Thx man, I just get my feet wet with plug-ins and it feels like I opened Pandora's box. Was trying to find a way to control the settings and , voila, here you are. It helps a lot since I own a 500X myself. Thx again and cheers.
A couple of months ago I plugged in my 1010 and set it up to work with Bias. Much the same settings as this video, I think I may have used different values in case I wanted to use it and the POD at the same time.
Great video, thanks! It worked fine for me but I noticed the red led from the pod footswitch doesn't turn on when I pressed them. Is this by design? Thanks!
:) Awesome video thank you soo much !!!! Helped a lot !!! Any idea how to keep the Midi controls after restarting Bias FX2, seems like it keeps the settings form the top right menu, but not from the pedals or amps ... . Also when you change AMPs, if I assign the GAIN to a control, its gone when I switch AMPs and it does not come back when reverting to the original AMP. How do you guys deal with that, without that limitation I think I would be absolutely happy, but that's kind of a bummer... . Sorry for the long message. Amazing Video :)
Great info! Thank you! To get it clear: to use the pod as a midi controller I need to use an audio interface, right? POD is an audio interface itself but since the midi data doesn’t go via USB cable I would still need an audio interface to get it to work?
Very helpful - thanks from a fellow Aussie guitarist. I have a new Nectar Pacer and it seems to work really well, but I'm a real newbie with MIDI and I find some things in Bias Fx 2 a bit weird....like - what does Bank + and Bank - do? Any help greatly appreciated!
Hello, i just bought bias fx elite and i want to use my ddj 1000 Midi-Controller in the programm. Bias recognizes the controller in audio settings but does not receive any input signal when i try to asign a toggle. Do you have any suggestions for my problem? (I checked the box in audio settings. Midi-Controll is enabled) Thanks :)
Thank you so much for the video! I just purchased a Helix floor, and I am sure I can do this with it (I am a newbie and just need to learn). I am wondering can I use the Helix to send CC's and PC's to control BIASFX 2 within Studio One Pro ver 5?
I know you can use the Helix to send CC's and PC's and there shouldn't be a problem doing it in Studio One. I use Ableton and I need to set up a separate midi track that receives the HD500x midi signals and I then route that channel to BIas. Studio One probably has something similar. The concept is the same. Good luck.
Absolutely. Go to the midi settings page, select MIDI control assignments, Assign New MIDI Control and then Utility. This is where you'll see the option to switch scenes which is what Bias call Snapshots.
I don't see a problem with that. Bias probably won't even be able to tell - all it will see is incoming midi messages and it won't know they're from different controllers.
Hi mate, ive got the blackstar live midi controller, ive followed the steps youve gone through but bias fx 2 wont pick up the midi signal. I have bias fx 2 pro aswell. Help
I've got no simple solution but I'd suggest checking to see whether your computer is receiving messages from the Blackstar. Try using a program called MIDI-OX - it should be able to monitor your midi ports for data in and out. So if your Blackstar is working ok, MIDI-OX should be able to see it's activity i.e. when you click on a button etc. From there, check the midi in on Bias. Make sure that the midi port that you're using is showing in Bias. If that all checks out and it's still not working, do you have another program you can try the Blackstar on? Maybe get a demo version of TH-U or Guitar Rig and see if you can get it working on that.

thanks mate! I've been trying to get my HD500x working properly for ages and now it's finally working!
Nektar Pacer brother! Works like a dream for your DAW and Bias Fx 2! GET ONE! Good video! Why am I yelling!?
This was very very helpful. Thanks a lot.
You are a life saver! Thank you.
just started programming my FBC1010 for BiasFX the other week..

Hi, great video, one question if you have a moment: how do you use the Pod HD500X to change presets?
Great video, thanks! It worked fine for me but I noticed the red led from the pod footswitch doesn't turn on when I pressed them. Is this by design? Thanks!
Nice and clear. Thanks!
Can you use the Midi controller to completely separate tone?
Thank you, great video, you know your stuff, subscribed, thanks again, M
can i use midi keyboard instead of midi commander on pc bias fx

Bias fx works with any midi controller pedal?
Great info! Thank you! To get it clear: to use the pod as a midi controller I need to use an audio interface, right? POD is an audio interface itself but since the midi data doesn’t go via USB cable I would still need an audio interface to get it to work?
Yes, that's my understanding of how it works. The POD USB doesn't send midi so you need something with a midi port on it to receive the midi messages.

this is also awesome!

i can use POD HD 500 as midi controller and USB audio interface at the same time.
can midi do change snap menu?

Hi!! Does anyone know if I can run multiple midi controllers at the same time in bias fx 2? Thanks in advance
I don't see a problem with that. Bias probably won't even be able to tell - all it will see is incoming midi messages and it won't know they're from different controllers.

me too and i found no troubleshooter for this problem.
It connected, selected the audio tab on bias fx and checked that the midi section was enabled. It worked
@@nickhutchinson9068 Im checked the midi section, it's enable and didn't work
@@thanhtammetal i usually un select that and inplug the midi controller and close down bias fx. Reopen and conect and it should work
