- Une petite vidéo simple qui m'a permis de configurer correctement mon home cinéma 5.1.
Pour info, concernant la freebox pop il faut activer l'option "6 canaux pour les applications" pour pouvoir lire un flux audio 5.1 depuis un serveur DLNA (Serviio par exemple)
Cette vidéo fonctionne sur le matériel/application suivante:
* PotPlayer. Real 5.1
* freebox pop

For anyone confused, this only works in the TV app, not the browser on a computer. But it does work very well.
It does for me.maybe it's just my headset. It has Dolby atmos

Hey fool! TH-cam does stereo output… it does not support surround audio output on any platform 🤣🤣🤣 so it’s not “real” surround sample 🤣🤣🤣

5.1 does work on TV with optical cable. It does not work on mobile. PC I am not sure.

It works with TH-cams TV-App. Took some time to figure out the settings for TV and Audiosystem. For me its: eARC on "auto", digital audio out on "auto/uncompressed" and Dolby Digital on "Dolby Digital Plus". Then the audio reciver shows "DD+" and the 6 speaker channels play seperatly as they should.

I'm using the Android 13 QPR beta 1 and spatial audio is working with this, very noticeable with the two rear channels.

I got zebronics zuke bar 9500 ws pro. 5.1 channel Dolby audio. In this video when music is coming from right surround speaker. Then my sound bars right speaker is working with rs. But left surround speaker is working fine. Whenever its right surround speakers time then soundbar right speaker is starts sounding. I don't know y. Can anyone help me pls.

I'm not sure of all the people saying it doesn't work from computer/youtube. I'm running youtube on my computer (Chrome), casting to my TV, and I'm getting full Dolby digital on my receiver (attached to the TV) and the demo works on all channels.

With every video you can check the audio settings. When the audio settings are listed then you can choose between 5.1 and 2.1.
This is on TV and PC. Not on mobile.
When the sound setting is not there (as with mobile) then there is no 5.1.
If you put on a video on TV or PC, check the setting if the 5.1 is on.

Streaming from TCL Roku TV and YouTUbe App. I have a Denon x3800H AVR , SVS sub, full 5.1 system. When I played this I could not hear the sub. The whole system works great as tested with other media and youtube videos. Also the surrounds were incredibly week, with the RS and LS sounds coming more from the fronts.
Hello, normally the sound is played on each speaker separately. There is normally no sound on the L and R speakers while sound is being played on LR and LF.
To make things work properly, I've configured my player (Android TV) to transmit the sound without processing it from 5.1 to 2.0. I also activated 5.1 on the TH-cam app. (support.google.com/youtube/answer/11904456?hl=en)
As for the subwoofer, to hear the sound immediately I switched from "auto" mode to "on" mode. In "auto" mode, it's possible that the subwoofer is triggered after a short moment when it detects a sound to play.
@@alexflex25 Hi, thanks for your reply. My TCL Roku TV is configured to pass all sound unprocessed through the eARC directly to my Denon AVR-X3800H. All other app such as Netflix, Prime, HBO MAX, Apple TV pass the 5.1 brilliantly. Even some TH-cam videos do as well. I can not find a setting on this particular (or any) video to enable/disable 5.1 as indicated in this link you provided nor on my TH-cam settings.
@@chrism-m5223 I couldn't get a screenshot on my TV, but when I'm in the TH-cam app. When the video is playing, I can press the "ok" button on my remote control (to bring up the timeline).
Then I can move to the right to open the settings. In this menu, I can change the video quality, add subtitles, and then I have "5.1 Surround" which I can activate or deactivate. Then "Report", "Comment" and "Stats for nerds".
@@alexflex25 Thanks again. Yes, I am at the settings button/menu right of timeline. On my Roku TV TH-cam app, there is not a 5.1 Surround option. I did watch another 5.1 test video that showed a picture of the settings where this switch should be. It's clearly missing on my implementation. I have all the other settings, vid quality, subtitles, etc. I did check for latest update which I am running. I'm going to have to consult with some roku tv/TH-cam forums to understand why it's not being supported fully.

TH-cam doesn't give 5.1 surround output on both the PC and the Smart TVs. Netflix does. Maybe TH-cam Premium does. It renders perhaps 2.0 only. I checked it's not 3.0 nor 2.1. The LFE channel is soundless.

LFE is not working for me , how to fix it ?
Hi, can you give me the reference of your subwoofer? it may be in "automatic" mode. On mine I have an on/off/automatic position. When it is in automatic mode, it can take a few seconds to start up when the signal arrives.

The single burst LFE also wasn't working.....
I just found the GLOBAL/INDEPENDENT bass manager option. Apparently, the sub setting choice doesn't work when on GLOBAL.
So the answer to having a solo LFE when provided and accompanied sub when other speakers do:
Bass manager: INDEPENDANT
Woofer setting: SUB L/R + LFE
front speakers: LARGE
centre speaker: LARGE
surr speakers: SMALL
the SMALL/LARGE depends on your setup and taste. I have big front towers (44 -20.000hz), so I want them set to LARGE to get the full range there. I could also put them to SMALL with the crossover freq at 40hz to save some amp power when it tries to give my front speakers a

My setup using an android tv and Audio Return Channel HDMI works just fine!
Also, get a Dolby DD+ capable tv for best results.

@@alexflex25 Thank you for your reply, I have read the link you replied to other people, the final conclusion is that if this video is indeed 5.1 channel, then 5.1 channel can only be achieved on set-top boxes and TVs. But for computer, there's just 2 channel stereo, and no options to choose from, even the computer is 5.1 channel.
I don't have a 5.1 installation on my PC, but I'll try to find someone to test this. Thanks for your answer.

@@alexflex25 no es es un sonido real como tal a 5. 1 canales, son simulados, te invito a hacer una prueba en sistemas de sonido 5.1 y veras que no, tales como yamaha, harman kardon, sony etc, yo tengo un Yamaha y un sony ambos smart y ninguno detecta 5.1 canales de TH-cam y en efecto en mi pantalla si lo tengo pero te repito solo es un sonido simulado.
@@abrahamlara1407 Hola, por mi parte tengo mi android tv box conectado a un home cinema Denon AVR-2037, cuando empiezo a reproducir mi video mi home cinema detecta automaticamente 5.1. Sin embargo, para llegar allí, tuve que configurar mi Android TV Box para que no convirtiera las señales de audio a estéreo.
(Perdón, no sé si quede muy claro, no hablo nada de español, uso traductor de google)
