    Yum. Hazelnut and chocolate is my favourite gelato flavour so l'll definitely be trying this. Just wanted to pass on some tips from how l make my other no churn icecreams. I 'sacrifice' a small amount of the whipped cream, that is, l mix the other ingredients into about 1/4 of the whipped cream first. This softens them and allows me to be much more gentle folding that mix into the rest of the whipped cream. Which in turn, allows the cream to remain more aerated and makes for a softer lighter icecream.

    I made this today and I don’t know if I failed or the recipe failed. I blended the hazelnuts into a paste and blended for quite a long time. The “ice cream” was so dense and gritty. The flavor was not good either. I’m really disappointed as I was making this as a special treat for someone who loves the Bacio gelato in Italy but hasn’t been able to get back. I wasn’t expecting Italian gelato but I was expecting chocolate hazelnut ice cream. The problem could be me but I wanted to comment in case someone else had a similar experience.

    Excellent! Hoping people don't use fabric freshener on their towels. It can and will ruin food.
