@@KayakQ yeah dude! I'm a yakker/tuber myself although I been out of the game for a bit, that's how I stumbled across your video. It looks like torpedo bait bucket company is out of business, that's all I use to use and can't find one now. What part of FL are you in man? You on discord or Facebook by chance?
Wait... how much do 5 gallon buckets cost where you are?!?! lol Also, walmart sells a nice lid that will fit any 5 gallon (among other sizes) bucket, with an aerator for like $15. The lid has a nice top hatch, a place to hang the aerator, a loop for bait net, and some other places to attach or hang tools. It's a nifty, simple little product.
Hello there awesome video thanks for the information, I just got a revo 13 to start kayak fishing here on hawaii, I like the idea of the abs pipe where do you find the two grilled covers for the ends of the pipe ?? Thank you
No real resistance with the (blue)torpedo bait bucket nor with the Black ABS torpedo tube unless there is a lot of weight (heavy baits) inside the torpedos. They glide really good.
The small one ( Hobie live-well V2 ) is $426 and tax the large one is $495.00 plus tax. I have had the small on for 10 years with no problems. I have had the large one for 2 years with many issues from the original assembly at the factory. It has cost me several pounds of purchased minnows as well as entry fees on 2 crappie tournaments. I am a huge Hobie fan but this was a bad miss-fire.
I saw you had some stabilizers on your kayak. Are they a life saver? I’m a new kayaker and want to get into kayak fishing. I’m scared of losing all my stuff lol.
For inshore style of fishing it’s not really needed, but for offshore fishing I would recommend it. Overall it’s beneficial but not a must have for everyone.
Well laid out video! Good job!
Thank you! I really appreciate it! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🤜🏽🤛🏽
Thank you for the great review 😊
Your welcome! 🙏🏽👍🏽
Nice ABS idea, I was looking at the stuff for sale commercially and it's all too bulky or cheap junk, that'll fit my needs perfectly, thanks!
Great video
Thank you! I really appreciate it.

I Live in Miami! Yeah Torpedo Bait bucket might have went out of business. I am on Instagram and Facebook for now.
Awesome descriptions on what to use each bucket for. I either use the small blue bucket or the 5 gallon. Will have to give that ABS tube a try
Thanks again my brother! I Love my ABS tube when I am not running the motor! Give it a try!
Gotta have em all!
Hell yeah bro! You never know when your gonna need them!
@@KayakQ 💯💯
@castmoneymike Pokémon? 😂
@@ProjectReel yup! Lmao
Nice video and explanation! Do you have a video showing DIY project for ABS tube?
Thank you! No not yet but I will post it soon stay tuned!

At your local hardware store, Home Depot or Lowes. There in the plumbing section.
Nice video my brother
Gracias mi Hermanó! 🙏🏽🙏🏽💯💯
Could you used the abs tube for live makerel and sardine baits?
Yes you can. I have had plenty Hog Leg Mullet inside the ABS tube.
How do you get the bait out of the ABS option? Reach your arm in there?
The lid has an elastic bungee that helps open and keep the lid closed.
Please make a video on how to construct the ABS tube. This video was very helpful!
Thank you! I will do it soon!
What is the part on the top of the DIY bait tube?:)
It’s a floor drain cover from the plumbing section from Home Depot.
Do you recommend the ABS for shallow water bay fishing
Yes I can recommend ABS live well bait tube for shallow water as well.
What was the resistance like when paddling on the torpedo tube in the water?
No real resistance with the (blue)torpedo bait bucket nor with the Black ABS torpedo tube unless there is a lot of weight (heavy baits) inside the torpedos. They glide really good.
@@KayakQ ABS be your pick though?
ABS=Yes 💯 because of better structure/design. The blue torpedo is a 3 piece design which will un-glue itself with time.
@@KayakQ thank you bro

How do you catch the bait tho? Can you throw a cast net from a kayak
We usually catch bait with a Sabiki and crappie jigs or throw A 5ft castanet from the kayak!
