I also found this foundation looks/works better without a primer. I'm glad you mentioned that. Whenever I tried to wear it with a primer it got very patchy on me. I use the Belif face moisturizer Aqua Bomb and this wears very nicely on top of it.
I definitely think it really evens out everything and looks amazing on camera, I just didn't like how it wore throughout the day! I hope it works for you-- it has so much potential for oilier skin types I think!
I have very dry skin as well and have been using bareMinerals complexion rescue. I wanted to try to see how this foundation would work so I bought a bottle yesterday. Luckily after viewing some of the different TH-camrs describe that this Foundation is a bit dry I was ready. I always moisturize my face in the morning with vanicream lotion and I mix it with Aragon oil. This really helps to keep my face moisturized all day long so I did the same this morning before I applied the barepro Foundation. This step helped to keep my face moisturized under the foundation and I didn't have any problems throughout the day. So far I like this Foundation but it's not like the complexion rescue which is dewy and very moisturizing. But I'm glad that bareMinerals came out with this new liquid Foundation because it's a nice option to have when I want more of a fuller coverage.
I wore the Bare Minerals Bare Pro Foundation for the 2nd time today. This time, I added a little bit more of the Aragon Oil on top of my moisturizer - then I applied the foundation on top of it after several minutes. it helped create the perfect base and primer for my skin and make-up. My skin didn't feel dry at all and in fact, it felt moisturized. Also, I used the BM Hydrating Mineral Veil on top of my makeup too so I think this may have helped as well. Hope this helps you, too.
Ok so I took your idea as inspiration and added some of my heavy Olay moisturizer-- just a dollop- to the foundation and it went SO WELL. It was a little harder to blend out and took a second to set (also added a little bit of powder) but it was so much more comfortable and didn't break up!!!
I have combo skin and this foundation was amazing for me. Covered all of my blemishes all day! Love

Isn't it weird?? I feel like they should promote it that way! But then I guess they can't sell primer lol
Slashed Beauty 😊 yes I totally agree!
Just an FYI it looks amazing on your skin! Just bought it myself hoping I like it 💕

I love this foundation , i dont experience any tightness. . I love it !
Isn't it crazy how different makeup performs on different skin types? I think this was just too dry for the dry areas of my combo skin!
I love this foundation!!😍
Hmm I have super dry skin, so this may not work for me, but maybe I'll give it a try 🤔🤔🤔
Sarah Kwak yeah if you have dry skin I don't think this would be comfortable for you as it dries down!!

Interesting... I wonder if I add a little moisturizer to the foundation before applying if it would be more comfortable.

have you tried seeing how a primer may work with it?
Yes! at the end I talk about different primers I've used and how they didn't help or actually made it harder to blend!
What's a good foundation to avoid flashback ??
Jenny S you want to avoid foundations with SPF and powders with talc to stay away from flashback.
What shade girl?
What color are you wearing?
We look like the same skin tone and I've tried warm natural and then the sandalwood and neither worked for my match
So sorry I didn't mention the shade! I don't have it anymore so I can't say for sure, but I believe if I remember correctly it was Natural 11
What shade are you doll?
Warm Natural - 12
Thank you! 😊
