How I Get My Press On Nails To Last Three Weeks | NO GLUE!

  • Please Read:
    In this video, I share how I get my press on nails to last 3 weeks without using nail glue. That’s right, NO GLUE!
    NOTE: I unintentionally used the word UV instead of LED when referencing the lamp. If you don't have a LED nail lamp you can use the gel that doesn't require one, BUT your press ons may not last as long.
    Grab a blanket and a glass of wine and see how I pamper myself with a manicure OR pull up a chair and let’s do our nails together!
    Leave any questions below that I didn’t address in the video.

    Good luck to you and good for you that you got the dermatological procedure done ❣
    Lololol, I'm 65 and been using DR. BRONNERS PEPPERMINT OIL CASTILE SOAP since I was 15 years old. A big bottle was $5 for YEARS. Then DR. BRONNER passed, they changed the writing on the bottles' label and the price went up to $20. GREAT STUFF!!!
    Thank you for your vid. The thing is getting the press ons to LAST 💅🏼
    I have L.A. COLORS GEL LIKE POLISH and I love it!! It's shiny, it dries fast, it doesn't chip but I doubt it will do the trick. The UV light that goes through the press on and activates the gel polish is the key. Great idea, girl!!!
    Your method is AWESOME!!! Definite positive 💅🏼 💟

    I was reading some folks can be super allergic to this method cuz sometimes the press on nails have too much color to let the light penetrate thtough to the gel and it's not getting fully cured and some people like me are super allergic to that stuff when it's not fully cured... That's why I read everything I could find about it online I had a super bad reaction. I'm so sad because I love playing around with the stuff and would love to try this hack 😢 but these uv curable products can be highly allergenic to certain people like me unfortunately...man I was a painful blistery rashy mess😳😬stick with the lightest most translucent colors so the UV light can penetrate into the gel and fully cure it if you get a tendency for rashes

    • @lindmarcella
      @lindmarcella ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s what I do too but how do you get them off. I bet mine would stay on until they grew out! I’ve tried acetone soak, dawn soap and 14:39 oil, and Makartt Glue Remover. Nothing will budge them. How did you do it?

    • @Ebichumoonberry
      @Ebichumoonberry ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lindmarcellaIt definitely does not come off you need to physically remove them. I did it with nail files. When you soak them in acetone they become softer and easier to remove. Just be careful when you get close to your natural nail so you dont take a lot off. Also for mine when it was really thin layer it came off in small chunks so I did not have to file every single bit.

They used end tips, that powder stuff that turned to a solid and my natural nails were in tough shape. They took off so much of my natural nail in the process. So huge thank you for THIS video, it’s answered many of my questions. I’m looking forward to having pretty nails again. My natural nails just break, all my life. Thanks for this tip! If the press on is opaque will the gel still cure? Also how do you remove them?

      I don’t think they’ll adhere as well if they are opaque but maybe you can test it out to be sure. I soak them off to remove.
