Hi Sammy. As a kid in 1971 I remember the cards in the packs going in one direction. A lot of times you could get an exact repeat sequence pack hence the gum staining on that Aaron card. I was a big fan of the rack packs myself. Great video content!
Kind of amazing how under-graded so many of these cards look. I agree as well, some sellers are costing themselves by not using scanners on listings. Not every graded card is equal and there are several affordable scanners out there. Can you use that zoom tool on active listings? That extra magnified detail is clean. And a Winfield PSA 7 for $80-ish is a steal in my opinion. Nice breakdown, thanks
I have both the Fisk and Winfield rookie. I think some of the cards from early 1970's could go up is because after the baby boomer, the Gen X might want to go back and revisit some of their childhood favorites. I don't know with Fisk and Winfield. Maybe. In general. But we'll see. What happens in the next 10 years. I like you show casing some cards which don't currently have as much hobby love. Hopefully, a 1975 to 1979 Topps for the next episode. You will have so many options, but some good ones. Or a whole video could be done for 1975 Topps too. :]
I actually wonder if Vintage will drop in price in 30 years. It doesn’t seem to be that desirable of an interest with millennials and generation Z. I know there are millennials and generation Z out there that like Vintage, but it seems like there’s more of an interest in the modern stuff. Baby boomers will likely pass down their collection to their children and perhaps that might reinvigorate the interest, but I’m not so sure. I think the big names like Mantle, Mays, Clemente and Aaron will always be recognized and collectible across generations. I think there will always be a select number of cards that will maintain or increase in value. Only time will tell.
@@SammyThunder We are both millennials that collect vintage. We're around. But yes. Mayne not a lot of us. There will always be interest in the bigger names as you mentioned though. That part won't change. Indeed...time will tell. Great video Sammy
Most of Fisk's cards are not expensive. Unless we're talking like, the highest of high grades...the set registry guys. I don't think I would need my Fisk rookie card in a 9. But that's just me. Despite having it, and being his rookie card, not sure if it's even my favorite of his cards. 1972 and 1973 subjective, but they are not really the best designs. At least to me. But I kind of like his 1977 Topps card. Has a pretty cool action shot or image. Yeah.
Hi Sammy,
Thanks for your video of great cards from 1970-74. I love the Aaron 1971 Topps card.
Have a great evening,
Peter
Thank you, Peter
Great video. Munson totally under rated. Should have been in the hall a long time ago. Thanks for sharing!
He will be.
That’s a great looking 54 Mays Sammy. One sure to make John consider breaking the bank to add one. Good luck with the contest👍🏽👊🏼
Thank you, James. It’s been a while friend. I hope you’re doing well. Are you planning on going to the national this year?
@@SammyThunder yes. I’ll be in a working capacity though, setting up with friends.
Hey Sammy love this series. Some awesome cards you can buy for less than 100! Great presentation.
Thank you very much
Great video. Keep it up and the subscribers will keep on coming. Can't believe you don't have more.
I’m in no rush 😎

Good to know about the packs. Thank you!
Hi Sammy. Those are some good deals for those stars. Thanks for sharing my friend. Talk soon pal.
Thank you, Stephen
73 Clemente is a great card and underrated! But got mine raw and it graded a 6. The backs are always off centered your right, lol.
I’ve scarcely seen a 73 Clemente with a centered back
Love the Winfield - have that and need to get graded. Need to add those others to my PC. Awesome stuff as usual 👍
Thank you!
Great video Sammy. Really good value out there on the Fisk rookie.
Thanks, Jason. You can really stretch your dollars a lot more in the early 70s.
Gave a video like - Always enjoy these type of videos
Great video Sammy, thanks for sharing
Thank you, Orlando
Munson’s 71 card is one of the greatest cards ever made
It’s a classic card

Thank you so much. Good photography goes a long way. I know that there are some eBay listings where you can use it.
@@SammyThunderYou're welcome. Very interesting tool, thanks for letting me know!

Look into Munson’s fights with Fisk.
Very entertaining stories there, for sure.
I will
Do yiou think the Munson and Fisk are low price bc hey are sharing the card with other players?
Munson, very likely. Fisk, no.
