Amazing driving. The car sounds great. What stands out to me is how SMOOTH this run was. It almost felt slower than it was. I mean that in the best way possible. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Clearly - because this set a record. Well done!
This is my kind of driving. Im looking for a good back road car. Love the 1LE and it looks capable...in your hands at least. Have you done much mods or is it really that fast stock?
I’m confused with the SCCA hillclimb safety requirements I read which seem to have as mandatory a rollcage? Could you perhaps elaborate? Here you are using a half-cage or none?
SCCA Requires "Safety level 2". That means you need a roll bar at a minimum. I have an RSR 4 point roll bar in my car. If you google SCCA Safety level 2 you will find the exact document with further detail.
Lap time wise there is 0 difference, DSSV just reduces body roll a bit and are stiffer overall, only necessary for A7 Hoosiers or stickier. I would stick with magride for any other tire.
This one is part of the Appalachian hill climb series by scca. You can google that, the sign up is under motorsportreg. There are 2 more events this year in 2 different locations (dragon and flagrock) If you click on the results link under the vid description it will take you to the website.

Awesome! As a fellow 1LE owner who drives hard - Hats off to you!
Solid driving dude! After watching that I definitely need lessons! Lol!
Wow - I also drive a ‘22 SS 1Le in HPDE events - you are getting it done ….no doubt about it 🏁

Mostly stock. Main improvements are tires and lighter wheels. Stock power and exhaust.
Showing them how it’s done 🤝👑
man, the way you make that thing rotate is awesome.
I drive a V6 1LE, never driven it this hard but id love to try at some point
Well done !👏👏👏
Looks like you're driving on ice, at the limit!

It's Time Attack on steroids

Impressive driving. How much of a difference is the car on the DSSV versus stock mag ride?

Thanks for your assessment- Detroit Speed offers a lot of body stiffening components
very impressive
What's the fastest time for a dodge on this course?
No idea, your best bet is to click on the appalachianhillclimb website and look over the results. The link is in the video description.
Did he finish with a low fuel indicator on ? 😂
Nice driving !
lol yeah trying to reduce the weight on hillclimbs is pretty important. Always try to minimize fuel on my faster attempts.
What do i look up to find these events?
