Now that Conference Championship weekend is over, a record 13 SEC teams line up to get their bowl invites. The only way to do that is to attend the hottest event in the country; the SEC Bowl Dance.
The addition of the "Hope" character was a brilliant move. As a big UGA fan, I can say that their interaction is 100% accurate.....

Original Bowl Dance is my all-time fav. So to see it come back around had me worried that the 2nd effort would be lacking. SEC Shorts, I'm sorry I doubted you.

How yall come up with quality scripts and get everything practiced and shot in about 24 hrs at the most is unbelievable. I love SEC shorts.
I thought about that too. They probably have a lot of the one liners from previous games in a basket…. Then they probably come up with a scenario for both a win or a loss the week before, and add specifics after the game, if that makes sense.
@@LeskoBrandon2x it does make sense, but even still it would be hard to make those fit together all while making them fit with the current events. Then they have to turn that into a script, gather talent together, do multiple shoots, make script tweaks while shooting, cut and edit all of that footage, then finally post it. They do all of that while keeping the production value top notch and the material topical and very funny. Some games aren't over until 11pm or 12am on Friday, but it never fails that when you wake up on Sunday morning there's a new video. These people are extremely good at what they do.

This might honestly be the best SEC Shorts video of all time. Gotta be one of the longest and absolutely hilarious throughout. It’s impressive what they can do every week in such a quick turnaround period, and to get a 5 minute video that is high quality that fast is ridiculous. Props to SEC Shorts for making quality content on a weekly basis.

@@justinwilliams1127 - Yes, usually it is very incredible how they do that based on the game events that happened over the weekend, but I’m sure they’ve been working on parts of this for a “long” time and edited a few more current events in on Sunday. Still, you’ve got to love the amount of work and effort these guys put in. Definitely professional grade!
Most of the cost of this one was finding the old prom dresses.
And the fact that they get these done in 48 hours.
They've outdone themselves this time. To include every team (including Vandy) in this is pure comical genius. So many hysterical one liners. How they did this with such a quick turnaround is amazing.

As a Tennessee fan, I agree it has been a crazy season. Our hurry up offense hung 17 points on the vaunted Georgia defense and showed Alabama the cracks in the Bulldog armor. We rolled over a Kentucky team that was on fire at the time. We had a tough loss to your Gators and an even more brutal defeat at the mustard bowl vs Old Miss. Drink up my friend, and I'll race you back to the top 25.

I knew Hope would come back after that SEC Championship. The way that the Gamecocks and the Duke Mayo Bowl spoke to each other was spot on my feelings as a Gamecock fan. Hilarious video as always.
The Lincoln Riley and Texas A&M jokes were both hilarious.
As a Texas fan the only reasons I'm excited about being in the SEC are renewing the A&M rivalry and being included more in SEC shorts (even if most of it is making fun of Texas!)
Sad that I am graduating so I won’t get the experience the A&M - Texas rivalry at Kyle Field.
if anything this season has taught us a healthy respect for a sense of humor haha. I look forward to the SEC. We'll take our lumps at first but it'll force us to get better or continue to featured in SEC shorts. Either way it'll be fun.

I watched FUNNYMAINE earlier this morning and I couldn't wait until SEC SHORTS dropped their new video.
This video had it all:
1. A remake of an old SEC Shorts video.
2. More jabs at Texas and Oklahoma.
3. Every SEC team gets recognized (Good or Bad)
4. We even got a cameo from "Hope" to continue giving Georgia nightmares.
This was the BEST SEC SHORTS video of the year.
My favorite was OU and UT picking up their “Ls,” but I went to Baylor, so…

First a blizzard in Hawaii, now Hot Birmingham Bowl? IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT.
As a Gator fan, I can relate to how Georgia fans feel. How? Well back in 1995 the Gators lost their last game to FSU, but a series of fortunate events put them both back into the Championship game, the Gators won handily. So dance with hope, it does happen 👍
