- Aloha! In this video Unko Spenny and I go on a crazy shore dive at a very dangerous spot. We do some deep reef hunting and end the sesh with some 3 prong akshen! After we grab the keikis, Unko Spenny shows me how he likes to fry his fish.

Only dumb asses use waist belts. I been diving over 40 years and seen it happen to idiots before. Some folks are just arrogant and have no common sense whatsoever 😂 If people think having it on their waist will keep their catch safe lol!, they in for a giant surprise!! This Japanese diver from Oahu got nailed here on Molokai while diving with his waist belt full of squid and fish. He survived but he realized how stupid it is was doing so and the danger he's been putting himself in the past few yrs!!

this reminds me of the village I'm from in Palau. My dad and I would go fishing early in the morning and sometimes we get back before noon then we cook and eat. at around noon time or little after, just like what you do, we ate at the porch where we have a table at. I think almost every islander that have a porch can relate to this..lol. What i miss the most is the calmness in the noon time. you have just ate your lunch and you feel that little breeze and it's so quiet you hear the palm leaves or sugar cane leaves blown by the wind... Just like what the little girl said, "This is the life"! man... I can't wait to move back home.

It was an Ono or Wahoo. We don’t shoot barracudas in Hawaii cuz they get ciguatera poisoning

A quick tip for the future.. when it comes to grilling fish 1 make sure the grill is swarmed with oil 2 a very HOT grill is a must before putting the fish on
3 add the lemon just before taking the fish off the fire to avoid a bitter taste or loosing the zesty sourness

Was diving off Magnolia Point Rockport, MA 05/06/23 in some heavy swell. Crashing surf at entry/exit were insane. I didn't have my anchor buttoned up on my Banks Board, so the line got wrapped under the rocks and I was tossed 3x over them like a ping pong ball. Nice climb out with all my gear, 25lbs of lead, and a fully loaded Banks Board over about 30 yards of slime covered boulders. Vis was about 3m, 7° water, with nearly 2m swell along a very dangerous shoreline, but I had an awesome time hunting on some beautiful grounds and moved over to the other side of the island for a second sesh in some calmer water. Was a tough dive, but rewarding. Watching you exit in that surf gave me flashbacks. Got another big dive down in Rhode Island 05/12/23 where I'm going to break out my RA Tuna 90 Roller with fresh cut bands and a new 7mm shaft I lined last night. Stoked to wake up to a new vid and I'm wishing you the best from the cold rocky shores of New England, USA!
