I agree with some of your points. I have alot of the DML stuff from Makita and it's impressive (especially the 809). I had a few team red lights in the past but they all broke. I haven't had a failure with my Makita stuff.
I agree with your choices here. I'm only in Makita 18v and M12 tool lines, I have the Makita shop vac and while it's been reliable, I'm not satisfied with the suction. It should have been a 36v x2 tool with a lot more power and a 2' longer hose. My 36v leaf blower is a beast and a half, put that motor in a shop vac and you'll have something. You didn't mention any XGT tools which, while I don't have any myself, I can't imagine being a good value. The batteries cost so much and there's so few tools. As with their 12v line I'm just not seeing the ROI. I bought a Makita LXT to M18 battery adapter so I can start buying some of the M18 tools that have better value or performance, such as the inflator and their 120v inverter. I'm also going to get the adapter for Ryobi tools since those are so commonly discounted. Other than batteries that came in kits, all my batteries are aftermarket, LXT-compatible. Some have performed fantastically, surviving use as hammers, being left out in the snow and rain, and generally getting knocked around for years. Some have charging issues in my slow charger. Aftermarket battery chargers I've tried have been less picky.
The spot light I will disagree, the feel and light the Makita is better I think. Plus I got it a few years ago before you heard anything about it was 79$ . I got it as a free tool with a starter kit . Then a few months later video’s start popping up and so does the price watch it jump in a few days to the price it is now.
I agree with all of the above, I myself own a lot of makita tools and batteries but the price these days for bare tools and batteries are just fukin ridiculous, seriously thinking of changing brands. Cheers mate.
I bought the Bosch vacuum tool only for $70 or $80 on clearance a couple years ago. At $224 I'd want 2 higher amp batteries and charger or at least one high amp battery and charger. Makita and Milwaukee think their name is enough to justify high prices
i got the makita 40v inflator for free and it works fine but the fact that there is no lock on it is ridiculous. They dropped the ball on that. What is the point of having a set point if you have to hold the trigger? Also you can get 2 packs of the 6AH batteries for like $300 Canadian.
I picked up the 12v CXT drill kit with 2 batteries and a charger for $99 in the clearance section of Home Depot. It’s a nice little drill but not worth $200.
In Denmark the vacumcleaner is the same price as a milwaukee. I have the milwaukee at work and makita at home. Makita is just better. The indicator is outside on the milwaukee indside

I own the makita shop vac and love it. But mine was only 90 bucks tool only. 🤔
Wish I could find that deal!

Ive had the vacuum for years. Its great and durable. My only complaint has been the battery indicator stopped working early on.

Thanks for watching!

Makita 6.0 ah battery in the Philippines is only USD 88.

Yeah not having a lock on on the inflator is ridiculous. I use a "cable cuff" with my 18 volt inflator.

12v Circ Saw is pants too - not enough power.
12v drill is nice but a little pricey, the screwdriver is good DF032 model.
I’ll argue with anyone on the 23 gauge pin nailer being bad. I have the set of 16,18&23 gauge and it’s the best out of the 3

.. you talk way too much about how Dewalt etc cost way less... than Makita. How much work actually do you do is the Real question for anyone
