After 60 years, I just started my first Christnas village featuring Lemax products. I have about 20 buildings along with many accessories and figures you have showcased. I have made a few items from scratch as well, namely a manger and reindeer stable. I have practically spent my kids inheritance with this "hobby". I must say I am very impressed with your concept, construction and detail. I really like how you divided your scene into different themed zones. Yours is too spectacular to put away and should be left up all year. I appreciate your use of the large variety of trees and ground cover. You have given me so many new ideas I have not thought of or caught on Pinterest. Thank you for sharing your vision and labor.
Thank you so very much Ray! I do leave my village up for most of the year. My village for 2022 is still up today. I don’t know if you have seen my other videos but I have so many other tutorials to show you how I do everything Christmas village related. Take care! 😀
I showed my mom your video. Now, she can't wait to create our village. She is 78 and she is looking forward to creating a beautiful village. Thanks one more thing we get to do together 🙂
You have really out done yourself on this one. It's absolutely beautiful. I love how you cut out the grass mat to put in a walkway. I would have never thought to do that. This village is super awesome. You have taught me soooo much it isn't even funny....so, thank you for that. Just WOW, to the whole thing.
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful village. Mine is almost finished but yesterday my grandchildren came here and changed a lot of things! I can't complain because I make it for them and also because one of them said something really touching. "I love the village but I don't like one thing. Why is everybody white? You should paint some of those white skins." It made me very proud of him. Hugs from Rio de Janeiro.
You are very welcome! That’s wonderful, I wish I were almost finished. 🤣😂. I have hit a creative block at the moment on my carnival. I’m hoping to finish it this weekend. We shall see. That is too precious about your grandchild. I love the heart of children, they see differences and love it and embrace it. We should all be more like them. 😀
Wow Miriam, I feel like I’m always repeating myself, but this is truly amazing and you out did yourself yet again!!! It’s so beautiful and your attention to detail is what makes your villages stand out and look so realistic!!! Well done my friend!!! 👏🏻❤️
Wow😯. This is so great and beautiful. I'm going to make my first Christmas village in this year. Thank you Miriam I learned a lot from your videos. I suggest that to make a christmas village from the printables of houses and figurines. Again thank you very much Miriam.
I am totally speechless, this village is your best by far...each section tells a story...and you still have another open platform behind it? I never even thought about using a sharper under the platform to make the holes for the top styrofoam...I have been crawling under the platform with my Hot Knife cutting the holes...oh my aching back!!!! ALL HAIL THE QUEEN of Christmas Villages!!!
Thank you for yet again another great video, Miriam! I started my village last year and had no videos to help or even where to start until I came across yours. Now I’m excited to start this years village after watching your tutorials. Thank you!!
Hi Miriam. Your village is fabulous. All of the realistic details are amazing to me. Makes me feel like I'm really in the neighborhood. You are very talented. Your village has so much life in it. So many stories. Wonderful job sis and thanks for sharing again. I was sooooo worth the wait. Have a blessed weekend 😘👍💕💕
It looks fabulous Miriam. I really love the way you create the whole scene. I have realised I don’t have enough normal houses in my village and as such it is not as ‘realistic’. I find your videos so helpful and fun to watch. Thanks again
Hi Miriam, How is that your village just seems to keep getting better and better??? At first I was a bit confused with your stone walls, then, once you attached them, it all made perfect sense. Such a bustling, busy little neighborhood. The turf worked out perfectly. Loved how you cut out a path way from each house. I must say I was slightly disappointed that we didn't see you climbing all over your table. Hahaha!! I was helping Mom earlier this morning setting up her neighborhood. I bought a grass mat for her last week from Joann Fabrics. Told it would look perfect as a yard for the houses. Yesterday I found this adorable little greenhouse at Walmart and asked her if she wanted it for her village. She did. I also got myself a fountain. I've never had one before for my village and I am excited for this new addition. I'm currently finishing up a small farm area I've created. Once it's done, then I will be working on my town area. Still so much to do but slowly making progress. Thank you so much for sharing these videos. I know you've really helped to inspire so many people. You should be teaching classes on village set up and design. I couldn't help but notice you are now slightly over 6000 subscribers. Contrats to you!! I still remember signing up as your 200th subscriber. You've come so far and are just rocking this channel. A joyous blessing for sure. Wishing all the best to you and yours.
Hey Lloyd, Thanks so much! I’m so excited for you with your fountain, that will be great in your village. I LOVE the idea in a farm in a village, I can’t wait to see yours. That was very sweet of you to get the greenhouse for mom. It seems so many of us are in the same boat, make slow progress on our villages. I am hoping to speed up my progress this week. I finally feel back to normal as of last week and my energy had returned. I have 2 more sections of my village to complete and I am hoping to get them done by the 15th. I remember you subscribing when I had very little subscribers too. It has been about a year and a half since I started my channel and it has definitely started to take off, it is a blessing. How much longer do you think you have until your village will be complete? I am soo looking forward to seeing it! 😁😁
A great idea for next year to build. Now my 9 houses are spread over 5 different custom made pieces. I'm looking forward to combine them (almost) all. Thanks a lot.
Magnificent piece. Everything looks so beautiful. I enjoy watching your videos. I’m stills currently building mountains to my scenery to start putting my village up. Can’t wait to start. Thank you so much for showing us in this community.

Hi mimiam! Im in love of you work, I just realize that you never put any car on it!! 🤔 I know ist not big deal, but im a Little obsessed, greeting and blessing!
Thank you so much. I don’t own any cars for my Christmas village. When I first started villaging, my village was in the 1920’s period. I haven’t fully come around to modernizing my village yet. I still have my horse and carriages.
I absolutely LOVE your village!!! We do one every year and we are going bigger this year. Where do you get your residential Christmas village houses from? I can't seem to find any. I have too many businesses and not enough homes.
Absolutely beautiful!! This will be my first Christmas Village and I’m doing a Christmas Campground! You’re my inspiration! I would like to know where you purchased the night sky backdrop, please.
Hello Susan, thank you so much. I am excited for you with your first village. The link to the backdrop is in the description box of the video I posted below. Christmas Village Set Up Part 1 (Dreamy Falls)
Beautiful work!!! Are those houses Lemax? I have found you just over a month ago and you have inspired me to do my first village. It has been so much fun. Next year will be better, I will have a whole year to plan, create and buy...............does the buying ever end? (haaaa) Thank you for sharing your talent.
The houses are Dept 56, and O’Wells brands. That is awesome, glad to hear you are getting started. No, the buying never ends. 😂🤣😂. There is always something small to add every year.
Wow! This is so creative and beautiful. What did you used for the backdrop? It looks so nice - like the night sky. I'm really enjoying all your videos. This year my village is going in a China Hutch. The backdrop is mirrors. I'm trying to think of something so all the cords, etc won't reflect off the mirror (thus my question about your back drop). Thank you
It is a backdrop I ordered off of Amazon. I have attached the link below to the video of how I put it up. The link is in the description box of this video. Christmas Village Set Up Part 1 (Dreamy Falls) th-cam.com/video/Yriv7BM5vIQ/w-d-xo.html

HI Miriam, gorgeous village. Can I ask what is the brand of your tools that you use? The hot knife and the foam cutter that you use to build walls and rocks. Thanks a lot. I am learning a lot from you.
Hello, Thank you very much! I used Hot Wire Foam Factory tools. I have a rep that you can order from. She has been using the tools for decades and is very knowledgeable about all of them. Her contact info is listed below. Pat (443) 454-6554
how large is the whole set up of your village ? I currently have two 3 x 6 tables and after watching your video - your setup looks much bigger ? thanks so much - your village is B E A U T I F U L !
You are so sweet. 😂🤣. I use two 4’x8’ tables. This year I just put it in a square but sometimes I do a L shape and this year I think I’m am doing a U shape.
Hello, I am going to start by saying that I love your videos, amazing creations you have. This is my first time building a Village but I need an advice; I have a nativity set and a Christmas village, in your personal opinion do you think they can be combined in one set up?
I got that from the dairy section in hobby lobby. I think I saw some when I was there last a few month ago. They have other good stuff in that area too.
Hi Miriam! I have another question for you about Christmas villages. I have some big buildings that I will be using to set my display up, but I also have some little houses. Is it okay to incorporate the little houses into my village, or should I make like a separate little village for the small houses?
Great question! I used all sorts of different size buildings in my village. If a building in considerably smaller, I might consider making a small base to elevate it slightly or put it with buildings that are roughly the same size.
Gorgeous...I will like to make a village underneath my 7 ft tall tree. I also want to add a train since now I have 2 granddaughters. Any ideas please? Thanks
I did that in my children’s villages 3 years ago and it came out great. Make sure your train tracks are large enough go around the whole tree. You can also elevate your whole tree on a table if you need more space underneath. 😀
Try creating sections that don’t face each other. That way it forces you to walk around to see different angles of the village and find cute surprises. Also, elevations are a great way to break up a village. If you don’t want to build anything, you can always use books, cardboard boxes, or even the box the house comes in if it is sturdy.
Hi again! Lol. I have another question for you. How did you pick the name for your village? I'm noticing that the community of villagers have a name for their village. I want a name for mine, but I don't know what to name it when I get it set up. Oh...and yesterday, I bought my first moving piece for my village. It's a little ferris wheel and it plays Christmas music!
Hello Janita, That is such a great question! My village name was inspired by the very first mountain I built. I was looking at my village with the mountain in it and I said to myself, “that waterfall is so dreamy”, and my village name was birthed in that moment. Dreamy Falls. I’m so happy for you your first loving piece. You will notice it will make a huge difference.
You never stop to amaze me with every work you do. I wish I could do things just like you do BTW, how can I avail of the hot knife when I am from the Philippines? I Wish it is sold online but with our currency. ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks! 😃. I get the insulation foam boards from Lowe’s. They have a protective sheet on both sides that I just peel off to get to the foam. I have attached the link for you below. Happy crafting! www.lowes.com/pd/Common-1-5-in-x-4-ft-x-8-ft-Actual-1-4375-in-x-3-875-ft-x-7-875-ft-R-Expanded-Polystyrene-Foam-Board-Insulation/3362408
Hello Janita, thanks so much! The first mountain and lake combo I made came out pretty good but I made a lot of mistakes on my first one. By the time I made my second one I was good to go. I do get better as I keep creating. There is always something to learn when crafting. 😃
The best advice I can give you in lay your buildings and your park out like I have mine on a board to make sure you have appropriate spacing. Then make yours the same size as the board. I’m so sorry about that.
@@MiriamsManner I'd like to send you a video of it when I get it done. It won't be as good as yours but I'll try lol. Also I find it near impossible to find these pics as trees and bushes

@@MiriamsManner Oh you’re welcome. It’s genuine joy I feel every time I watch the video.
And oh by the way, thank you for sharing the links, Miriam. I will surely check them out.
God bless you always and your family. ❤️❤️❤️
God bless you too!
Hello Jillian, thank you so very much. A few of my houses are Dept 56 and some are the O’Wells brand.

Beautiful Miriam, I like to know where you buy the Staples you use to secure the wires. I was looking in Walmart but no fine
Thank you! 😃
They are floral pins, you can pick them up anywhere. I have attached a link from Michaels for you.

Absolutely beautiful..I'm not sure I can get mine done in time..just found out my mom has stage three cancer...I've been having to take care of her... hopefully I can next year
Thank you Debbie. I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I will keep her in my prayers. God bless you and your family.

You are very welcome, it’s the least I can do.
Hi I've noticed you have alot of differnt accessories that I have never seen before. Where do you purchase them. Also love your work.
Of course. I purchase them from ehobbytools.com. They sell all Lemax products.
Simply Beautiful, you are so talented. Where did you get all those animated figurines?, they are adorables!!!!
Thank you so much. I got them from www.ehobbytools.com.
Love, love, love this!! The over flowing pond, is this something you made or bought?
Are you referring to the pond in the vineyard? I made that entire piece. There is a video about it on my channel.
I absolutely love your videos! I am wondering where you got your black back fences from? ⭐
Those are a Lemax product called “canal fence”.
@@MiriamsManner oh thank you 💜☺
You are welcome!
Hi Miriam have you see the channel Halloween Villages by Carl? He has great tutorials and now he is doing the Christmas Villages. I love his Halloween villages and now I’m looking forward his take on Christmas villages.
Hey Marina,
No I haven’t seen his channel yet but I will definitely check him out. Thanks for sharing! 😀
Thank you so much,Miriam!! Will you please tell me the name of the house, situated in the middle among three, left one with colums on the porch and balcony,it is so lovely!!! May be it is not Lemax...
It is a dept 56 house. I will see if there is a name for it on the bottom of the house and get back with you.
@@MiriamsManner thank you very much.
It is the beacon hill victorian house.
I added a link below of someone selling it.

Hi Miriam, I'd like to know what is the instrument that you use to burn into the foam to create canals to bury your wires in. Thanks
Hello Marilyn, that is just a hot knife with a short blade.
HI Miriam, gorgeous village. Can I ask what is the brand of your tools that you use? The hot knife and the foam cutter that you use to build walls and rocks. Thanks a lot. I am learning a lot from you.
Hello,
Thank you very much! I used Hot Wire Foam Factory tools. I have a rep that you can order from. She has been using the tools for decades and is very knowledgeable about all of them. Her contact info is listed below.

Looks really good! Where did the houses come from?
Thanks Jeff. My houses are Dept 56 and O’Wells.
Miriam, when you have the houses facing inward on the sides of the neighborhood, how did you hide the cord?
Hello, I show how to do that in part 3. I linked the video below for you. 😃
Christmas Village Set Up Part 3: Business District
how large is the whole set up of your village ? I currently have two 3 x 6 tables and after watching your video - your setup looks much bigger ? thanks so much - your village is B E A U T I F U L !
You are so sweet. 😂🤣.
I use two 4’x8’ tables. This year I just put it in a square but sometimes I do a L shape and this year I think I’m am doing a U shape.
Hello, I am going to start by saying that I love your videos, amazing creations you have. This is my first time building a Village but I need an advice; I have a nativity set and a Christmas village, in your personal opinion do you think they can be combined in one set up?
Hey Jose, thank you very much.
I think they can be combined of the pieces are roughly the same size. If not, I would do two smaller set ups.
Hi Miriam, where did you get the sliding board from. I'm looking for school yard play equipment. Any suggestions?
I got that from the dairy section in hobby lobby. I think I saw some when I was there last a few month ago. They have other good stuff in that area too.
Hi Miriam! I have another question for you about Christmas villages. I have some big buildings that I will be using to set my display up, but I also have some little houses. Is it okay to incorporate the little houses into my village, or should I make like a separate little village for the small houses?
Great question! I used all sorts of different size buildings in my village. If a building in considerably smaller, I might consider making a small base to elevate it slightly or put it with buildings that are roughly the same size.
@@MiriamsManner Thank you!
You are welcome!
I have two 6 ft.tables. All my buildings are a straight line. How can I rearrange them differently to give my village a little more interest?
Try creating sections that don’t face each other. That way it forces you to walk around to see different angles of the village and find cute surprises. Also, elevations are a great way to break up a village. If you don’t want to build anything, you can always use books, cardboard boxes, or even the box the house comes in if it is sturdy.
Hi, the video Christmas village setup part 4, what size is the board and legs
? Thank you
I am so sorry, I don't have that village up anymore to give you exact measurements. I believe it was 30"L x 24" W x 8"H.
Hi again!
@@MiriamsManner I love the name Dreamy Falls! It fits it! 🥰
Thanks! 😀
You never stop to amaze me with every work you do. I wish I could do things just like you do
BTW, how can I avail of the hot knife when I am from the Philippines? I Wish it is sold online but with our currency. ❤️❤️❤️
That is so sweet, thank you so very much. I can contact my rep to see if they ship to the Philippines.
hi, you have inspired me to step up my village game. Where do you get Styrofoam
in the extra large sheets like this?
Thanks! 😃. I get the insulation foam boards from Lowe’s. They have a protective sheet on both sides that I just peel off to get to the foam. I have attached the link for you below. Happy crafting!

@@MiriamsManner Thank you so much. I can't wait until pre Christmas time to set up my new village
Me too. I’m doing a resurrection village for Easter in the meantime.
@@MiriamsManner oh wow I can't wait to see it.
Your village is looking awesome! How long did it take you to learn how to do these when you first started?
Hello Janita, thanks so much! The first mountain and lake combo I made came out pretty good but I made a lot of mistakes on my first one. By the time I made my second one I was good to go. I do get better as I keep creating. There is always something to learn when crafting. 😃
Im a new student. My question is can I use actual house paints. I have a lot left over so I thought maybe I can use them?
I haven’t ever used them but I have heard other that have used interior house paint.
@@MiriamsManner thank you. I just have left over intrrior paints. I really enjoy your videos.
Thank you.
Are the houses by Lemax?
No, actually Dept 56 and the O’Wells brand.
What are the dimensions for this platform. This is amazing.
I’m not sure. I don’t have it up anymore. I would definitely say if you attempt this build, just make it to fit the size of your tables. 😁
@@MiriamsManner I'm really trying to replicate yours because I have alot of similar buildings and yours looks amazing
I would love to see it when you are all done. A lot of my pics I get from hobby lobby and Michaels.
👏👏👏👏👏😍
Thanks!
Please what is the sea saw calld
I can’t find it anywhere for sale anymore. Sorry about that. I can tell you it is a Lemax piece. I don’t have the outer box for that piece anymore.
