What should my cars air conditioner temp be Just put some R 134A into my system and checking the temperature What should your car’s temperature be on a hot day.
19° out the vents with dual electric fans on high idling in park after 30 minutes during mid day July 95° outside ambient air temperature. You can breath toward the vents and see your breath. Make your face hurt after 5 mins. In front of vent. 2004 5.3 silverado. Temperature taken using Fluke laser ir thermo. Yea, that's crazy cold ac. AC compressor has been replaced with oem aftermarket equivalent.
i just did the can recharge on my 94 previa, yesterday it was 75* got it down to 35, today it was 87* drove on highway it got to 48*, ill call that a win
45 to 60 is consider good the closer to 50 better,,,reason you dont want it too cold is you can get shock,,if you super cold inside car and step out in hot weather,,,,,,
I have a 99 civic and I was sick and tired of my A/C issues. No one could tell the exact problem, so I replaced everything. Brand new Denso compressor, new evaporator and expansion valve, new condenser, all new o-rings. Did a 2hour evac and recharged my system. Now I get 32-35 degrees depending on the temperature outside. If it's hot outside like 90 I get 40-42 on of the center vent.

Are you sure you were reading the correct temp? Because, anything below 32 deg. F the evaporator coils start freezing up.

I am currently working on my 91 previa ac getting stupid readings done changed everything but the whole van in Texas
The car air conditioner is usually colder while driving.
I just purchased one of those thermometers and at first glance I thought each mark was 2 degrees but it's 4 degrees.
You are right as it is deceiving, each main marker is a 20 degree jump instead of 10.
Dude, dis you add refregerant or replace it with new refregerant..thnx
I simply added R-134 to it. Be sure to always check what type of refrigerant your using before adding any to it. NEVER Mix Different gas types.
Boss, just clarification, what is the rpm of the car for 40 degress farenhiet?
approx 750 rpm
@@iRepairElectronics thank u
I want to be shocked By cold AC sign me up
Sounds like a treat
wow i just realized car ac systems in the philippines suck, they only run 50 to 53 max with bnew components lol
ikr, they usually recharge the freon under shade, lowest fan temp and 1/4 to 1/20 termostart which cant beat the heat at high noon

ok so youre saying his ac is shit, it needs to run hotter lmao
@@jamesortega8681 😂
No colder the better means your ac system is working good. 40 is the standard but I can get mine down to 20 on a 90 degree day
@@ryans413I just put a meat thermometer in front of my vent for a minute a low temp. Coldest I got was 43 degrees F
@@davidbee7060 was it on max with the air recirculation on because mine goes down to 20.
Strangely my civics ac doesn't let it get colder than 60F, idk if there's a reason for it but even on the freeway it doesn't like going lower than 60
There's a few things that could cause that take it to a shop and have the AC system checked
@@Jerry-me1fy turns out it was the compressor haha, replaced it with a new one and its so much better. (I did try other methods first)
