Much Mahalo's for always sharing your videos. I always enjoy watching them and I've watched every single one of them. I'm 72 years old and I've been diving ever since I was 8 years old. I've dove almost the entire Big Island all the way from Milolii to Puako. But I haven't dove for over 20 years. However my goal this year is to go back diving again before the end this year...you are my biggest inspiration.

I enjoy watching your videos. Many people don't realize the overwhelming athletic ability needed to do what you do. Your dives and techniques for spearing fish look safe and professional compared to other spear fishermen on TH-cam. Having a firm grasp of the English language and not being tadded from head to toe helps tremendously with the video content. Thx

This was a great video! I used to love diving @ night on both the Kona side & Hilo side...I mainly went scuba diving on night dives...you are a very skilled free diver & spear fisherman...you make it look easy in this video, but most people couldn't come close to those depths & those bottom times

It's always entertaining to watch those underwater footages! What is your average dive time and dive depth? A few minutes below 90 feet of water sounds crazy scary!
Depends on the depth. The deeper you go the harder it gets to hold your breath because of the amount of energy you use to get down there and back up

You don't get the bends from coming up from those depths?...I scuba dived down to 55' getting my Cert and they made us hang out 15' below the boat for a little before we surfaced..overkill?
I’ve never got the bends before but if I dive past 100’ all day long I feel a little off afterwards lol. I’ve never tried scuba diving so not sure
