Absolutely spot on about the cost of the wedding my husband and I have been married for 46 years this month had a wedding inside his home. His family brought a dish each we picked flowers from the yard. We spent $55 at the time on wedding rings which we still wear today and work just as well. I bought a dress for $50 he wore a suit he already had total including the marriage license and everything we spent on the wedding was less than $200 and we’ve been married happily for 46 years.

The last reason is we understand the importance of diagnosis and it's being diagnosed at a much higher rate in the past you were told to just suck it up and get back to work now you either get stuck with no way out or you get treatment and nowadays we don't give people time to get better on their own instead we slap a title on them and say this is you now

I'm amazed that people call in but don't know exactly what they owe. I would know exactly and have it written on paper because Dave asks the same questions with every phone call. It sounds like people can't be organized and prepared for questions during a phone call so they can't help but have a big mess in their lives.

I never accumulated student debt. I worked the whole time I was in college and finished my degree using tuition assistance/GI Bill through my military service. My wife doesn’t even have a Bachelors degree. Together we make nearly $175K with ZERO debt outside our mortgage. A degree is not the answer to financial success. Sure it can help, but skills, work ethic, and willingness to take on levels of higher responsibility are way more influential to career success. This idiocy of going to a private school and racking up huge student loan debt astounds me. This guy clearly places lifestyle above financial freedom. He’ll be working until they put him in a box.

It scares me the amount of debt people are in that do not include a home and a car. Colleges are beyond expensive and frankly, unless you are going to school for certain degrees, like a medical doctor or engineer or work in science, one has to think if it's worth it or not. Whatever classes you take, will they pay you back in the end with endless high paying job opportunities? I always say, if a young person is really smart, they would go to a trade school and learn a MUST HAVE skill. As for weddings, I cannot think of a bigger waste of money. It's a party. That money need to be spent on the couple's future from the day after the wedding. If you cannot get out of student loans, what do you do?

Jade will probably do better with her own podcast show.
