I got this foundation the second we got it in and I felt the texture. It's actually the first Bareminerals product I've ever genuinely loved. I really like using a real techniques sponge but I actually had a lot of success with my sigma F80 too. I was shocked how well it held up on my combo oily skin. It didn't emphasize my pores or fine lines like some full coverage foundations do. I used the barepro powder over it and love the look. I had a hard time with shades, but it actually oxidized a little bit on me so I went with the same shade I use in the powder and that works perfectly.
Kenzie Clark I agree I have it too. Just got it today and I love it. U don't even notice ur wearing it unlike Old fashioned chemical filled foundation which may cover more but basically is like plaster on your face and itches where as this doesn't

I bought this foundation at Sephora. I requested to be color matched to ensure I purchased the right shade. I've used Bare Minerals Original in the past (which I loved) but was looking for something with a bit more coverage that would be good for combination skin. I've tested it out for the past two days now and my color match was right on the money. It helped control the shine I usually battle with without having used any finishing powder. My dry areas didn't appear dry after application as long as I remembered to use moisturizer. I used two pumps for medium coverage and thought the texture appeared comfy and natural. Also, I applied with a brush but not in a buffering motion. I look forward to trying the beauty blender next time. I enjoyed your video very much. Thanks for sharing. Your feedback persuaded me to try it out and I absolutely love it for my skin.
Karen so did all the laying off of the freelancers and I believe it is because of all the releases they can't even afford to pay their employees terrible company.
I heard bad things from other beauty youtubers about this foundation, so I was never interested in it. Recently, I was digging thru my makeup cabinet, and found that I have deluxe sample of this foundation, I tried it with my foundation brush. I like it, and I'm surprised. I tried it a few more times, including today. My skin is particularly dry and flaky today, and usually the most moisturizing foundation won't fix it. But it works wonderful! It is long wear, and not too matte. I totally agree with you that this is demi-matte, because how dry my skin is, I usually like dewy finish. I love this foundation!!!

Holy cow you're gorgeous without makeup. Adding makeup is just like BAM! A different, equally gorgeous look. Definitely the type of look I'm working towards for myself! :)
I didn't find this heavy and it blurred out my lines and wrinkles well with no settling! I only use 1 pump...4 seems extremely excessive to me. It is my new favorite foundation!! 😍😍

This is my go to long wear full coverage foundation. I even figured out how to make it my everyday wear base by mixing it with the Mac strobe cream. Omg, still long lasting but glowy and light. Such a versatile product. And like you said, swiping it on the skin is better so even applying by fingers works quite well if you’re in a hurry.

I agree with everything you said, especially the part about Bare Minerals finally bringing out something for us oily ladies who want full coverage. I don't think i'm going to have a choice of shade with this new liquid bare pro. I'm in the lightest golden shade (golden ivory) of the barepro powder, and if I go a shade darker, it would be too dark. I CANNOT wait to get this product! So excited! Thank you so much for your review!!
I just picked this up at Ulta a couple of days ago, and I really like it. I particularly like that it is a medium to full coverage, and I didn't think it felt tacky at all. I am interested, however, in what eye shadow product you are wearing in this video. It is a beautiful color and really enhances your eyes well. I was waiting to see your review on this one. My shade is pretty close. I'm wearing Medium in Original and Cool Beige in this one. Perfect match. I used the Complexion Rescue mineral veil from a QVC kit to finish. My skin is dry right now from the sun and pool, so I had to exfoliate and moisturize to get a smooth look. Great performance. I have a wedding coming up in August which is sure to be humid so that will be the true test.
This product should not be used with a Beauty Blender. Since the product is water-resistant and the Beauty Blender contains water in it the performance of the product is optimal when used with the brush that was made for it! Great video!
I’m disappointed in all the new bare minerals releases. They used to only use basic ingredients for us sensitive skin girls. Now all the new ones have tons of sensitizing fragrant oils and silicones.

I watched this video getting ready for work this morning. I bought this foundation at Ulta while Bare Minerals foundations were on sale for $19. It wasn't my first choice because I would have preferred the tinted moisturizer and they didn't have my shade. Okay long story short, I found the foundation brush on clearance for $4 at Marshall's! I've had this foundation sitting around for weeks, but once I got the brush I couldn't wait to try it on and it looks good. Won't be able to give it a proper wear test for another few days, but this was a really exciting occurrence.
I just bought this and so far , so good!! I have oily skin and was looking for something lighter feeling than Doublewear, but still great coverage! I use my L'Oréal beauty sponge, I tried a buffing brush and you are right - it's not good for this foundation at all!
Great share and review! I chose to try a sample of this with my Sephora purchase. I'm more combo but enjoy hydrating products so I didn't know what to expect. The first time I tried it, I threw the sampler in the trash thinking I'd never use this kind of matte medium/full foundation... because I enjoy creamier consistent products. But every time I looked in the mirror up close and far, my skin looked so good! It was lightweight throughout the day and I noticed I wasn't needing to blot my face at all! Gross truth, but I dug for that foundation sampler and tried it the next few days and was sold. I apply my face products mostly with my fingers- this worked for me- section by section. Planning to purchase full bottle when I'm done with my Neutrogena Hydro boost Skin Tint (I know... Totally for dry normal skin).

It doesn't feel Cakey at all it's very light weight not heavy at all and it's natural it feels heavy to you maybe because you use 4 pumps depending how much you put on
I feel like all of the bare minerals products work amazing on your skin! I have extremely dry and flaky skin, but no acne or blemishes or anything. I use the original powder foundation like you do, just a little bit and I blend it in for like 2 minutes but I just don't get any coverage! I have slightly red cheeks so I like to even out my complexion but I just can't get any of their powder foundations to cover anything 😭
You know it looks so nice on you ,I like it ,at the moment I'm using the Body Shops new foundation and it is beautiful,It is a light to medium coverage ,but it is a bit of magic on the skin ,who would have thought .🌸
This is such a great, thorough review. The foundation seems like a PITA. It does look really good on you but, needing that many pumps and a tacky-feeling finish would bother me. I want something with good coverage off the bat.
I just got this foundation today in the lightest shade "fair 01" and it's not tacky at all for me and I used a beauty blender and it blended better than any foundation brushes like stippling brushes and all that but still I really like it 🙃💝
I saw this in Ulta yesterday and tested a little on my hand. I thought the shade looked lighter as well. I usually wear the lightest shade, but it looked a little too light! If I buy it I will definitely go up a shade.

I love this foundation and I just apply it with a regular foundation brush. I don’t feel like it has to be painted on like you said. JMO. It’s my holy grail.
I have the same foundation & I couldn't work with it at first (oily t-zone who likes full coverage). But then I mix it with the Loreal Pro Matte foundation. It's awesome esp during these hot days.

I just purchased the same shade and its definitely medium coverage but I like that. I did try to apply with the brush you were to use with it and it went on streaky but then it turned out ok. I actually was liking the feel and I thought it felt lightweight in my opinion.
Hi! I have been using this foundation and like it. I spilled some by mistake in my make-up draw and i missed wiping off a large drop that spilled on the carton. I tried to clean it off the next day and it won't budge. I was very surprised- and now I wonder if this product would let my skin breathe. Is this a silicon based product? Hi, it's great to have your review of the barePro Liquid Foundation, Shelbey! I definitely think I'm going to try it out for those days when I want more coverage and need extended wear, and I'm curious to see if it'll work as beautifully on my skin as on yours when combined with the barePro powder! Regarding the shades, I also feel like the liquid version is lighter than the powder version. I'm Honeycomb 20 in the barePro powder and honestly the lady showcasing this color in the foundation shade-finder on the website definitely looks darker than the one showcasing the Honeycomb 20 shade of the barePro liquid on the website. So I think I'll try Sable 21, what do you think? Oh and I really love your new hair, it really suits you! ;)

I have been on a foundation kick this month 😁 I just picked up Shesdio Synchro Skin Foundation, Sephora Make No Mistake foundation stick. I actually love the Sephora foundation 🤔 I thought it was going to be gross. For $20 bucks not bad. They say it's a dupe for Tarte new foundation stick 😉 This summer I have been using powders more, like Bare minerals Bare Pro. It's been so humid in Cali this year and I can't handle it 😥. I honestly hate this foundation I’m not sure if the bare minerals “pro” that color matched me just gave me the way wrong color or I got a messed up formula but in my personal opinion I’d prefer a cheaper foundation it sucks
Can someone help me, I got this foundation about a month ago, I love bare minerals and I really really want to love it, BUT no matter what primer I use or application it either gets too cakey or not enough coverage!! It doesn’t cover my nose properly like it doesn’t stick? It seems to emphasise any blemish areas, dry areas and it does not sit nicely around my mouth area! I don’t want to give up on this foundation! Please has anyone got any tips? It would be deeply appreciated!! Xx

A girl at sephora told me to always swipe foundation down so it doesn't make peach fuss stand up.

Champagne is the lightest shade with a golden tone, so you're not as light as you think! :)

I saw this in Ulta yesterday and tested a little on my hand. I thought the shade looked lighter as well. I usually wear the lightest shade, but it looked a little too light! If I buy it I will definitely go up a shade.

I love this foundation and I just apply it with a regular foundation brush. I don’t feel like it has to be painted on like you said. JMO. It’s my holy grail.

I have the same foundation & I couldn't work with it at first (oily t-zone who likes full coverage). But then I mix it with the Loreal Pro Matte foundation. It's awesome esp during these hot days.

I just purchased the same shade and its definitely medium coverage but I like that. I did try to apply with the brush you were to use with it and it went on streaky but then it turned out ok. I actually was liking the feel and I thought it felt lightweight in my opinion.

Hi! I have been using this foundation and like it. I spilled some by mistake in my make-up draw and i missed wiping off a large drop that spilled on the carton. I tried to clean it off the next day and it won't budge. I was very surprised- and now I wonder if this product would let my skin breathe. Is this a silicon based product? I’ve been wearing bare minerals since I was in 6th grade when it was just coming out.....I’m now 30....and I still wear the regular powder lol....I ordered this today and the new powder pan she’s talking about! Crossing my fingers! I love target under eye tape and Laura powder finish...... I want to try huda....if anyone likes that let me know!

Probably so based on the finish. I would recommend setting it with the BarePro Powder as well.
Use your fingers to apply! Then you get a super thin layer that doesnt look like you are wearing makeup at all!

I definitely think I'm going to try it out for those days when I want more coverage and need extended wear, and I'm curious to see if it'll work as beautifully on my skin as on yours when combined with the barePro powder!
Regarding the shades, I also feel like the liquid version is lighter than the powder version. I'm Honeycomb 20 in the barePro powder and honestly the lady showcasing this color in the foundation shade-finder on the website definitely looks darker than the one showcasing the Honeycomb 20 shade of the barePro liquid on the website. So I think I'll try Sable 21, what do you think?

I have been on a foundation kick this month 😁 I just picked up Shesdio Synchro Skin Foundation, Sephora Make No Mistake foundation stick. I actually love the Sephora foundation 🤔 I thought it was going to be gross. For $20 bucks not bad. They say it's a dupe for Tarte new foundation stick 😉 This summer I have been using powders more, like Bare minerals Bare Pro. It's been so humid in Cali this year and I can't handle it 😥. I honestly hate this foundation I’m not sure if the bare minerals “pro” that color matched me just gave me the way wrong color or I got a messed up formula but in my personal opinion I’d prefer a cheaper foundation it sucks

Can someone help me, I got this foundation about a month ago, I love bare minerals and I really really want to love it, BUT no matter what primer I use or application it either gets too cakey or not enough coverage!! It doesn’t cover my nose properly like it doesn’t stick? It seems to emphasise any blemish areas, dry areas and it does not sit nicely around my mouth area! I don’t want to give up on this foundation! Please has anyone got any tips? It would be deeply appreciated!! Xx
