For those asking, Josie Toney is not accompanying Sierra on this tour. She's an independent artist with other commitments, and I believe she is performing a residency at a venue in Nashville this month. I hope to see her return to the stage with Sierra as much as anyone!
Thank You for Your fast reply, Good Luck to Sierra for the rest of her tour: I'm a huge fan from Australia, saw Sierra & the band in Brisbane last year!!!
Imagine this song being sung by Dolly Parton or Tammy Wynette in their heydays, by Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, or Carly Simon in theirs, or even Taylor Swift in hers today....this song would be a number one career-type signature song for them. It is, in my opinion, one of the best country songs ever written. Her ability to write music that is so original, yet so literally timeless - without even coming close to being/sounding nostalgic mimic/gimmick - is extraordinary.
Oliver played fiddle/mandolin depending on the track on the Europe tour last summer as a three piece with Geoff. The Telecaster was great on the NYE shows as an extra, but i agree, he'd be better playing fiddle on this. He's superb in his own right.

I think Oliver and Josie are both wonderful on fiddle. Sierra is very fortunate to have two excellent musicians she can call on for that spot.
Fantastic!

Where’s Josie?
Releasing her own stuff. She is an All-Star. This band was super solid with her...
The electric guitar player was OK, but the band with Josie was spectacular! Compared to other videos of the same song, this sounds hollow.
If I had my way, Sierra and Josie would remain a team forever. But we don't get to make those decisions...
