Official Lyrics:
Disc 7, Track 1: Bow
Fallen Angels, wayward strayed (fall on your knees)
In needless pain, unpenitent (penitentially)
In silence baying disarrayed (bow your head)
By heav'n forsaken, bowed and broken
Shame filled faces (bow down)
Fame disgraced (beg of me)
This infamy is unforgiven (your pardon) - เกม

Thank you!!!
Amazing
Ask for this at karaoke haha thank you.
It's still strange to me that he doesn't use actual choirs for this
@@SprDrumio64What did he use?
Honestly, it's one of the best ost in the game
Idk man it’s got a hard fight with the first 28 seconds of the infernal shadows phase 1 theme (press on)
This one slapped me hard
This sentence can be said about most soundtracks in the game. Stunning musical experience
Facts
I want an official audio of it so bad. I want to purchase the soundtrack but I need to be sure it's there lol
The quieter soundtracks in this game go just as hard as the epic ones, absolutely in love with Soken and co's work, this game has the best overall soundtrack gaming has produced in some time.
This song fit the segment it was played so damn perfectly. Just the right amount of etherealness, mystery, and epic grandeur
Its a banger ! 🔥
Dude, I couldn’t have said it better myself! The music for this game was beyond on point!
Couldn't have said that better.
Also, a hint of sorrow and steely determination. You KNOW it's all coming to a head. That the tale is almost done. That SOMEONE you like isn't walking away from this alive, but...fuck it, it needs to be done, right?
Spoiler:
God, I miss Clive already.
Mystery. Solitude. Quiet. Darkness. Like being within the mind of someone truly alone.
A masterclass 🖤
@@Alvin-xs7db Sometimes it's good to sit down and feel sorry for yourself. Let it all out, inside your head.
Is that why I keep listening to it while I grade essays?
This part of the game really reminded me of the segment at the end of ff 9 where garland is explaining everything to zidane in memoria or pandemonium. I loved this section also the music is phenomenal i get lost in this sauce👌🏾
1000%
i'm glad someone mentioned ff9 here, it is very similar isn't it
I've been obsessed with this song ever since I heard it in game. Masterpiece!
Ultima actually one of the understandable villains of the FF franchise.
Like Clive said it best: "You're just like us. But you refuse to admit it".
Like God who made Adam in his image.
And until the end, Ultima only views humanity in much the same way we view ants. Albeit he created the "ants" to ultimately serve a purpose. And when he woke up, the "ants" were no longer aligned with his goals.
Lunatic Pandora vibes...
I thought the same
The way that the creators of these games so masterfully capture the mystical and the mysterious tells me that they've tapped into something beyond this world and have mastered channelling their discoveries into something tangible for this plane through their art and media.
Final Fantasy 13 had many moments like this as well.. Orphan's Cradle, traversing the time gates from 13-2 (and the feeling of utter hopelessness and despair that came from getting lost within them), the path to Bhunivelze..
I don't know another series that so successfully taps into those places.
This music is so comfy.
One of the best definitely. Reminds me of memoria from FF9
This really reminds me of "Fortress of Lies" from NieR Automata.
Nice catch
Also Copied City, because of the piano in the later half
Been having this on repeat and realized the piano reminds me of copied city, the same sense of tension as you start putting things together and understand the stakes at hand
This music is what really made me feel immersed in ff16. Simply brilliant
Perfect song for this segment. Master Soken and his team did it wonder 😍
It seems to be a remix of Ultima theme, which was also used against Typhon (Transgressor form).
Believe it or not, Ultima's true form is Ifrit, or at the very least, the Ultima Prime version
@@shadowthehedgehog181 Hey, thanks for the info. I finished the game a while ago, but here by true form I meant Typhon "the Transgressor". My bad 😅.
I really like Ultima Risen form - Ifrit with six wings, he looks amazing!
This song is just perfect it sets the mood perfectly
Alright I found the song that should play in Minecraft's End dimension
This song now competes with Memoria extended plays. Love it.
Totally agreed, now Memoria from FF9 Can Rise with that Melody !
This segment of the game is pure genius. The lore of this game is immaculate
This scene, and the subsequent scene of Clive right after the ultima fight reminded me a ton of the Amarout scene in 5.3 of Elidibus taking you through your journey, and painting you as the villain
I always felt like Ultima was like if Satan did take the place of God and ended up making life in his image instead but made not from love but from vainglory. he does not listen to nor care for his creations, they only exist so as to fulfill desperate need. to fix a flaw in his own design of the world, then once his creations gain a will of their own he is disgusted and afraid of their potential rather than embracing it because he knows what he did with his own will and terrified of being usurped rather than the usurper he once was
Isn’t that exactly what god did though? He created something and witnessed a “flaw” with it, and in a fit of rage destroyed them all just so he could try again. An angry, faithless, vengeful being who punished others for not conforming to its grand design.
Not quite, from God's perspective He saw the eventuality humanity would become and instead of not even bothering with the heartache he allowed humanity to exist with their free will which in turn begets consequences.
@@mr-qp6ceyou need to read the book of Enoch. The real story of the angels coming to earth and showing mankind the things we know today many years ago and even mating with humans creating hybrid giants known as Nephilim. God didn't destroy the world because of man, God destroyed the world because of the angels that came here.
Well, he fcked up XD look whats happening to the world. What flawed beings he made.
i am considering spending the 70 bucks on the 7 disc OST just cause this track lol..
Lmao, same but because of histoire as well
Histoire is on repeat in the hideout
You also get a free game with it too! What a steal!
This song and segment reminded me of Memoria from FF9 and it made me so so so happy.
Thank you so much! I've been looking all over for this, it's one of my favorite music in the game.
"The Fortress of Truth"
Dazed and confused ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Just close your eyes and relax
Combat with full control of the other party members would have made this one of the best ff. I do love the killer story
Thank you so much, i've been waiting for this one !
This song is so…. Penultimate. It feels so final. The choir adds a sense of dread, so ominous
Thank you so muchhhhhh
When you think about all the adventure you've been through, all the wars and all the sacrifices to get to this moment🖤
2:00 ❤
Is just incredible
This reminded me of FF9
Based on how otherworldly and haunting the ost for the Interdimensonal Rift, this should have been the final dungeon of this game.
Great OST except for the horrible ads that ruin the experience on your video not even two minutes in.
Just an absolutely beautiful song. I was honestly a little underwhelmed by the games OST until I got to this point, then hoo dowgy
Xenoblade Chronicles + Game of Thrones + FFVIII(the lore of Hyne) = FFXVI.
“Do you see it now, Mythos? Our pronouns are they/them. Not because we are non binary, but because we are multiple (people in Paris)”
I remember reaching this part somewhat hoping Ultima would reveal some piece of the puzzle that made him perhaps justified? or somewhat tragic in a way. Ultima could have been a great villain if he had a bit stronger backstory. I feel like his current story somewhat loses the themes of slavery and liberation that the game was going for. the game instead becomes more about defying fate, which is fine, but somewhat overplayed.
I thought Ultimas backstory was very tragic and sad. He/they just want to live and restart. Just like everyone else they want to live on their terms. It’s just humanity and ultimas survival depends on the other disappearing.
