I honestly didn’t realise that other people have mini breakdowns when they create something they find beautiful. I’m sorry I had to laugh but totally in solidarity at how much I related to that scene. You deserve to give yourself a great BIG old pat on the back not just for the deck, cabin or all of your wonderful van adventures but also for your fascinating outlook on life and how much joy you bring so many people each week. This is a weird thought since we don't know if she wishes to have kids someday, but... Imagine having a mom, or a grandma like her. I would be happy to even have a friend that's so strong and motivated. You are amazing!
Well, that was absolutely FUN! I am 77 and my husband is 80. We do this all the time except on the beach here in Costa Rica. I may wake up with a crick in my back, but well worth it. We''ll be married 60 years next June and plan to celebrate with a hike to a waterfall and volcano. Stay young, my friend, in your mind, for the mind rules the body.

I just quit my regular job and am on my road to sobriety from a relapsed drug addiction. Before I went on this downward spiral (yet again) I watched your videos all the time (well the ones since moving into the cabin). I live in an old house from the 1800s, that's never been updated, and sits on 100 acres. It's like peace on earth, I swear. I've been building a list of things I want to accomplish to help me find that same peace within myself, your videos help to inspire me and remind me why I am choosing a life without methamphetamines - why I deserve it. I was always filled with such wanderlust and never felt like I belonged until I got here, this place I found inspiration beauty, and healing inside of. You could add some clear polycarbonate roofing panels over the top and then you can sit out in the rain! The panels are super easy to install you just need to account for the weight of snow and enough cross beams. I have some up in my chicken coop and the sound of rain hitting it is 👌 vibes

A little tippy tip: I have an outdoor oasis too that is covered and it makes SUCH a difference. I can sit out there in the rain, hide from the sun when needed, etc. i have a chiminea too, which is so beautiful to have🐞

That was all I could think of when she finished it. What about rain?? And the tree seems to be a bit over the mattress which might make it difficult to “roof over.” All I can say is that this young woman has made her life dreams come true and I adore her. Hannah!!! That hanging bed looks awesome!! You should be so proud of yourself. When I was little, I used to go over to my aunt's house with my mother and while they gossiped in the kitchen, I could pick from her movie collection. Her movie collection was vast and unusual. (She had every Shirley Temple movie ever made.) One of the videos I watched was a Hungarian animated film called "The LIttle Fox". In the film, the main character fox says, "If I can see it, I can catch it!" and I often hear that line in my head when I'm watching your videos. You seem very led by your imagination and it's fun to watch. I can't wait to see what you make of that leveled out pebble covered area. ^_^ Glad to see a video with Matt! You guys always seem to have fun together.
I am in a low place right now and these videos give me hope. The shots of you two going camping and the beautiful views made me cry because it reminded me there is something to hope for in this world, there is beauty out there and heart warming experiences I should push through to get to, and recently I've been feeling like there is none of that for me in this life. I want to believe that this can be meant for me, too. I want to believe that if I push a little more and put in some work I can find this kind of happiness in life, too. So thank you for making these vlogs and putting them out there. They help and give more comfort than you might realise.

Too 'old' ?? I'm 51 wear heels and dresses and can build just about anything. The reason I mention heels is because looks can be deceiving people see me and think I wouldn't know how to use a screw driver lol. As for age its just a number , I've learnt how to build and fix so much over the last 7 years, and I'm still learning cool stuff you are NEVER "too old"
@@Sunnbuzz well I’m three score and ten I wish I’d had wonderful parents who took my money just leaving me with enough for train ticket, I was working to pay for her to (half sister) to go to private school elocution lesson and damn riding. Hated my parents and never had any help to even furnish my own flat..married, alone..pregnant( conceived inside matrimony ) I learnt the hard way doing everything alone and succeeded too. Had a toolbox and contents enough to make any man cry. I even taught some men some tricks..way to go Hannah. Keep doing it….

I have been married for almost 20 yrs and have built a home and have grand babies now. I will be 51 this year but my hubby is a rocker he is 9 yrs younger than me so we tour a lot trust me I still live life. I just can’t go out and live it like she does and I love watching her do stuff. I know I could build things but I have. Never found anything to build yet. Maybe she will encourage me to do just that 🤗🤘
@@stephaniebotfield7188 Good for you, even during hard times you figured it out and it did sound difficult for you at times. I too have an impressive tool arsenal. There was some carpenter working outside on a building near me, I stopped by to ask him if the pile of lumber in the bin he had was off cuts for garbage and he said yes so I asked him for some pieces. He then very nicely started to explain to me it was pressure-treated lumber and not to use it inside. I did my best to keep a stupid look on my face without laughing, I thanked him for the wood , saved myself $50 bucks and left lol He would have been very quiet if he actually saw what I can do !!

I'm 17, just starting college, and I'm looking pretty at adulthood pretty pessimistically. You hear a lot about the graduate, work for 40 (or more) years, retire (hopefully), and die routine, and I'm kind of worried that that's all my future has in store for me. I've been trying to raise my spirits by watching videos of people living their lives with a bit more whimsy, and this one has been my favorite yet lol. It's very simple and wholesome, but it looks fulfilling. As countless comments are saying, I think it's pretty inspirational. Thank you!!

I am a fulltime caregiver for my son with a rare disease so I am at home most of the time and have been forced into building my life within arm's reach, including all the getaway spots. t's so hard to see the progress when you are working tirelessly alone in the woods with no company. Hanna I’ve been watching you for a long time and I absolutely love your videos!! I was sitting here thinking and one of the things I feel like I love the most is in moments I feel home sick. I moved to FL almost 10 years ago from NE PA where we have beautiful woods, mountains and creeks, lakes, ponds, water falls. We don’t really have all that where I live in FL now. I never really miss a lot of people in PA but I truly miss the days where I could just go sit in the woods 🤣 I know that sounds so weird. You may not be in Pa but where you are looks so similar to where I’m from and it’s just comforting to me sometimes + your also super entertaining and I’ve learned a lot, your push is ladies out here to get out of our comfort zones and do things we didn’t think we could. And for all of the things I just wanted to say thank you ❤️

You could add some clear polycarbonate roofing panels over the top and then you can sit out in the rain! The panels are super easy to install you just need to account for the weight of snow and enough cross beams. I have some up in my chicken coop and the sound of rain hitting it is 👌 vibes

A little tippy tip: I have an outdoor oasis too that is covered and it makes SUCH a difference. I can sit out there in the rain, hide from the sun when needed, etc. i have a chiminea too, which is so beautiful to have🐞

When I was little, I used to go over to my aunt's house with my mother and while they gossiped in the kitchen, I could pick from her movie collection. Her movie collection was vast and unusual. (She had every Shirley Temple movie ever made.) One of the videos I watched was a Hungarian animated film called "The LIttle Fox". In the film, the main character fox says, "If I can see it, I can catch it!" and I often hear that line in my head when I'm watching your videos. You seem very led by your imagination and it's fun to watch. I can't wait to see what you make of that leveled out pebble covered area. ^_^

I am in a low place right now and these videos give me hope. The shots of you two going camping and the beautiful views made me cry because it reminded me there is something to hope for in this world, there is beauty out there and heart warming experiences I should push through to get to, and recently I've been feeling like there is none of that for me in this life. I want to believe that this can be meant for me, too. I want to believe that if I push a little more and put in some work I can find this kind of happiness in life, too. So thank you for making these vlogs and putting them out there. They help and give more comfort than you might realise.

Too 'old' ?? I'm 51 wear heels and dresses and can build just about anything. The reason I mention heels is because looks can be deceiving people see me and think I wouldn't know how to use a screw driver lol. As for age its just a number , I've learnt how to build and fix so much over the last 7 years, and I'm still learning cool stuff you are NEVER "too old"
@@Sunnbuzz well I’m three score and ten I wish I’d had wonderful parents who took my money just leaving me with enough for train ticket, I was working to pay for her to (half sister) to go to private school elocution lesson and damn riding. Hated my parents and never had any help to even furnish my own flat..married, alone..pregnant( conceived inside matrimony ) I learnt the hard way doing everything alone and succeeded too. Had a toolbox and contents enough to make any man cry. I even taught some men some tricks..way to go Hannah. Keep doing it….

I have been married for almost 20 yrs and have built a home and have grand babies now. I will be 51 this year but my hubby is a rocker he is 9 yrs younger than me so we tour a lot trust me I still live life. I just can’t go out and live it like she does and I love watching her do stuff. I know I could build things but I have. Never found anything to build yet. Maybe she will encourage me to do just that 🤗🤘

I too have an impressive tool arsenal. There was some carpenter working outside on a building near me, I stopped by to ask him if the pile of lumber in the bin he had was off cuts for garbage and he said yes so I asked him for some pieces. He then very nicely started to explain to me it was pressure-treated lumber and not to use it inside. I did my best to keep a stupid look on my face without laughing, I thanked him for the wood , saved myself $50 bucks and left lol He would have been very quiet if he actually saw what I can do !!

I'm 17, just starting college, and I'm looking pretty at adulthood pretty pessimistically. You hear a lot about the graduate, work for 40 (or more) years, retire (hopefully), and die routine, and I'm kind of worried that that's all my future has in store for me. I've been trying to raise my spirits by watching videos of people living their lives with a bit more whimsy, and this one has been my favorite yet lol. It's very simple and wholesome, but it looks fulfilling. As countless comments are saying, I think it's pretty inspirational. Thank you!!

You've (And a few other youtubers) have inspired me to start filming and sharing everything I am up to around my land/house. I am a fulltime caregiver for my son with a rare disease so I am at home most of the time and have been forced into building my life within arm's reach, including all the getaway spots. t's so hard to see the progress when you are working tirelessly alone in the woods with no company. I hope that sharing it everything will bring me some joy.

Hanna I’ve been watching you for a long time and I absolutely love your videos!! I was sitting here thinking and one of the things I feel like I love the most is in moments I feel home sick. I moved to FL almost 10 years ago from NE PA where we have beautiful woods, mountains and creeks, lakes, ponds, water falls. We don’t really have all that where I live in FL now. I never really miss a lot of people in PA but I truly miss the days where I could just go sit in the woods 🤣 I know that sounds so weird. You may not be in Pa but where you are looks so similar to where I’m from and it’s just comforting to me sometimes + your also super entertaining and I’ve learned a lot, your push is ladies out here to get out of our comfort zones and do things we didn’t think we could. And for all of the things I just wanted to say thank you ❤️
