    The exact thing I like about razka Z is it does not have that extra punch that sends my ball long. It is more linear imo. Thanx for the review. (I have tried dignics 80 and definitely prefer razkaZ)

      I would give Rakza Z a chance but its twice the price of hurricane 8. A comparison between Rakza Z and Hurricane 8-80 37° or 38° sponge hardness would be nice.

    Rakza Z is extra ordinary rubber bro
    Dont just praise one you playing with (dignics 9)
    Every rubber have its own properties, look at cost difference in rakza z n dignics 9 , rakza Z is clear winner
    In my opinion rakza Z is good for ameture n semi pro players
    Where as dignics 9 is for pro
    Rakza Z is highly durable n dignics 9 less durable
    Though I like your video as compared to other youtubers because you campared all rubbers pretty nicely ✌️

    I sort of agree but nobody really plays the H3 without boosting it so you cant really compare it properly without it. With booster its faster little softer and normal players like yourself can get alot out of it. I agree that the Z is better for the backhand personally because its a stable rubber on low impact but gets quite fast when hit with more force. Also one layer of booster improves the overall speed without losing the control.
    Thanks for the great video!

    It‘s interesting to see, how out of all the rubbers ypu tested against your opponent or friend of yours, the hurricane 3 (neo i think you have) gave him the most trouble. If you have solid technique, you will see an improvement with chinese rubbers.
    However, if you dont you can admittedly get a long way with something like a Dignics/Tenergy or even RakzaZ rubber.

    Did you tested Victas TDE? it is really amazing, to me it is the best of FH rubbers.
    Thank you for your review, it seems good to me in general. My favorite is Rakza Z on the backhand, not because of the budget but because of the technical benefits: it allows me to defend by blocking and cutting better than the d09c, and when I go to top against sliced balls I can attack well without the unexpected rebounds of the d09c.
    In FH I prefer Victas TDE over all of them: Rakza Z has a very high throw angle for FH, d09c betrays me with his exaggerated rebounds, h3 neo is very good only if you hit it hard, as you said, and Victas TDE it's just perfect: logical, easy, very sticky... totally understandable and quick if you hit it hard... and amazing sound.

    Have played 09c for a year and switching to Rakza Z and Rakza Z Extra Hard. To me this review missed half of the game - service, short game, flicks. The issue with most players is poor technique which fast sponge hides. With Rakza Z you get the short game and flicks and a better bedrock to build your technique. In summary you should play with a slower setup to build technique and save 50%.

    • @RedArrow2007

      I agree, even the pros are favoring more grip in the rubber for control which was why 09c was developed. The pros even talk about how less precise you can be with a rubber that grips more, which helps a lot under pressure situations and you can go for your shots more without having to be more precise. As we have seen with the crazy forehand loop guy, if you have the right technique, it doesn't matter much between the rubbers, but if you don't have that technique, there is a huge difference!

    Me gusta mucho tu canal.

    I am not a fan of 50° hardness rubber combos.
    I am currently using 38°-40° hardness Palio AK47 rubbers on both sides which are long due for an upgrade.
    I am confused between the similarly priced MX-P, MX-S, Rakza7,9,X,(and Z) Xiom Vega Pro, Vega Euro, Omega Euro and Stiga Mantra.
    I like to loop/smash with my forehand and block/chop/smash with backhand.
    Can somebody enlighten me about these?
    I earlier had MarkV on both sides on my mind but many say that it's a very old rubber in 2023.
    I use a 7-ply Off Sanwei Fextra 7 (similar to Stiga clipper ply combination).

      All the rubbers you mentioned have different sponge and topsheet combinations. MX-P has medium topsheet and hard sponge, Rakza 7 has soft topsheet and hard sponge. Rakza Z has a tacky topsheet. I don't know if you are looking for advice but with the playing style you mentioned I think MX-P wouldn't be bad for FH. On an all wood blade it has enough dwell for loops and more than enough power for smashes

      They try to make everything more juicy to make money, thick sponge also better speed too. It is a combination game. Rule of thumb is more speed , less control, more control , less speed. Tacky and gripey top sheet more spin. Not tacky and gripey is anti- spin. Then short pips less spin sensitive, long pips reverse spin. Defense with thinner sponge for better control, Offense with thicker sponge ,for more attack. If you get a headache, go see a doctor. That why I quit bowling too. Single core, dual core, soft shell for oil, hard for dry lane. Different weight blocks, different drilling layouts. different oil pattern. As long as you buying, they are making. Life shouldn't that be that complicated. Three months in ER, I am out!

    This is all relative to the players' level. Advanced would choose D09C or H3N depending on their style, for intermediates Rakza Z would be much more preferable regardless of their style. It's a great stepping stone for an intermediate player before he upgrades either to 09 or to H3.

  • @z0uLess
    @z0uLess ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Maybe the Rakza Z is better on blades that have a harder outer plies so that the blade itself creates the trampoline effect. I use it on a Stige Offensive Classic and the flexibility of the blade is also magic with this combo because it creates speed. The Rakza Z works best on hard hits, so you need good strength to play with it. Also, a jack of all trades and master of none is fine. Vladimir Samsonov used to say that he always looked for a balanced racket that sits in the middle and can do as much as possible of what other equipment can do. I think this is a good strategy when you play experienced players that will not play to your strengths.

    • @sashbar
      @sashbar 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I found Rakza Z to be quite blade-selective. It was quite bad on limba 7-ply blades and worked really well with hinoki carbon blades.

    • @z0uLess
      @z0uLess 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sashbar I have switched to a different blade with similar characteristics, the Avalox P500, which is a classic blade for tacky forehand rubbers. So far, the Rakza Z seems to works well with it and the flexibility of the blade gives dwell with the tacky rubber instead of using blades with a softer outer ply wood and stiff composition. P500 has koto outer layers and I love the feeling you get with this setup. I think this is why you have this experience with 7 ply baldes ... its too stiff for the rakza z and will feel dead compared to a thin and flexible blade. Stiff 7 ply blades work better with rubbers that have more springiness to it, I think -- where the livelyhood comes from the rubber and not from the blade

    • @sashbar
      @sashbar 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@z0uLess Flexible may work I guess, but I'm playing with a very stiff, soft hinoki Darker 7P-2A.Carbon. Hinoki wood has some trampoline effect, so RZ feels lively and softer than it is. Dwell is insane. The best thing about this combo is that it has gears, it is not bouncy in short game, very controlled, but when you hit hard and carbon kicks in, the throw gets lower, topspins get a very low penetrative arc and there's tons of spin. You need to put some power into it though. I have a hard flexible blade gathering dust (Nittaku Violin), so someday I may try it with RZ. (Probably not , as I don't really like Violin )))

  • @Wisstihrwas
    @Wisstihrwas 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yes, the 09c can produce immense spin, if you hit it correctly. But on the other hand, if your contact isnt that good, it bounces of just fast, thus your opponent can counter easily. Hurrican DHS 3 on the other hand (boosted) let you do slower shots more easy, help with the short game and if you wanna increase the power, you can easily put more body weight into it. Especially if you play chinese fh, where you let your not bat side shoulder drop and rotate the full body into the shot (compair chinese fh method to the lets say german one, where they rely more on the underarm and wrist than on the body rotation). With the chinese method you're overall just more save and more complete as a player. Yes, Dignics 09c lets you hit insane shots from far behind the table sometime. But it also leads to many misses and blocks that go to far (especially amateur to semi proffesional level, where most youtube watchers are).
    So for your average jimmy joe watching this exact video, i'd rather recoomend getting a boosted DHS3 or a Hurrican 8 (little more speed due to flexibel but tacky sheet). You'll feel more save, more in control and do ways more unforced errors, which in the end is what makes you win matches. Not the one BIG winner you hit from 3m behind the table!!
    Thats my honnest take on the topic!
    Now have a nice weekend guys. Stay back, relax and enjoy! 😍

    09c FH and BH since the day it was available. Use to play hurricane neo national and provincial on FH. T64 then barracuda then D05 on backhand.
    As a former tennis player you know i put so much energy into the ball but hurricane has always required perfect technique and more so when you are stretched or not in position. This is why d05 worked well but d09c was the game changer. Blade is key too! you put me on the dhs hurricane 5 and now, as you know, i play the 5x.
    The downside of D09c serving requires more energy but its an adjustment like hurricane.

      May I know the how long does your 09c last? how often do you/have to change it. I'm intending to use on my fh side but still figuring the balance between it's price and longevity since it is pricy.
      Another thing I'd like to ask in addition is how's the difference in terms of longevity of 09c compare to H3 (either provincial/national BS)
      Thanks in advance :)

    I feel that hurricane 3 removes consistency for how much power you need to put into it, simply because the more you have to do yourself, the more variability it will produce, if that makes sense. I somewhat regret going for h3 neo unboosted to learn table tennis, but maybe I hit some developmental breakthrough that will make it worth it ... so far, I am sticking to my strategy in order to be consistent and not change equipment every two months (which is a trap that many people can fall into). I am four months into my table tennis journey now. Videos of me playing is on my channel if you want to review my progress (its really bad!). Thanks ;-)

      Sorry but getting a Rubber that requires professional skills to properly use as a beginner is really stupid ... no idea who told you to get that one but like this it will take years for you to get on a proper level.
      Played against a "good" beginner who also had that Hurricane Rubber and he couldn't create any spin in his serves at all because he was missing the propper movements .... using my soft rubber he could do it, not perfect but much better then with this.
      I always recommend soft rubber for beginners or at least nothing super hard.

    • @z0uLess
      @z0uLess ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@XYoukaiX I went back to soft rubber, but my serves was really good with H3. I actually think it taught me to spin because it was slow and I had to rely on spin to win games. I did get some bad habits with it tho, because it was so slow, my attempts at topspin would make me add force to the ball with my arm in addition to the force that is supposed to be added by rotating the body. If you want, I can upload a video demonstration of my serves. I have the video, but I dont want to leave it up on my channel so people can study my serves :P

      Soy un viejo jugador que estuvo federado al máximo nivel regional. Definitivamente no estoy de acuerdo en cuanto a las gomas blandas. Las gomas blandas son un cáncer para el tenis de mesa, solamente funcionan cuando los dos jugadores tienen un bajo nivel. La mejor goma para un principiante es H3 comercial porque obliga a desarrollar las técnicas en los golpes. Una vez aprendidas las técnicas el jugador podrá elegir entre las mejores gomas tensoras o tacki.
      Las gomas blandas están locas cuando tu oponente tiene un cierto nivel, es como competir en ciclismo con una bicicleta de ruedas flexibles que se tuercen cuando imprimes potencia a los pedales.
