New to RC, Just ordered this truck for my grandson. (9) I got him an inexpensive RC this summer and he loved it. Looking forward to seeing him open up on Christmas morning. It is how the body sits on the velcro. In my opinion they need to work a little harder on getting the bumper to line up. This was a problem on the JLs as well in my opinion. I have a few ideas on how to fix it which I am going to try.
um, where did you get this version? Most gladiators I can find online, including the horizon link, have the version with older ESC/radio. The only Version 2 models I can find online are the of the jeep wrangler

They come with the long links and drive shafts cone on it already that’s why they aren’t in the bag in the box

Is it possible to remove all the overland scale stuff on the back? I don't like the look and it just adds weight to the back.
Yes, all the rear parts can be removed with 4 bolts.
Whats wrong with the bumper ? I've seen many of them with a bumper that doesn't look right.. or is it the body that doesn't sit tight on the velcro ?

The wranglers are slightly taller and wider than the stock trail grapplers
