I printed the Rock Bouncer cage the other day and fitted it to my jeep wrangler and it looks amazing! If any of the viewers has access to a 3d printer I recommend printing it! thank you very ,uch for making it free on the download page!
I just received my tracks yesterday I'm in WI we got 5in snow last night. First off they look amazing on my deadbolt. I do think I'm going to buy another scx24 probably the gladiator cause I upgraded my whole deadbolt it's all metal now and alot heavier than stock so it is so heavy sinks to much in snow. Also I totally forgot that I have all wheel steer on it so for now I just put the stock rear axle. Totally my fault I appreciate the extra parts with them I will be able get the steering to work. But all that said I'm in love with these tracks they look awesome they preform awesome well worth the money this guy is a genius. I highly recommend all of his products!!!!!
those 050 motors are very good, its the same as the branded ones. I atacched aluminium heat sink at the sides and no problems in a year with all the weight possible added.
My bearings were supposed to arrive a week ago but have been held up in shipping. As soon as I see them, the tracks will be back in stock! Sorry for the delay.

As far as performance out of the box, is the gladiator or jeep better? Does the longer wheelbase on the gladiator make it high-center much more, or is it too little to notice.
To me, it does seem like the gladiator gets crested more easily than the wrangler, but a more angled approach, along with some front weight, & a slight change in driving style, mine follows my wrangler everywhere.
I’m about to pick up the first gladiator from my LHS and I want to print these tracks, is there a brushed motor you can recommend that will handle these tracks and not burn out? I’d like to wait a while to go brushless since I have other projects going on. Also if you have links to where you find the bearings that would be great!
I have thought about it but that would hinder the performance so I was not planning on it. This is about as small as I can go while keeping them smooth.
Just a future idea 💡 If you design them to fit a tire with the sidewalls cut off, wrap it overtop with studs to keep the tire "band" in place on the tracks and you'd have the ability to make some really grippy tracks for rock crawling 😉😉 I'd try but I lack the printer and design ability so far

@CineMoto24 I ended up making a hovercraft with spare stuff but was too small to go over uneven snow. So now I want to do a rc car. I'll put in extra receiver (I'm need pwm) & extra vtx. Originally was looking at 124016 or 18 .. or eat06 tank .. but loving this track thing
@@CineMoto24 the teeth part is printing great but im having the in between parts come out very brittle and inconsistent. Iv tried to follow your wall parameters. The TPU dosnt have any moisture and im printing very slow. It dosnt seem like i have a feeding issue either. Its not slipping or jamming.
I just watched the install video on the jlu I'm doing a rock buggy tracked mil type build I found 3d printed 24 scale 50 cal trying to figure out how to get it to rotate with a servo
I wanted to put this on separate comment but they are more then I ever expected they make it look mean on a smaller body and shipping was amazing fast I didnt expect them tell after the holidays
When you factor in print time, bearings, bolts, and labor it really isn’t. I do offer the files to print for free for those who can’t justify it though.
@@CineMoto24 $85 is 60% of the price of the SCX24 C10 though. If they were metal or molded plastic that would make sense, but 3D printed stuff is too fragile to justify that expense, especially if they’re used in cold weather.

I would try to make that rig light as posable , so it would Float on the snow instead of Digging in . Very COOL !!!

Have you considered adding a very short line perpendicular to the main tracks? Something to prevent sliding is what I’m thinking
