Happy Sunday! I can’t imagine anyone watching more than one of your vids and calling you two lazy. I’m more impressed all the time with your drive, and there may be a lot to do yet, but you’ve kicked serious butt up to now!
I am a 75 year old man, house builder, teacher of wilderness living, one time farmer. I watched some of your videos when you were traveling the first time in Mexico. My wife and I did similar in a ford econoline long body van, all the way to Guatemala and a second trip, same van, to Costa Rica. I got hooked on your channel. I love this project you are currently working on and often wish I could join you for some good fun work. I built my first house in New Zealand, using parts and pieces from nearly 20 other buildings that I helped recycle. I was in my twenties and the word "recycle" was not yet invented in Kiwiland. I know the hard work you are doing, the often times of consternation, moments of deep fatigue. I am happy that you have each other, along with the dogs and the cool guy who helps with the digging and the transport of all the rock. He is a keeper, feed him occasionally. You two are killing it. Best wishes from Oregon
Just found your channel and you have such beautiful property. Water near by and the trees are incredible. I have to catch up!!! You both are amazing. Such a loving and great team! Do you girls like to ride? Horses? It looks like such wonderful riding area.
Really enjoying the additional playfulness between the two of you in the cabin life series. Absolutely LOVE this channel and I feel incomplete when you take a Sunday off (not a complaint, if you need it, TAKE IT!). Stay safe ladies!
Everyday and everything you both undertake now are not just wonderful experiences and tasks accomplished....you are storing memories and feelings that will stay with you forever to be enjoyed and relived over and over. As my wife and I have done the same these past 54 years together, these memories are what gives you great joy and deep love for each other and that your lives were truly well lived. Few people have what you both have now so please cherish it and keep on being you.
My 2 year old daughter and I watch you every Sunday. She has become obsessed with the idea of building things and asks so many questions every time we watch and my tool box is now one her favorite things to look through as she “builds” castles and dog houses. For her it means a lot to see a future for herself where girls really can go out and do anything and being happy. For me it means a lot to get to share that with my daughter and have her see another family that looks like hers out there living their best life. Thanks for taking us along with your journey!
Let everything you love, be everything you do. Watching your beautiful home develop before our eyes is the best treat each week for me. Truely inspiring. Well done and blessings to both of you. Namaste, Glenn🙏
Love how you are progressing! The pride you must feel! Monarchs are a symbol of transformation or rebirth!! Just look at what you are doing to this fantastic property! The transformation of the land and your lives from van to land owners! Fantastic!!
I love it. When we finished the renovating the majority of our house, I went through it and put a piece of painters tape on all unfinished projects. There was tape everywhere!! We finished off most of it, but it's been 2 years, and I swear, there's still tape in this house!
The geodesic dome fascinates me. Back in the early 1980’s I wanted to have a geodesic home built. Mrs. was reluctant and contractors thought I was nuts. In 1986 we had a deal put together to sell our mobile home and have a conventional home built on a lot as part of the whole package deal. So, it’s been fun watching your dome come together. Keep up the good work.
It is absolutely amazing how far you two have come getting the place all together since that first video where you showed the cabin when you bought it. Loving the changes and progress.
Hi, there’s one thing I’d recommend for watering your tomatoes, cut the base end of a plastic bottle and place it near the roots and in the ground, water 💦 in these bottles as the roots are what needs watering. Place the mulch as close as you like to the tomatoes 🍅 it won’t harm them at all. Love your projects, amazing women
I loved this video with the finished greenhouse. What a project! To have a greenhouse would be so cool, to grow things all year long. Your place is turning into a beautiful home!! You girls are such hard workers! Loved the little trip to the lake and your kissing! ❤️💚💙🧡💛😘
Loving your Cabin in the woods more and more as you DIY more projects. You two are so inspirational to all of us, showing what we can accomplish if we set our minds to it. Love the four of you more each day and thank you very much for allowing us into your lives. Much love from Brampton. ❤💛💚💙
Just wanted to say that Sun Shades are on sale on Amazon right now around 28$. They come in different colors and are like a triangle shape. I think a couple of them around the house would give much needed shade and look great with the new white lights, like a yellow or a green color.
You guys are so upbeat, that’s why I look forward to Sunday videos. Have also learned a lot watching the shows . So much love there between you guys,so refreshing.
We used those cattle panels you used for the trellis to build a fence. 4x4 posts, and cut, treated 2x4 to build a frame to sandwich the panels, and Trex decking for the top. Lasts a long time! I built Mom's fence and gate from it.
Just discovered this channel... might binge through it now as this kind of build content is totally up my alley. You're literally living my dream, I could not be more jealous. Suggestion: glue on a rubber membrane (or get the special tape) over all the seems on the greenhouse to prevent dust and dirt from building up inside the layers, otherwise you might regret it in a year from now as they're really difficult to clean. Also, a cotter pin will work well for that umbrella.
@@MissJudyJetson I did. Every single cabin life video (and made sure to give a thumbs up on all of them as they did impressively well for a first timer, there's a lot of "pros" out there that can't even accomplish half as much and at a similar quality as they do). Problem I have now is TH-cam won't stop recommending me other channels like this one, lol.
Your growing dome was quite a project. I would have half way through then used it for firewood. Your patience and fortitude is amazing and you smiling and laughing. Love it you two are very motivating thank you...... Be safe you will have a wonderful homestead that you can be very proud of.... I am proud for you.
Again and again, you two are simply the best! Gotta love all of your ideas and your energy. You ladies can do anything you set your mind to do. Great job and awesome inspiration for the younger generation. You go girls! Love ya💛💛💛💛
Wow, I can just picture you two sitting back looking at all you've done and proclaiming DAMN girl, we done good. You and your supervisors are all awesome. I'm glad to see that Jaz is being extra careful when she walks on the raised bed. Bernie ❤
Good for you both for working in the heatwave, thank goodness for the lake! I'm so impressed with everything you are doing, looking forward to next week 💛
Girlz, Izzy and Bella missed watching U all…Thank you for always Bringing such Fun and Laughter. I betcha U inspired many more to jump on their “Procrastinations” AND Take a Break. Happy continued Homemaking!!!🦋🌺🪴
I love your projects, I want to suggest a small rain barrel right near your plants, you can create a system even for self watering. Keep rain barrels close to what you need them for, saves a little less trips and allows for better watering. You can hook them up to a drip hose as well.
Hey Vanwives!! Good morning to ya. You two are like little worker bees. Nothing but good can come from such hard work. I can't wait to see the solar panel install. I'm glad to see you jump in some cold ass water now, except its not that cold anymore. Stay cool and I'll see you next week my lovies!!
Hey! I’m glad y’all are progressing! I’m so excited to see the finished product! I love this series. I’m in Texas so I sympathize with you both on how hot it can get. I don’t know what it is in Celsius but it was 108 here on some of the days. Finally it’s getting a tad cooler at 101 lol. I can’t wait for fall.
Wow, you guys got a lot of loose ends tied up, great job! I love the greenhouse, it’s gonna be so nice and extend your growing season! Your hard work is paying off! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
Hi girlies! I love week after week, you girls always killing it with every project and all the filming and editing. You girls are really a huge inspiration to me, so a big thank you to you girlies. And as always lots of love and hugs from your girl Maddie in Sweden xx
I love your videos and admire how the both of you do all the building and how you garden and just do everything on your own. You two lovely ladies are very brave. Your two dogs are the cutest and love how loving you are to each other and your doggies.
Hope you are both having a lovely and relaxing week. Stay safe and gorgeous and you are both Princesses, beautiful in every way. Love ❤️🏴🏴🏴❤️❤️ Wes xxxx

I wish you well in all your forthcoming projects and can’t wait to see what you do next, look after yourselves and thanks for sharing your lovely life with us all, love you 😘 xxxxx
We just lived through a heat wave in CA for 11 straight days, 95-100 degrees, with 85-100 humidity, no AC. Today is the first normal day. It was horrible. Another fun/worked filled video.
Every week (or so) there is another action video from two amazing young ladies. You ladies are beyond this world fantastic workers and it is great seeing you having fun while you are doing it.
@@Vanwives I would not miss your videos for anything. Is there something extra in that product you drink and promote that is giving you all that energy? I was born and raised in Nova Scotia and lived half of my life in Fall River before I moved to Alberta. You are doing a fantastic job on that property. I often wonder what the guy that sold it to you would think if he saw it now.
Long story short....started following you guys when you were vanners. You were my first/only lesbian van duo. Still are. THAT said...what I'm enjoying more- learning from, and getting a bigger thrill out of YOUR accomplishments/doings/projects are....this homestead. Wow! MAJOR kudos to you both for what you've tackled- How you've tackled it, and most of all....the fabulous RESULTS! Yes Bella always makes us laugh with her box openings.🤣🐶Bella has actually been obsessed with boxes from a little puppy.. Thanks for being part of our community
One word to describe The Vanwives.....INSPIRING !! You ladies are absolutely amazing and its just awe-inspiring to watch you work and conquer so many projects that a lot of grown men actually struggle with or cant do!! (Not trying to be disrespectful to any group or anyone or any gender) I have witnessed myself grown men unable to figure out or do what you do!! I just really enjoy watching your homestead grow each week as well as watching the 2 of you grow as well!! Thank you so much for the content and if I'm being honest you ladies and Todd and Tyler have both opened my eyes and helped me understand the LBGTQ community in more ways than I thought possible!! To be 100% clear I have never been against or unaccepting I just didn't really understand and as a 45 year old straight man its not easy to admit that I didn't understand things but now I do, so please don't hold it against me if I said something incorrectly as I am still learning! But I am way more open and understanding after watching the 2 of you and Tyler and Todd an everyday I hope to learn more and help others be more accepting and understanding without judging or being hateful!! I sincerely hope that made sense and I didn't offend anyone! Thank you again and if I did say anything wrong I apologize and if someone could politely explain or correct me that would be great!! Have a great day and God Bless you all!!
Crystal and Jazz, I just love the two of you and Izzy and Bella. You are so upbeat and it makes me want to be young again so bad. The heat has been atrocious and you girls need to keep hydrated. I know the two of you are no where near finished doing the things you want to do on your property, but it already looks amazing. You need to build Porter a little cabin, he is there most the time. LOL The reason you aren't supposed to put mulch or straw near the stem is, it causes fungus to grow.
Hi! I love how you make projects so much fun and very rewarding when they are done. I take out some of the projects that I have and I’m going to make some fun out of it. You make doing projects is the lesson for all of us. Love you both and have a good week. Jerry
An abandoned cabin becomes an estate. It's been a ton of work for you and your supervisors Bella and Izzy. When it gets stinkin' hot, I like to wet my dogs head to give them a bit of relief. Great job on the garden, your tomatoes will flourish. You can do the same with cucumbers too. Make sure to prune the big leaves, so the plants can produce more and bigger harvests. All insulated whoohoo!! Y'all rock!💜💜💜💜
You girls make my week! I keep trying to encourage my daughter and her wife to live off grid. They just laugh and tell me to watch my other girls! You both inspire me to do more. Thank you!
Looking good ladies. The stem needs to stay dry, to avoid mold. That’s what keeping mulch away from the stem is for. Also, removing the bottom leaves is advised for the same reason. Happy gardening!!!!
Love you girls I'm in Lebanon Oregon and it's 100° today plus we're with you on the heat part love you so much love your projects they look good so proud of you. Love and light Miss Susie
Loved watching you two accomplishing the delayed projects and having fun too. What a lesson learned. You both are an inspiration to all of us women. So enjoy your videos and look forward to seeing you every Sunday. 😍
Dome happy dance , just going to say van is more important than you think since house is tore up but you all got a lot of work ahead to start before the cold comes
You two are both fun to watch. Even my husband likes your videos. He asked me to remind you about the bottom of the rail on the front porch needs fixing.💗💗
I love your videos, and bella and izzy of course. i'm still amazed at all the things you accomplished. i know the challenges of learning as you go since i that's what i did when renovating my house. i just wish i knew about youtube then!!! you're a real inspiration for an old man and give me hope for the younger generation. the highlight of my week is your videos. during the week i often rewatch your old videos. i know there will always be something inspiring even when things don't go as planned. here's to much more travel and adventure. stay safe and pet the two pooches for me.
You ladies are amazing. About the mulch and tomato stems: "spread organic mulch evenly around the plant, leaving some space around the stem so that water can reach the roots easily."
Saludos! Im love it every project done by you two proud girls. Never get discouraged by negative comments., at my age 66 you girls are teaching me that in life anything is possible by dreaming and a little effort is possible. Keep up your video coming is like spending time with yo and I love it🤗🐶🐾
Hi lady's just wanted to say y'all should make a cookbook. The food you show looks so good.. Love to have some of the recipes. Love the energy you 2 have. Very inspiring.
My favorite day of the week. Watching you two kicking butt and knocking out projects gets me motivated for the week ahead. Teamwork makes the dream work, and you’re making that dream the best reality 🙌🏾 Keep up the great work!
Hey Guys! Must husband and I recently bought a house out in the bush in NS. THE BUGS!!! One thing we’ve found to work is pinning dragon flies to our hats. At Canadian Tire they have a 2 pack that pin to your hat/clothes, they are on a wire that makes them bop around looking like they are flying. Makes ya look super silly, but TOTALLY worth it. Thought you ladies would find this tip helpful living in the bush as well 😃
Your place is looking beautiful! I almost can't believe how much work you two have done, but I do believe it because I've seen you do lots of it. You're also mulch maestros!
I could watch your videos for longer than 20 minutes, watching the builds and progress can't get enough. Waiting till Sunday uugh so long.I will be here
I love you ladies you make me happy and you make my days brighter. Please never stop loving each other cuz that would be a huge Downer on my behalf anyway love you take care
Hi girls. Great work! Such progress. Just a tip. If you're shifting soil or mulch start by scraping from the very outside bottom edge of the pile and keep doing that. This makes it eaxy to contain the pile in one heap as you go. Its worked for me for years.
Happy Sunday! I can’t imagine anyone watching more than one of your vids and calling you two lazy. I’m more impressed all the time with your drive, and there may be a lot to do yet, but you’ve kicked serious butt up to now!
I agree! I become exhausted when watching you two work… and you’re always so cheerful as you conquer your tasks!!
I agree with you those ladies are not even close to being lazy. They are amazing young people.

Y’all’s videos always make me smile! Thank you!
Thanks Emily 💛 your comment made us smile xx
Jerry
That is a great dome kit. Congrats for even FINDING this, let alone building it! 🙂
Hey Old Geek we could not agree more it is a great dome kit. Thanks for watching.💛💛🐶
Thank you!
Aww Stephanie.. thanks for the confidence. Your daughter will find her path. See you next Sunday.💛💛🐶
It feels fantastic to always finish projects, l agree.
Your glass house certainly has architectural merritt. It's fabulous. 😀
Oh my god, so looking forward for the garden videos in any season 🥰🥰🥰
You guys can teach the world a lot about how to love and be loved….also a lot about hard work.
Well thank you for such beautiful compliments Kate. Happy to have you as part of our community..💛💛🐶

Soooo much have been done this week. Congrats girls! Always a pleasure to watch your video :)
I love my Sunday watching your vlog videos ……you all get the jobs done ✅ your smiles your energy well when it’s not HOT 🥵 see you all next Sunday 🤗
You ladies are amazing. About the mulch and tomato stems: "spread organic mulch evenly around the plant, leaving some space around the stem so that water can reach the roots easily."
That’s it’s! Thank you! :)

So long ago I came for the Van, stayed for the cabin. Good stuff; keep it up.
Thought you ladies would find this tip helpful living in the bush as well 😃
So jealous that you have hoodies on at night. It is still in the 80s-90s (F) at night in Texas. Iced coffee for the win, for sure.
Your place is looking beautiful! I almost can't believe how much work you two have done, but I do believe it because I've seen you do lots of it. You're also mulch maestros!
Haha 😂 thanks Jim 💛
The walkway, garden beds and the lighted deck are SO inviting! Beautiful work well done, pack leaders!

Happy Sunday treat to watch this evening!
Happy Sunday 💛💛
Absolutely fantastic, you two have become one of favorite TH-cam moment every week !
Hey Corvettenyc thanks for the compliment. See you next Sunday.💛💛🐾
