Hello Erin, I just learned about you and your work two days ago. I am so grateful for your teaching (explanations) and your videos. I am learning so much. I want to share two things that may be helpful to others. One, I have been healing for two years and two months now (naturally) from a terrible case of worms via a whole food plant based lifestyle and BioMagscience. During this process I have experience itching throughout my body, and most recently in my rib cage. Two, since practicing your fascia teachings I am experiencing only about 10-15% of the itching, as my body continues to heal. Thank you sooo much. And may I add that I am 73 years young, which may be helpful to others to always believe in healing. Healing Blessings to you and all seeking your care!🥰
So good to find you on TH-cam. I purchased your DailyOm Fascia stretch course and return to it often for inspiration. It's been great value and great benefit to keeping ''bendy'. I wish you well and stay well.
Thank you! I feel as though I've done something that I just haven't been able to achieve with other movements. It will be very interesting to see how this practise impacts my body.
SO GREAT!!!! THANK YOU! Teaching 12-17 yoga classes a week it is super challenging to keep my body from getting too stretched! This is a wonderful way for me to work my body. Thank you!
I just found you and am so grateful. I've done fascia stretching in the past and wanted to get back into. You're explanations are great. I will definately being doing more and following you. Thank you!
Excellent wish it was loooonger 🤓🤓🤓 Do you have any for arms, neck and lower legs (calves, ankles and feet?) - I’ll check your uploads too but in case you don’t I’d love to see some for that
Thank you! You should be able to find specific videos for the areas you mentioned. I also have a free fascia flow class on my website! fascia-fix.com More classes and course to come!
Erin! Wow, what a discovery! Thank you! I’m new to this stuff and come from a lifetime of stretching, dancing, moving and being in the body. So this fascia stretching is something I feel I don’t have an internal compass for... Now at the age of 59 and with knee problems, I want to know how fascia stretching can help me..I teach yoga and so work with the breath in an integral way, in that the breath adds its own stretch from within and aids the letting go of tension on the out breath. Have you shifted exclusively to fascia stretching via resistance? Or is there still a place for traditional stretching?
I love how you describe how the breath creates its own internal stretch, I can absolutely see that! In terms of stretching, I was a dancer and chronically over stretched and started to feel awful in my body in my late teens/early 20s. I stopped almost all physical activity but after I discovered this work, I feel better than ever! I exclusively fascia "stretch" (still searching for a better word to describe the work). There is still a place for traditional stretching, however I advise to still keep a light amount of tension or muscle activation while holding a pose, and always avoid end-range. I still love yoga, I just sneakily do it a little different :) I hope that helps, thank you! Erin
@@DailyFascia Thank you Erin, I understand...I think you are the ‘missing link’ for me as regards my tendency to overstretch..indeed your work should perhaps be consciously incorporated in the practise of yoga? Many thanks, I will follow your advice x
I really liked it and felt the benefits while I was practising. May I suggest you refine your voice placement and pace to be more steady and calm. And check that the sound doesn’t echo. I will follow along again. I send you my gratitude and thanks Erin - Namaste 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for your message. Some of my YT videos were uploaded from an Instagram Live and don't transfer well. This was an older one that I don't think I even used a proper mic! I have left it up because it seems many like and watch it. I may need to reshoot and upgrade the productions, thank you!
@@DailyFascia oh I understand, yes pls keep it up at least until you re-shoot it! It is still very helpful. Do you have any Fascia Fix for hamstring tendinitis or tendinopathy? Thank you 🙏🏻
I would take a look at any videos for Hammies but while executing them, go very very light on the resistance and keep the movement very short. With tendinitis it’s best to start slow and not work with pain! Icing helps as well, especially when practicing the work :) keep me posted!
Hello! Always double check with your healthcare provider. I’m my experience, when I work the fascia in the glutes I feel benefits in my lumbar area along with my legs in general. Thank you!
That sounds awesome! I would suggest trying the fascia work before the free weight work. It would be great to a little bit after in the muscle/area in which you worked! I’d love to hear how that works for the both of you!
Hi Erin, thank you for sharing your work. I've taken your course at Daily Om and I noticed on the cat/camel exercise you instructed the opposite direction of resistance. So, hands forward when round back up, and hands backwards for cat/belly down. I tried both and I actually feel both apply some resistance. It's like if on Daily Om version is the natural resistance we do to move the back, and this version here I feel it goes on the opposite of natural, so it hinders more the movement. By intuition I would say this one here is the most effective, but not sure. Which one would you recommend to continue doing? Thank you :)
Thank you for you message and question! I think it is great to try it both ways. Most often I teach with the resistance of the hands going forward and knees back as the belly lifts up and resist the hand back and knees forward as the belly drops. It is interesting, each body is so unique that it could benefit one person more in one direction and another person the opposite. I recommend doing what feels best in your body!
Hello and thank you for the message! It can certainly be done twice in a row, the second time around, maybe use less resistance through the movements. Let your body be your guide :)
You are soooo right! I made this one awhile back before I knew what do to. It was actually an IG live I just popped on here and the reason I don't redo it is because it is the one people are view the most! Ahhh, I will at least try to edit the beginning and end :)
Hello and thank you Kathy! It is always recommended to get clearance from your doctor first. After, when trying the work, listen to your body, if it isn't feeling right then skip that stretch and move onto the next one.

Thank you it's a great video❤️are these glute exercises good to do if I have sciatica, please?Thank you very much!
Hello! Always double check with your healthcare provider. I’m my experience, when I work the fascia in the glutes I feel benefits in my lumbar area along with my legs in general. Thank you!
I'm not sure what you mean in the first stretch by "hands resist back, knees resist forward" and the reverse. Can you please explain? Thank you!
Hello! Thank you for your message, the direction of resistance is tricky to direct, I will work on new ways to describe!
my friend and I do light weights as well as the fascia fix. Should we do one before the other or does it matter? Thank you We love your class.

can i do this. i have a lumbar n cervical issues? thank for your kind attention.
Thank you! As long as you are moving pain-free :) and of course check with your healthcare practitioner before!
Thank you ☺️
🙏
Can this workout be done twice in a row? Can we do too much?
Hello and thank you for the message! It can certainly be done twice in a row, the second time around, maybe use less resistance through the movements. Let your body be your guide :)
Will this help me grow taller?
If your poster changes due to fascia changes then 🤷♀️🤷♀️
Its a pity, with the video in vertical position we miss a general overview of the body. Next time do it horizontal better

Does this work for a person who has had a knee replacement?
Hello and thank you Kathy! It is always recommended to get clearance from your doctor first. After, when trying the work, listen to your body, if it isn't feeling right then skip that stretch and move onto the next one.
